Delzaron Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 to come back to forsworn story. version 1.57 not bsa version : one typing error in dialogue : ask a forsworn chief if there is something to do and he will answer "want do you want to do ?" to change for "what do you want to do ?" quest princess of wolves : i cannot present romula to odoacare. don't know why. tried to follow armin in skirmish for dummies. he stay blocked against the mountain. i tried to bump him to make him change is way but he continue to go straight and be blocked by the mountain. Armin dont understand he can use the menhir just near... just use T wait/sleep. He will be teleported at the good point.

I will add this tot the bug fix list Well, with all due respect to your outstanding work and dedication...I think the mod would profit immensely not only if the various typos and grammar-mistakes are fixed, but if the conversations in general would receive a massive overhaul. As it is now, at least as far as I am concerned, they often feel a bit immersion-breaking and depth-lacking

If someone feels like contributing i can send you a txt file with all the dialogues (temporarily i am doing some work on this mod - guess v1.59 would be mine). When I was trying the mod out I was actually thinking of how best to reword the dialogue. Btw, I'm a bit of a grammar and spelling nazi so maybe I can help

Aqqh > yep. send it to me and i will see what i can list as error for when you or delzaron will have time. I will send you a private message with my email adress. even if i'm not an english native too a second sight can be useful. and even with a native it won't be flawless. it can't be perfect ^^.
Neodarkside Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Ok, so working on the text files, up to the third quest in the main chain, Meeting the tribes and I seem to have found a rather game breaker of a bug. After witnessing the ritual and you speak to Badycia and offered to join the Marses or Sicambres. When you are given the choice to choose between the 2, if you hit Esc or exit out of the conversation Badycia will no longer give you the option and unless you can console command the next step you are completely screwed out of continueing. So need to make sure Badycia keeps the dialogue options available until you make your choice. ALso... is it Marses, a name? Or was it meant to be Marshes as in a swampy terrain?

If you choose to spare Kalydi and have to provide your own blood for the ritual, I would actually make it deal 100+ points of damage, at least 150. Yes that would kill a lvl 1 character up to a level 5 character if they didn't add points to health. Why? Because you deprived them of their sacrifice, and Badycia requests you provide enough blood to cover an altar. Well, Kalydi proved quite a bit of blood, which kinda killed her, well actually the axe beheading her killed her, but still. It should hurt. Yes, someone will complain, someone who didn't save often and spared the persons life, but hey, Badycia said it best, "we're at war." And btw, I have zero sympathy for those who don't save their game every 5 some minutes and use multiple saves when playing with mods... kinda a must.

But having a male constantly humped by wolves, sprigans, werewolves, ... can feel kinda strange. Plus shamans are supposed to be only females.

Found another, went back to the ritual to choose Sicambres side to rewrite it, If you talk to Katalia right after choosing Sicambres she says welcome to Marses and gives you the Marses option to speak to their chief.

Did you use the ATP answer, or the hydromel one ? I tested the ATP one... If you are still not teleported, use console. Maybe I will add a debug menhir for that (people seems meet difficulties with wolves and spriggans dialogues)

One other point, you list XPMS as a requirement. Does this include XPMSE which has practically replaced it, XPMSE is even hosted on the XPMS Nexus page, it is much better, fixing the many issues XPMS has. If not you should use XPMSE as the required skeleton, it should be a direct swap without issue, testing it first, of course. If both are intended it would be best to make that clear. Also XPMSE is required for all HDT Mods and can be used for (T)BBP as well.

aqqh Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Great Mod, nice to see the Nord/Stormcloak/Ulfric hating Forsworn get some modding attention, came to say Rowena Quest is broken but see thats being fixed. it's not broken - its in early stage of development what is completed should work fine but at some point quest would just stop because further stages are not yet completed. Thats why it is not recommended to even start this quest on your serious saves (because atm there is no way to finish it and you will have to go back to earlier save). Btw there is a thing in ravena quest i wasnt able to test myself and it would be nice if someone would be willing to check it a character that conquered the reach for the Stormcloaks would be needed to check it. this quest adds a new guard in Suljunds Sinkhole settlement (a little west of old hroldan inn) if empire controls the reach this guard should be normal Reach Guard - tested it works. If Stormcloaks control the reach that guard should be Stormcloak soldier - not tested, i've never supported the stormcloaks in the civil war... so would be nice if anyone could check on character that has the Reach under Stormcloak control if that guard really is a stormcloak soldier
