nutluck Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I tried it out and it seemed to work just fine. I do have a few request/suggestions for the future. 1) Please included the MCM part of the mod into a single mod. I am not a fan of having to install two esp's for just one mod. 2) NPC strip button, most for followers. You can tell your follower to strip, though makes sense for other NPC's too. Perhaps a put the target on them and then a hot key or something along those lines. 3) It would be nice to see a dance strip tease animation added down the road. 4) Forced stripping animation for mods like defeat or submit to be able to use so it looks like the attackers are actually stripping the victim before the sex. Anyways nice mod everything seemed to work when I tested it some but those was the things I thought of that I think would be nice to see.
CGi Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Serial Strip is part of the APPS Framework, the framework that'll power the APPS mod and make developing content for it easier. So in the end, there won't be an additional ESP. Right now it's the actual framework part of the unstripping functionality plus a test plugin to make it useable for players, so they can test it and give feedback. NPC support will be included, but takes some time as it's no small of a deal. Custom and highly scripted followers (like Vilja) will be a big problem and there's very lkely not much that can be done to make it work flawless for them. But we'll investigate. Strip + dance is part of the APPS mod and not focus of this "mod" nor the focus of the actual unstripping functionality. So using Serial Strip for something like this, is fully up to the modders that'll use the APPS framework or (for unknown reason) this tech preview. The logic for something like this still has to be carved out. Not an easy task, especially if it has to work globally. Needs consulting with Ashal and Goubo.
Kawauso Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Now if only we had automated stripping and redressing on changing equipment...
Changer Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Now if only we had automated stripping and redressing on changing equipment... that would be awesome... like the animations mod, just better :>
Uno Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Things are going very very quiet in here. I'm looking forward a new version, just for the sake of novelty.
Antono Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 I like quiet: tells me there are no more bugs in SerialStrip! So, we are currently working on including NPC support (this is the most requested feature after redressing animations) and thus the question of multithreading has cropped up, on which I have to do a bit of reading and decide. In the meantime, I will include some safe-uninstalling functionality to make it safe to install, play and remove SerialStrip in a normal playthrough. This will effectively remove it from beta status and make it a normal release.
Antono Posted May 3, 2015 Author Posted May 3, 2015 New version has been rolled out. We've taken this mod out of Beta as by all accounts it is stable. The new versions of SerialStrip and its helper SerialStripper add support for translation and uninstall functionality. The uninstall function will hopefully allow this mod to be easily added and removed from normal gaming without leaving trash behind. Translated language files are included for English, German (courtesy of CG! and Heromaster) and French (by yours truly). I can't see the french text on my screen because my game is in English. If any French gamers out there have any suggestions for corrections, please feel free to post here. SerialStrip v1.0.4 - Stable.- Added uninstall functionality in the code. Modders can use it by calling the Uninstall() function.- Localized to English, German and French. SerialStripper v.1.0.2 - Stable.- Added uninstall options in the MCM menu. The parent mod SerialStrip can also be uninstalled through there.- Localized to English, German and French. Next version should have support for stripping any NPC. Also, we can confirm that an animator has committed to making redressing animations too.
Antono Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 A new version of SerialStripper has been released. It features corrected French translation by Narsilien80. Thanks! SerialStripper v1.0.4 - Corrected French translation by Narsilien80.
microdd Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Hi Just tried the mod and giving my feedback here. 1. Seems some problem with the Tera armor set, at least the CBBE HDT conversion sets. The animation stopped after first piece undressed and PC froze, non-controllable 2. Probably I was not doing it right, or the mod still not linked with SL, during SL undressing animation it did not work. Sorry I didn't go through every post if you mentioned something previously 3. Wondering if you could make follower undress with it? 4. My personal opinion is, make it work with some strip tease animation? Like the dance for money function in TDF prostitution, bet customers would pay more. Anyways, something more sensual than like undressing before going to the swimming pool or try new clothes at the store. Just my own output here. Overall, great work, think it should be a feature stay with the SL framework from now on.
Antono Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 Hi microdd and thanks for the feedback. 1. Could you post a papyrus log created during the Tera armor set stripping? 2. You are correct. The mod is not linked with SexLab for undressing actors during scenes. The only link currently existing is the ability to read your SL configuration and only strip the slots you have activated there. Full SexLab integration requires collaboration with Ashal but first SerialStrip has to provide support for NPC stripping. ...which brings me to... 3. NPC stripping functionality has already been coded and is in the internal testing phase. Expect a new version pretty soon! 4. Agreed. The code can run any animation we give it, there's absolutely no problem and no extra coding involved. So, the trick is to find a suitable animation! The next animations queued up for SerialStrip are redressing ones, as this is a most-requested feature. If any animators out there are interested in creating strip-tease animations, we'd be happy to include them in this mod.

