warpkin Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 hey, quite enjoying this mod, the addition of the brews was interesting (suddenly at stage 4 from 1 after one desperate fight...ohh thats what they do...) just want to ask, when trying to go clean, how long are the addiction stage debuffs supposed to remain? maybe a bug on my end but wanted to check, as having made lots of herbal tea and got my 'pools' down (mental and magical into fairly signifcant minus numbers) and physical supposedly down to stage 2 from 5, I'm still saddled with the stage five physical debuff, stage 3 mental debuff and stage one magical debuff (this one was never higher than one anyway) perhaps more worryingly when I tried the 'reset all addictions' option (to test) it did all it was suppposed to (reset pools) but the level 5 physical addiction penalty was still there is this a debuff you can actually get rid of? thought I might mention a couple of minor brothel location conflicts (non LL but pretty popular Nexus mods), legendary cities -Tes Arena, modifies the area around Mixwater mill into a village, and Gilfres house vanishes (except for the door which is still there and functional), and Interesting NPC's has two characters (Morrigan (child) and Griffith) in the workers barracks witnessing all that goes on there as I said only minor, neither stops the mod working. Edit, sory another question, when guards are turning up to give you notice to quit town, should they be turning up in private residences or the Ragged Flagon?

But you made me find a bug though. The dialoug of the dealer still bound via condition to a value that isn't used anymore and can't show up. Tell me, how many Brew and how many Potions did you find? Too much? Equally? The debuffs are linked directly to the pools. So they stay basically forever. But they should decrase stage by stage over time. I admit I forgot to make an update function on the herb tea to adjust the debuffs when nessesary. But ever three game hours the daily recovery is applied (converted to three hours [* 3/24]) and this should adjust the debuffs accordingly. It might happen that the event doesn't call reliably when waiting, sleeping, inventory or else. I'm supprised about the reset option failing. I checked the code and it should get rid of all debuffs and set all pools to zero. I already know about Interesting NPC occuping the brothel^^ But the days of the brothel at the mill are already counted. In the next big update I want to delete it an give a couple of alternatives. uhm.. no, the Guard shouldn't follow you. But yes sure it does if you change the cell before it can reach you. I intended actually that you can hide from them.

nutluck Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Ah ok, I was thinking you could still trigger it by the dealers. For immersion sake as the PC is likely to not be aware of the brothel unless they just happen across it or someone sends them.

Of course Prison Overhaul don´t work... it alters the vanilla scripts and SW alters the vanilla scripts. <.< I´ll restore that too in the fix.

Plaguetard Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 So for some reason when I load a save game where my PC has some suppressed addiction she automatically lays on the ground and I can't move, even with enableplayercontrols, and can't reset addiction in the MCM. If I load a save game prior to a gang rape which is Where the addiction started, it loaded just fine. I'm using the newest version. I tried to see if anyone else was having this issue but didn't see anything. I didn't change a thing from prior save to after save and use MO Any insight would be great.

I have a solution in mind, but it needs too much time for this small fix. If there are no further bugs I'll take a break and then prepare the next, bigger update. So there won't be anything new for at least the next two weeks or so.
nutluck Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 For updating from 9.7 to 9.7a do you need to do a clean save or just uninstall and install new version with mod manager? I have not tried the new update aka 9.7a that brings back the dealer dialogue, but I have a suggestion to add to their dialogue. In addition to trading for sex and if you get addicted enough you can go to the brothel how about adding in a new line in addition to the sex offers. So it looks something like this. offer blow job offer vaginal sex offer anal sex you - Is there any way you can hook me up with a steady supply? dealer - Well if you need it that bad you can head to xxxx(name of brothel) and talk to (name of madam) and tell her I sent you. If your willing to work for it they will give you all the skooma you could want. Anyways just a idea, and maybe you already did that in 9.7a.

Perhaps some of the Skooma Dealers will accept stolen goods, but at a terrible discount. If the PC could fence the goods for 100gp at their speechcraft level/perks if they knew a fence, maybe the dealer only offers 10gp. The PC would need to steal a lot of goods to get another hit, with the attendant risk of getting caught/jailed. Also, when the guards start hassling the PC at addiction level 4, maybe they check inventory also and would find stolen goods, again with jail as a likely result.

This time neither Twig nor Lily told me to leave, but if I clicked on the bed, I was told "You cannot sleep while being told to leave." Even if this problem isn't worth the effort to figure out and fix, I would be curious to know if anyone else encountered "You need to leave" issues?

Waiting via menue doesn't do anything. While in any menue the game and so all scripts are paused. Just let the game run, after max. 10 min real time everything should be gone. I can make the dealers to be a fence but anything else would require changes in the trading system and effect every trader. A follow-up on my "You need to leave" issue. Otherwise nice mod, it makes enslavement and jail more immersive. The last additions (NPC comments, and innkeeper and guards reactions) are immersive too.

For the brothel keep in mind I updated from 9.7 which it didn't have it to 9.7a so perhaps I will have to do a new game for the update to take effect

Is it even possible to use an old safe with the new update? I need to know, because I contstantly get crashes around mixwater mill with the old version. So I either need to update, or skip the whole brother part.

Hey sorry I didn't get back that quickly, did some testing with various save games and found that getting rid of the stage 5 physical was a PITA, a basic reset didn't seem to get rid of it, neither did waiting for 24 hours after the reset, worse if the mod was removed the skill penalties still applied with no method to identify them (although any and all drug affects were obviously not present). This applied even through clean saving only way I found to get it to vanish (and not even regress back to earlier stages) was to reset, drink a purifying solution AND wait for 24 hours, drug pools were then all at -150 due to the purifying solution and the debuff was gone. I did try to also go it through actual game time but the numbers seemed to behave a bit oddly, the pool didn't change (on speed 20) for a whole game day of play time, yet went UP by 6 points when I slept for a few hours despite having no skooma or brews in my inventory, by that stage I had gone through about 8-10 drinks of herb tea and my physical pool was at the level 3 fast level (the others were negative), was stll considerred by the mod to be stage 5 addiction. as I said earlier more likely bugs on my end than actual problems with the mod, please continue working on it *goes off to download update*
nutluck Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Ok I started a new game and once I did the new changes including the dialogue for the brothel from the dealers is back. This time I didn't find any bugs with version 9.7a. The one thing I did not test is really over doing the skooma and seeing if the visual effects get stuck on. I did do enough to get the visual effects mildly but after a bit they went away. The only thing I didn't notice was the mean comments if you was very addicted. Got to max addiction level and never had someone say something, but that might have just been a fluke as I didn't test it walking around very long.

NEITHER! ski_playerloadgamealias.pex comes from the Skyui mod and these mods have both included it only by accident. hello this error was pointed out to me too in my log was just wondering if i need to do something to fix it or if its ok to let it go? ty ty im trying this out for the first time today i love the idea of it. ill attach my log file too. i guess its not the same error but he said the slsw errors are from this one. Siudhne Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 For rape induced force drugging, enemies seem to give you a drug of the "physical" category most often. Maybe there are more physical drugs to choose from and thus the chance of physical drugs applied is increased? Currently I have 250 physical, 50 mental and 0 magical addiction because of this. Edit: It's not that bad that it needs to be changed quickly, obviously, I'd just like to experience one of the other debuffs once in a while.
