All the others have problems as well, but the bigger problem is that as the Civil War storyline progresses those problems reverse as a hold changes sides, Stormcloaks in Whiterun looking for some nookie is going to get lynched by the Battle-born fanatics, but if Ulfric takes Whiterun then Imperials get the old quartered-by-galloping-horses treatment. It may be easiest to get rid of soldiers entirely and replace them. Even bandits are less immersion breaking, I mean he probably paid off a guard and his armor looks like that of any other hunter or the like, but a stormcloak in uniform in Solitude sticks out like a sore thumb.

Oh also, the essential flag, any chance of removing those from customers? Vampire prostitute gotta eat, and drunken johns classically make the best victims for things like this! Just make them respawn every night instead.

I agree on this one. The only way to "feed" with that flag would be to toggle on "Kill Essential" with Deadly Drain and I hate to mess with that, as I always forget to turn those things off then mess something up.

Posted

Vampiric Thirst can also kill essential, but I'm in the same boat, not something I'm going to risk toggling on then finding out ten saves too late I ate the wrong guy.

Bit of an immersion breaker for me, the Solitude whores got serviced with a lot of horny soldiers. Stormcloak soldiers, in uniform, walking past Castle Dour... Any way of forcing Imperials in Solitude and Stormcloaks in Windhelm?

You had one good point. I already fix it on part  in my game  because i change all the generics names for individual names to the clients and pimps but still exist the problem of the uniforms. I think will change the uniforms of Imperial and Stormcloacks by hold guard uniform but seen  the clients are spawned randomly.

If only could some way for make the clients spawn on specifics holds. Well meanwhile i think i will change the legion/stormcloaks uniforms for something more generic.

Gunfell i only hope dont mean i am editing you mod, i am adjusting to my playstyle and learning to mod in process.

What move pimp and his girls somewhere along the path vedopuci to the city. There is impunity can visit anytime, by anyone.

I don't understand. What do you mean? Can you be clearer?

To the city for whores go bandits, soldiers on both sides and more. If you are a whore in the suburbs. Customer visits will be more realistic.

Um. I'll try to translate.

First of the important part.

Sorry for the English. The translation we used Google. Not speak English.

So with that out of the way... Translation is that the initial idea may have worked better. A whorehouse in the suburbs like Riverwood or Rorikstead would have no issues with stormcloaks and imperials and bandits, it's all just johns looking to get laid. Bring them into the city, and you get a whole lot of suspension of disbelief going on, and that's never a good thing.

Yeah that is a good point as the guard potrolls are fewer. Also if you have the skill, patience, and time, you might want to think about adding lika a small to medium sized building. With one room per girl, and a desk, or other "office" for the pimp.

Another idea to add from the earlier discussion about being able to feed on the girls. If you do kill one you are tasked by the pimp to find a "new" girl (wich is the respawn of the girl) and bring her back to the location where you "disposed" of the other one.

On a side note. This mod now sounds to be evolving into a mod thats about more than just Skooma.

Posted

If you have dawnguard a location that you could steal is the first part of Redwater Den. The skooma den there would work just as well as both a shooting gallery and as a very degrading whorehouse for addicted sluts.

I was thinking that same thing. Just add a few walls with doors and to keep it more in a some what "degrading" add a few "jail bar" walls with cage doors for the more heavly addicted girls. Something like the the more stages the PC/NPC goes through, the more open the room.

The brothel at Mixwater mill is no more. Instead there is now a red-light district in every of the five holds.

Aren't there nine holds? Your current five + Falkreath, Morthal, Dawnstar, Winterhold.

There are, but only 5 major cities. Winterhold, Falkreath, The Pale (Capital City Dawnstar), and Hjaalmarch (Capital City Morthal) do not have walls arround the capital city and where not included in haveing a place. Also those 4 are not truely "city" sized. They are more Township sized, and getting more technical Winterhold is more Village sized after "The Great Colapse".

OMG!

I gave a try of this mod, mainly because I'm interested on the "red light districts" than the whole drug thing.

I installed it on my "stable-as-a-rock" game that allowed me to play even with furious battles for more than 6 hours without problems and ....

5 minutes and CTD.

retry

4 minutes and CTD.

urgh!

Maybe 198 scripts ...