Don't know if it had anything to do with me updated the Non-sexlab animation or what. Anyways here is the papyrus log incase you can find anything in there. And seems every time I play the game recently (not so often now), CTD happens out of no where, a few minutes after the loading for the worst case or crash out right away. Hopefully the log tells why as well. Thanks. Papyrus.0.log
Heromaster Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 No errors are thrown by SerialStrip or SerialStripper, so it works as expected. CTD's are not the cause of our plugin but very likely of the errors you have shown in the papyrus log. Whatever mod is using this script MG07VisionTriggerScript is most likely causing CTD's.
chope Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Idea for next version: Choose by mcm which slots u want to strip. I had to reinstall skyrim so i reinstalled this mod. With previous version I couldnt do anything at mcm, i changed the key to strip and stuff, but exit from mcm = default settigns, so i couldnt to anything. With new version this mod doesnt even appear in mcm, so cant use it either. I will be posting papyrus soon, bit bussy right now studying. Sorry for my english.

Type setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1 in the console if a mod doesn't appear in the MCM menu.

These errors basically made me stop with skyrim, image playing the game and being worried about CTD at any minute, plus after CTD you cannot load back, it just crashes again right away. Good to hear this mod has nothing to do with the problem so I can keep it. As you mentioned the MG07 script thing, I found a solution, deleted the script with save cleaner. For now, during the brief time I tested the effect it worked, no more MG07 related error in papyrus log anymore, would suggest others try it if this happens to you. Thanks anyways.
kanne28 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Thank you for this awesome work guys. I have a question (sorry if has been asked before, I tried looking). Is SerialStripper ruled by the NoStrip options? I set some slots as Unstripable but when I use the key for stripping all my items are unequiped. Is there a specific configuration i have to set? Thanks in advance for the help.
Antono Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Hi kanne28, SerialStripper looks both for the NoStrip keyword to avoid stripping items that have it, and for the SexLab configuration to obey its rules. So, if your items have the NoStrip keyword, they will not be touched. Could you post a papyrus log created when these items are erroneously stripped?
Antono Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 New version is up, this time offering the much requested feature of stripping NPCs. SerialStrip v1.1.1-beta - Brings functionality for stripping NPCs (only one at a time - no multithreading yet). SerialStripper v1.1.1-beta - Makes use of SerialStrip's functionality for stripping NPCs. To install the beta versions, please uninstall your current version through the MCM, save your game, quit and then remove the mods. Then install the betas. Currently, SerialStrip only strips one NPC at a time - no mass stripping allowed yet! Once we are satisfied with the way it works and we've made sure that there are no bugs reported from the users, we'll add multithreading support to make it able to work on many actors simultaneously. As always, we are interested in your feedback. Please post your papyrus log along with your bugs.
nutluck Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Interesting, does this play a animation of the PC stripping the NPC or does it just remove the clothes in a poof? Either way great next step.
Ghiva Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Planning on posting changelogs on the first page? Easier to find. At least it's only 10 pages at the moment. Love the mod by the way. Time for me to update and test
Antono Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 Something I forgot to mention: to strip an NPC, put it in your crosshairs and press the button.

nagothm Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Works perfectly on every NPC I've tried. Awesome update!
nutluck Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Ok I ran into a error with the new beta version. The MCM menu shows up but stays greyed out. I waited 20 mins and still the menu stayed greyed out. I tried reinstalling it and forcing MCM to redo and still same thing. Not sure why, here is a screen shot of what I mean.
