As I click the link you posted and go to Cmar's page, I see exactly what you posted. Ahhhhh! But then, I scroll down... next, I see photo's of Cmar's Morphing penis in 4 different shapes and sizes, and a 5th one that shows it erect. Below that are 7 more paragraphs that explain to people who look at more than pictures, about the package.

 

WOW!!! WORDS!!!

 

Next is a paragraph talking about using adult skins and the Map 2 mesh. 

 

Let's continue... shall we? I see some info on compatibility, important notes/ known issues followed by, "PLEASE READ", installation instructions (simple and advanced), lists of compatible skins for both maps, a troubleshooting instruction, 10 paragraphs worth... then 7 more for "if you're still having trouble"... languages, additional credits... 10 update changelogs totaling maybe 20 more of those pesky paragraphs containing WORDS followed by....

 

Drum roll please!!!!!!!

We only have access up to ver399 here (last public build)

 

I have posted the patch notes for ver405 within the last couple pages, but have NO experience with any version beyond 375, so couldn't tell you what's broken still, or what new features work or don't. Good is subjective. The introduction of the 'yellow' dialogue box which was introduced in 375 uses human languages - not simlish, and besides it's intruding nature, takes me out of the game. I don't think this is 'good', and know only more of the same follows in later builds. So what is good for one player, may not be for others....

 

When a player uses a feature, and it either doesn't work, or is incomplete, is this 'good'?

 

You have a couple choices since the wiki is gone, and OnikiKay no longer posts here (probably assumes this is a gateway to the 'paid' releases), you can either pay and find out, or find a pirate version and find out. Either way, it's your best chance to find out what's good/if you like it....

Simlau Isle - The Sim on the right has a new skin (to me) file which has a natural sheen to it. It actually follows the light source which is unusual, like realistic sweaty skin. But I noticed it also affects things like the pants which one can see. Still, it's a cool effect. I thought girls 'powdered' their noses so this didn't happen IRL.

Yep I did walk the dog downstairs and tried again. Still get the privacy pop up. Arousal did seem sufficient since my sim had the aroused icon. Haha nah not interested in the animated bestiality despite how my question may have came off. ?

Well, like me, choose women's clothing and start scanning the pages. I can't input Russian to even begin a search, and didn't realize it was my responsibility to keep a record of any reference I make. I'll just keep my findings to myself so no one else gets disappointed.

I wasn't sure if KW created a privacy issue if a KW enabled animal was in the vicinity with Zoolover enabled. Hmmm, other things to consider - Is the location actually private? Meaning the building is complete with no gaps? I'm reaching for straws here, thinking outside the box as I didn't write the program, I just use it. Not even sure what version you have, or what other mods may interfere. Reset the lot? Disable/reactivate KW? I don't know....

There's only 36 pages on that site for shoes. That should only take an hour or two to click thru, if you focus & look fast... oh, and have a decent connection to the web. But save yourself the trouble. They're not in the Sims 3 Women's shoes category.  I was having trouble sleeping & had lost a set of long boots recently, so looked for some new ones.

 

But, a word of warning:  google image search on that image does bring back one site, that's a Sims 3 site, but the download link you'll wind up at uses ad.fly -- a known source of spyware, viruses, malware, and a site that should never be trusted.  Heck, my browser even automatically blocks those links.  I mean, if you're extremely careful, use a proxy, private/incognito/whatever your browser calls it window, and have decent a/v s/w running, you might be ok.  Lack of trust doesn't mean "never use".  It just means step up your protection a ton.

 

Google's image search, oddly, doesn't return any results on the actual site he got it from.

 

Oh, and if you have a good suggestion on how to organize, and keep track of every single download link to 3000, 4000, or (in landess's case, probably) 10,000) pieces of CC that have been gathered during many many many days of poking around the internet and scrolling and reading and browsing sites, then please let me know, because I certainly can't tell you even the site name where I got 90% of the 3300+ items I have in my game.

 

But, assuming you either can't read russian, or won't use a translator... maybe this was a waste of time, though. And I've actually forgotten whether those were shoes or nylons... probably nylons... which might explain why google's search called them "tights". ? Meh... you should be able to find it.  And if it matters that much to you, you will.

...on the right, there's a menu, expand out TS3's stuff, you'll see this, well, minus the colored lines I added.

 

 

The word directly above that blue line is "clothing".

The 3 links w/ the blue line are women's.

The 3 links w/ the red line are men's.

The 2 links w/ the black line are kids.

 

The links go clothing, then shoes, then "underwear".

 

Down after this is a section for hair, then sims, then Accessories (everything -- almost-- goes women then men... the sims section has celebs first)

 

 

 

Last bit of warning:  the "thumbnail" is not a link to the article.  ?  I wish I'd noticed that earlier. I have several other tabs with only a nice photo of the CC I was wanting to download. meh... like I said, was having trouble sleeping.

 

 

 

FWIW, This post took 45 minutes to prepare.  If you want to mod your game, this is the level of commitment you need to be prepared to exert. 

 

 

Edit:  Add another 40-minutes to that.  When you want something on a russian server, use a russian search engine.  SMH   WTF took me soooooo long to remember that.  Here.  You'll see a link on that site in the results, or, well, I do... and, wonders of wonder... had I re-read what landess had said, I'd have noticed he talked about a creator's name... and clothing... and, well, the mix-and-match set stuff that would've said "clothing" not shoes, accessories.  

 

Once I realized yandex has an image search, it took all of 30-seconds to find the link.  

 

Only "thanks" I want is for the next time someone to not be so lazy and to do all that work themselves.  But that's probably too much to ask.

There's another, using the wayback machine to view a cached version of the wiki.  But that would, you know, take knowing how the web works, and, maybe, having been on it since the time EA was building their Redwood Shores HQ.