EDIT: Why not a "lite" version with only the districts?

love the red-light district. So far haven't been able to make enough to leave Whiterun yet, but can hardly wait to work in the others.

A great mod made even greater. Thank you.

He was talking about "holds" not "cities" and there certainly was nothing about ad hoc "technical" distinctions between cities, towns, and villages.

I really miss the Mixwater Mill brothel. Maybe, Guffel, you could bring that back while leaving in the red light districts?

I run 252 mods, including this one, it's never caused me a single issue. Either you have something wrong with your game or your have a major confilct with some other mod going on.  Best to use TES5Edit and load your entire load order, and check the mod for conflicts.

Dude give him a break he mis-worded it. If we can't have a type-o now and again, what is the point of typeing at all?

@ volfin

As I wrote, my game is normally stable as a rock, with 120 running mods, at least a dozen about SexLab.

Before installing this mod, I was able to play for hours without issues, freezes, ctd, nothing. Even with terrific battles with dozens of NPCs, even with big orgies with dozen of NPCs.

I installed this mod, then I used LOOT as always, with my personal corrections about "priorities". Then I loaded all mods into TES5Edit (version 32), "without" any warning, dirty edit or something like.

So I started the game, I waited for the MCM registered thing (about 45 seconds as always), I checked the settings without changing them. Saved game with "SkoomaWhore Start" name.

Noticed the drugs in my inventory, placed all them into a cupboard for future use, exit from Breezhome to see the red light district of Whiterun. At the market ... CTD. No more than 5 minutes.

Reloaded the game, some steps as above, exit Breezhome, market, saw the whore near the wall, go near them ... CTD. No more than 4 minutes.

Reloaded again, blah, blah, blah, market, try to talk with Olfina ... CTD. 3 minutes.

Unistalled the mod, clean all, deleted the Start savegame, used the previous. 3 HOURS of gameplay without problem.

So then?

Did you get very close to the whores before all CTDs? Or did they occure regardles of your position?

It sounds like you have some kind of conflict. You get the CTDs shortly after leaving breezehome don't you? Between 90 and 120 seconds after entering Whiterun the first customer would be placed at the gate. Seems like that causes some kind of problem.

Like he said.

Probably one of your rock hard stable mods doesn't like skooma whore.

Try to run it through tes5 edit again and dont just right click check for errors.

Actually check it against your other mods.

"check for errors" only searches internally within a mod to see if there is a problem.

Actually right click skooma whores plugin and click apply filter (NOT "apply filter for cleaning") and check only the stuff checked in the picture below.

Let it do its thing for a few minutes.

Then click the skooma whore plugins [+] drop down and look for any records that are orange, red, or brown.

*edit*

sorry picture is really blurry.

screenshot of a youtube video because im at work and not in a position to take a actual tes5edit screen shot.

Yes, it seems that the problem is due to the client spawning (probably).

After I left Breezehome, I was able, once, even to talk with the pimp because I ran quinckly in the place. After that, few seconds and ctd.

Other times, I walk and I was only able to join the market. Normal run and I arrived near the whores.

@ budroi

I did the check you suggested (apply filter and not "for cleaning") but I used some different settings. I'll try the settings you show in the pic. Thanks.

Strangely enough, I had only few lines marked as "green" and all related to the different language of some names or descriptions.

Green means that Skooma Whore won the conflict.

skooma whore could be overwriting something thats making things unstable.

next time your in tes5edit click on one of the greens then right click on the right pane and click the "hide" option so that it hides everything not conflicting.

It will help focus your search somewhat.

If you have 24 free minutes watch this video

It ultimately covers doing something else but the author spends a few minutes talking about mod conflicts and how to check them in tes5edit.

what you can to to comfirm that is just after leavin breezehome open the console and type in quickly:

StopQuest SLSW_Redlight_Work1
StopQuest SLSW_Redlight_Work2
StopQuest SLSW_Redlight_Work3

You can use the "arrow up" key to bring the previous line back so only have to type it once and only need to chage the numbers. That will stop all the routines controlling the whores suitors. Unfortunately they will restart once you leave or re-enter whiterun. But if you don't get a CTD shorty after its probably the cause.

Last thing before a new attempt:

what is the best loadorder position for this mod, mainly related to other sexlab mods (expecially considering some heavy scripted like SexSlaves [MiasLair], RandomSex, Aroused Redux)? At least by your own experience. TY
