fallenmystic Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 Finally, Alpha4 is ready now! I wasn't my intention to tease you with the release, when I said yesterday that the release is almost done. But I just found couple of issues after that, so I had to spend more time than I originally expected to fix them. Can you believe that the slope objects used by the game to build mine interiors are simply too steep for NPCs to climb up reliably? I pulled my hair out for hours with that problem... urg I'd encourage you to test it and see if you can progress until the last feeding scene at 13:00. Now, it requires ZaZ HDT Workshop, and you need to run FNIS generator after the install as before. And it's strongly recommended to test it with a new game, or at least a clean save. If anything does not work, try reloading from a save and see if it fixes the problem. I'd appreciate if you can report any such problems or confirm that it's working as intended. I think that's a problem on my end - I need to end the blackout. I did not get tattoos. Maybe because I'm one version behind on Slavetats (1.1 instead of 1.1.1). Those ZAZ leg chains are freakin' amazing!

And by 'being black', do you mean it's very dark (like lights are out) or just a black screen? If it's the former, it might be a glitch with the new dynamic lighting system, and it might work alright when you reload. SlaveTats 1.1 will be fine, as I made a workaround for the bug with that version. And I agree 100% about those HDT chains Can't wait to see leash or cuffs version as well!

All the npcs lined up and then kneeled down with arms behind their backs (player too); It got stuck there. Up until that point I had to do a lot of disabling and enabling npcs with the console to get them back on track otherwise they would keep getting stuck during scenes and nothing would progress. Also I can't seem to use the toilet, I activate it and nothing happens. Hrm. I most certainly did use FNIS again after installing the new version + the ZaZ HDT. I did try reloading the save as well as rebooting the game, can't get passed that part . I was able to in the previous build. (this is a fresh save)A side note; I'd be happy to help improve the dialogue, english grammar is my specialty

Honestly, half of the problem comes from the platform itself and I've done quite unconventional stuffs to prevent it from happening as best as I could, but there's still a chance I can tweak specific parts to improve it further. For my part, I normally need one or two reloading or 'moveto player' trick per play through. So if you find you have much more problems than that, then maybe it could be dependent on system load, as the new version is more resource intensive than the previous version, due to additional scripts and shadow lights. By the way, I'd definitely appreciate your help, if you can fix my awful English dialogue. As you can see, I'm not a native speaker of the language, and just barely able to make myself understood in it So what the next step for the mod ? bugfixing and maybe a way out ( after 4-5 days u get released?) I like the mod For the next one or two alpha releases, I'll be focusing in completing the daily schedule. Then I'll add more dialogues and (sexual) contents, and when I'm done I'll try to add an escape option. Thanks for the interest!

I can move, and if I happen to turn the right way, it shows the "Talk to guard" words. Also, starting SoT by the MCM works fine, so I'm sure it's SS blacking out the screen and failing to bring it back. I shouldn't even need to do a blackout for SoT, so I'll just remove it. When I get time to mod again.

The warden seemed to be the one who got stuck, and by stuck I mean he told the slaves to put their arms behind their back, and then kneel down. Usually from there he'd open the door, but would never do it. I didn't try the moveto command, will have to give that a go. I may just start again in a clean save and see how it goes. But yeah even with ResetAi and Disable/enable, he'd only end up directly infront of the door but never continue from there. Apart from that that scene ran correctly as it did in previous builds. Also your English is quite good, but yes I would be happy to help. I'll get on that soon and let you know.

Yes, trying again with a clean save and letting me know if it resovles the issue would be very helpful. By the way, does it happen when the warden tries to open the outer mine room door after the slaves are bound? I'm asking this, because I need to know when does it happens to fix it. The most successful way to handle this problem so far was to replace the default Travel AI package with a scripted one. But to do that, I'll need to know which scene package to replace. Ah, by the way, please check the Papyrus log as well when it happens. It might be caused by an entirely different reason. And thanks again for offering your help! It's much needed

The screams, they were horrendous and my PC died nearly instantly (Lv 1) 3rd time: through MCM, again no dialog, my PC clipped through the wooden support behind the wooden wheel. 4th time: no dialog, PC still dies instantly during the branding, the screams tore my eardrums. I had disabled Deadly Mutilation, but ofc. that didn't remove those screams... 5th time: loaded my save, tried MCM twice, it didn't start the quest. 6th time: restarted the game, loaded my save, starts fine through MCM, TGM for the branding, PC still dies several times before DA tries to kick in. I'm not having much succes getting into the mine.

It seems to me the missing dialogue problem could be resulted from this option being turned off. As to the problem with the branding scene, what camera mode did you use when the PC's got branded? I noticed (and wrote about it in the problems section) that with a certain camera mode, a similar problem can happen, so it might be the same issue with this one. Clipping with the wheel is a known problem with a certain body type. But as it's a problem with ZaZ itself, there's nothing I could do about it. However, I'm considering to replace it with a furniture in the Branding Device of Doom mod, so if I decided that way it won't be a problem anymore in future releases. Not sure about other issues, but I'd suggest looking into the Papyrus log file and see if you see any error messages when it happens. Please let me know if you find anything suspicious in the log file, or above suggestions resolve the issues.

He either runs into the table and gets stuck or he blocks my PC from moving in front of him to continue the scene. I used TC to move my PC and he picked up his scene. - The guard inside the mine gets stuck when he wants the first hand-in. He just stays put indefinitely. I'll have to replay it again and additem an ore to hand in to see if he reacts, but as of yet, 2 days have past and he's still frozen. - Mining the gold vein drains stamina as it should, but I can time-skip 1 hour and it will keep mining without losing stamina. - Going to the toilet works, but after getting off of the toilet my PC holds on to the ZAZ drip and ZAZ pee items. Edit: - The other slaves used the toilet, but one got knocked off by the guard and now it says 'someone is using that' - The guard inside the mine did one ore collection round and got stuck on punishing my PC, also, at 10:10 he didn't put everyone back to work, so he is frozen again.

I'm curious if others see so many problems with stuck actors as well, because I don't usually see it that bad, so it made me wonder if it's somehow related to the load(script lag). Anyway, when a NPC's get stuck, try 'moveto player' first. I think the scene with the first guard need to be revised later, as it assumes the player to be in a certain position without actually enforces it. On the other hand, the guard in the mining room uses mostly the scripted version of the moving package when the ore counting happens, so I almost never see him stuck during that scene. So, it would be helpful if you can let me know at which stage it happens, if you see the problem again. (Or you can take a screenshot) Skipping time by resting or sleeping is not considered in this version. So, doing so will likely to break the quest progression. I plan to deal with it when the daily schedule is complete so the slaves can sleep inside their cells. ZaZ peeing items should be removed as soon as the character finishes peeing (about 7 seconds). You can't stop it before that period by getting up from the bucket. (It will make an interesting scene if the guard whips a slave while its using the toilet) When it's done, the pee item is replaced with the drip item and it remains another 30 seconds or so. If it behaves differently, I suspect there to be an error, so inspecting the Papyrus log might be helpful. No errors though, just lots of NPCs arousing one-another. Well... then I'm still in the dark now I hope to hear from others as to how often/severe they experience such problems. By the way, if you get inside your cell later, you'll get log messages saying even a 'bed bug' gets aroused seeing naked PC. I made them using the Chaurus actor, but never imagined them to have such a fetish regarding a naked human body