 

Another interesting historical tidbit from that time.  I can't recall, exactly, when I got on "the net" but I think it was before this.  By at least a few weeks, if not months.  ?

Think I have this skin, but do not know from where I got this anymore. It's one of my favored because it works fine and the look is absolutely outstanding.

The skin package is called : [cyberryeezus] BES_HIGH GLOS.package  may you can find it on the web. If not, give me a PM. The package is around 90MB.

Exactly that's why I stopped to use premade sims with contend since long. Sooner or later you will face trouble with the game caused by may then double installed stuff without you notice it. I use premade sims up to around 700KB size of the .sim file only. Have premade sims in my archive up to the size of 92MB. Oh man, a lot of stuff must be in there.

AND, such stuff what comes with such sims appear in CAS. So, you can use it for your own sims you create. Then you export this sim and install it in another game where the premade is not installed and the trouble continues...... It took me a long time to clear all this up later on in my games and my self created sims.

Up to now I even do not know about how to create and export sims with all contend included. But I am not interested how to do because of the trouble they can create later if you re-install them.

Okay I got the woohoo to finally work by just using exhibitionist for now. However my sim is never erect (using cmar's morpher). I set the penis to get hard but it keeps going soft. I deactivate all my mods until it turns out it was kinkyworld that seems to be causing issues. Is this related to the arousal meter?

I always convert them to package, then clean them using s3pe. Deleting the CASP tag. The file size is not reduced, but garbage will not appear in CAS.  

But the collapse of the game could not be avoided in the end, only because of my greed .))

You can install google translate as an add-on to your search browser. It will translate the page so you can read it, and reverse translate if you type in English or German or whatever language in the site search box.

I think this is the biggest problem with premade sims. For the sim to look like a person, you must use sliders to adjust appearance. If sliders are not included, the sim looks like normal... if they are included, you may already have that slider and now two... or sometimes clothes, or hair. Besides... for me, creating my own sims is part of the fun.

Make sure that you have all of the Cmar packages that she says you need for your patch, etc... especially the script package. Perhaps delete all from your game, clear the caches and re-install them.

Can't or won't? Did you change any settings recently? At one time, the interactions did work???

Yep I did install the scripts. I should clarify that I do set the penis as hard and I do see it but it goes soft  quickly, so basically I see the penis on the sim erected for only a moment before it reverts to soft. It seems like having the sim aroused does seem to keep the erection however. Can anyone confirm if the arousal is connected to the cmar erected penis showing?

And you are using build 399? Because I think that is the version that had this issue... as it had MANY issues.

I looked at the boots. They are not busted. That is how they are. As I very much want to make "real" glass slippers, I have been experimenting with various shaders, multiplier densities and brightness, specular brightness... many things. I have not found the correct combination to make the appearance of glass... transparent AND shiny. The boots were made with the shader used for transparent garments, which does not show reflections or shine.

I've found using an extremely small world helps when either checking that you have all needed CC for a downloaded sim, or making sure the sim works, or just for making them.  I use this one.
 

 

Now, for the other part.  I seem to have had decent luck, but unfortunately (for both of us) I've forgotten exactly how I did it. But I think this sounds about right.  I recall it being less straightforward as I wanted it to be.

I know I made a full backup of my sims game folder (the thing in 'documents') and I know I use file comparison software to do compares on the dirs so I know what is new.

I also know I exported the sims3pack to remove the packages containing unwanted/duplicate/bad CC.

I'm pretty sure I also moved any packages for CC I needed for that sim elsewhere.

I think I then repackaged the remaining files as a new sims3pack that I then imported to the game. (IIRC should be 1 package, 1 xml, & some images)

I know I used the above world (basically just a small world with absolutely nothing, no trees, buildings, styling, anything, so it loads almost instantly) to verify that I didn't screw up the sim's appearance.

After you get a sim as you want them, then all you have to do is go into the "SavedSims" folder and copy the .sim file to a safe place.

Then you can either completely restore your backup folder, thus deleting any cached/added crap that was installed along w/ that sim or manually clean the DCCache files (instructions are out there somewhere, prob on MTS, but that's time consuming and not as 'safe' as just deleting the folder & recopying over the backup).

Once you get you back to your "pre-new-sim" state:

copy in the .sim file into the "SavedSims" folder

copy into Packages any of the exported CC you kept

load up that test world, create a new sim, choose your new sim, and flip thru making sure you didn't loose/miss any CC.

If everything is good, you're done.  Make sure you have a copy of that .sim file in a safe place, along with the required exported/downloaded packages.

I try to put all the packages in a folder like this:

Packages

    \Sims

        \Doe, John

            \*.package     (for downloaded sims that come in a zip w/ included required CC)

            \Collection 1\*.package

            \Collection 2 \*.package

            \Exports\*.package

Only issue w/ that type of structure is when you have shared collections/items between sims.  I prob should add a "Packages\Sims\Common" folder.

 

I also tend to keep the whole "collection" of CC in w/ the sim, even if the sim only used 1 piece, since I extract w/ the downloaded zip file name as folder, I can often 'google' for that name later if I have issues.

tl;dr:  Yes. Probably.

Just like real life, a dick ain't gonna be hard until the sim is at least "aroused".  At least that's what I've seen in the game.

One other thing, around that, that I've encountered.  If you use a "toilet stall with gloryhole", if you don't change "undress to use toilet" to "always" (default is, I think, "aroused only"), then their dick isn't gonna show thru the hole, as the KW scripting makes them flock to that damn thing constantly, even if they're not aroused, but if you force their outfit to nude, boom they're erect.  So, yeah, kw does some weirdness w/ regards to hard/soft.
