m3dicat3d Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 "Big Bottoms, talk about mud-flaps, my girl's got em..." Not a support question really, but I couldn't resist. Is there a possibility that I could load into a city/castle/etc cell where I would see NPCs comforting each once they've reached their threshold? Or are they more private about that? I ask because I'm not particularly fond of that idea, going to Whiterun to sell and Ysolda and Carlotta are having at it to relieve their frustrations at the vendor stand and what have you. Just curious is all. Have you seen them live by the way? I was lucky enough to way back when, hell of a night, lemme tell you...
Quisling Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 Comforting only happens inside and with NPCs who have a sleep period. And they use their beds, so you're really peeping on them if you watch, tbh. I've not seen Tap live, no. Sadly.
m3dicat3d Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Thanks, I appreciate it, looking forward to trying this!
lobof Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 "I've not seen Tap live, no. Sadly" didn't even realize they did any concerts...i always think lenny when i seen their vids
Quisling Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 Stonehenge, live at Glastonbury in 2009. Dunno if they'll do much in the future as they're all pushing 70 now.
lobof Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 yes i'd say about that old, i'm old and their older than me lol, i actually have their original break like the wind cd kicking around here somewhere. got it when it first came out, was one of the columbia house discs that they send if they think you'll like it....and i was a headbanger.
DbleMinded Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I just started having a problem with this mod that I've never had before. Up until recently it was working alright. The save I was using had a male spouse and when my character went to sleep upon waking up a sex animation would begin, without any dialogue. But then I changed to a different save where both my player character and the spouse are both female. What happens then is upon waking up the spouse will say something but no animation will occur. Instead of going to the bed in which the player character used the spouse will go to some other bed in the house and just stand there, at which point both the player character and the spouse becomes bugged. You can speak with the spouse, but they will not move from that location. The player character is bugged as well in that animations are broken. For instance if I have my character sit in a chair they will immediately get back up. The characters I've played recently either were female with a male spouse or had no spouse at all in which case the mod seems to work fine. So I was surprised to find the mod wasn't working as it should when I changed to a save where both the pc and the spouse were both female. I'll do some checking to see if I can find a conflict, but as of right now I have no idea what the problem is.
Quisling Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 <screams internally> Read the troubleshooting section in the OP.
lobof Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 please supply the name of any song by Spinal Tap, otherwise you may not get any help. lol haven't read the op in a while :-)
DbleMinded Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 <screams internally> Read the troubleshooting section in the OP. I don't know anything about papyrus logs or how to get them. Googling the subject hasn't helped much. I looked in my Skyrim folder and I see a PapyrusUtilDev.log, is that what you're referring to and if so do I just copy/paste what's on the log into here?
Quisling Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 Read at the pinned topic in the SexLab Troubleshooting forum entitled "IMPORTANT - SHUT UP AND READ THIS: If you don't include a Papyrus debug log, don't expect help!" If the instructions there don't help, there's a further link in that post to the "SexLab Troubleshooting & Support Guide" which has full instructions how to have Skyrim produce a Papyrus log and where it'll be found. Then, go into the MCM for FLC and switch on debugging output so I can tell what the mod is trying to do, and why it might be failing. Don't post the log in a post, attach it if you can or put in on pastebin.

Quisling Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 Well, I can see your SexLab, Creature Framework and ZAP are out of date... albeit not by much. I can't see any USLEEP debug... do you not have the Unofficial Patches? Or don't have all the expansions? There's a lot of errors from, I think, Paradise Halls - did you remove it and keep playing? There's an error about PlayerSleepQuestScript, which is worrying, as that's part of the game itself. Are you married, or have been, and if so, who to? Also, I can only see a couple of error lines from FLC, which suggests debugging hasn't been turned on...

Also, I can only see a couple of error lines from FLC, which suggests debugging hasn't been turned on... Yes, I have all expansions and unofficial patches. No, Paradise Halls is installed and as far as I can tell works. I use a sleep mod which causes my character to get in and out of bed rather than simply stand by the bed. I suppose that could be causing the script error you're referring to. It's a Steam Workshop mod called "Another Sleep Mod". However I've used it for a long time including with FLC and have had no trouble with it in the past. I've also used FLC and the original mod LC before it without any problems before. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with FLC. I had considered a conflict with the sleep mod but when I disabled the sleep mod the problem continued to occur. I didn't really think there would be conflict between the two since I've used both mods for a very long time without any previous problems. The character I'm currently playing is married, yes. As I said it's a female character with a female spouse, which is Ysolda. The character I was playing previously was a female character with a male spouse, which was Farkas and that works fine although there's no dialogue as there is between the lesbian spouses. The problem only occurs with the female spouse, it works fine with a male spouse or with a male or female follower. For some reason the female spouse goes to a different bed and while I can see her dialogue, I'm unable to respond. I'm assuming the reason I'm unable to respond is because she's too far away. I would think that if a female spouse would bug out then a female follower would too, but nope, it's only the female spouse. Edit: I did turn on debugging. However all I did was start the game, sleep to initiate the problem, then quit. After which I posted the log.
Quisling Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 > Yes, I have all expansions and unofficial patches. Go to Bed on Nexus is more recent, and less glitchy. > I had considered a conflict with the sleep mod but when I disabled the sleep mod the problem continued to occur. I can't recall the options ASM had - but you didn't uninstall or disable it outside the game I hope? > Edit: I did turn on debugging. If not, read this http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console one you've got it up (so to speak) type help 00_Lovers (that's zero-zero, not the letter) this will give you a list of quests. One of them will be called 00_LoversComfortConfig you will need to type it exactly as the case is sqv 00_LoversComfortConfig it will output a few lines, either screenshot (via Steam - the game is paused so you can't take a Skyrim one) or note down the last five. You can also try sqv 00_LoversComfortPlayer and do the same

I'm using the mod Better Vampires which allows me to turn npc's into vampire thralls. I was tired of always having to use seduction on my slaves to feed on them so I turned a couple into thralls and though I didn't notice it at first it appears to have broken Paradise Halls. As for your request for a screenshot I'll do that as soon as I'm able.

Quisling Posted January 16, 2017 Author Posted January 16, 2017 Well, the script's running, but if you can't get the log output working, it's a little difficult to say more. I hope to have a new version out in the next couple of days that clears up some issues I found; whether it'll solve your problem is up in the air though.
Guest Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 I dunno who is the Spinal Tap but I have a weird MCM.
Quisling Posted January 17, 2017 Author Posted January 17, 2017 I dunno who is the Spinal Tap but I have a weird MCM. OK. I'm going to let you in on a little secret: if you ever report a problem - anywhere, about anything - and your entire report is a short sentence, you are basically wasting everyone's time. There's literally nothing I can do with what you've said, and there are so many more fun and interesting things that I can do than spend my time dragging the actual info I would need out of you. I don't ask for a Spinal Tap song because I want to know one, but because it gives me the information that you've read the troubleshooting section, and know that a Papyrus log is the best way to give me the info I need to fix problems. Somehow, you've even managed to skip that, and can't even be bothered to google "Spinal Tap" either. So, if you're not even going to put the slightest effort in, expect the same from me.
Guest Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 What kind of info do you need, Papyrus? It's huge, I don't know how to attach it here. The problem is: Lover's Comfort has MCM sections in the left part of the screen, but they won't open. Everything to the right is blank. I can't see any options or whatever. Just tell me< PLEASE, is it a common place, does anybody have a similar problem?

Just tell me< PLEASE, is it a common place, does anybody have a similar problem? If your Papyrus log is huge, even from just starting a game, you probably have a lot of errors or warnings in it. The second post on this page has two links to troubleshooting help - follow the tips in the first, and look in the second for how to produce the correct Papyrus log. If you want to know if a problem has occurred before, you can search this topic to find out. If it doesn't say "This topic" in a gray box next to the Search box at the top right of the page, click it to change it. If you search for, eg MCM, you may find some similar problems. Do a little testing yourself - start a new game. Does the MCM appear now? Possibly the issue is with the save you used before - do you have a lot of mods installed? Have you uninstalled or updated any recently? When was LOOT last run? If you uninstalled a mod, did you follow the proper procedure and/or use a save cleaner? Try some of the helper mods around: Jaxonz MCM Kicker can be helpful in getting MCMs loaded, and Jaxonz Diagnostics can tell you if there are some issues
Guest Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 Starting a new game is what I do very often. Nope, the Lovers' MCM is stuck. Last time it gave no headers on left. OK, I'll make a research here in this topic by your kind advice. I am back to SexLab Lover's Comfort 2013-12-30This works fine.
