Thanks a lot for the upload, it's appreciated. I'll take a look at it.

 

The save was only a level 4 character and I've already restarted the game without DD or SD with a now level 20 character, I'm going to take a look at that version of SD+ and see if it works better for me, it's fairly easily to set up a profile that won't hurt my main game. Like I said I'm not really that interested in DD, I installed it because it was a requirement for SD+ and Angrim's Apprentice which I wanted to use. I'm mostly interested in the other end of things and putting these on NPCs, but there's very little support for that.

The links on the dowload page however don't seem to work. Why? I haven't a clue, i've changed them twice already to the correct address and they still refuse to work. I'm guessing a bug with the forum software.

having an issue with the binders/yokes/steel restraints since the latest updates i haven't been able to track down how many of the anims are affected by it, so far seems almost every sexlab anim is blocked wearing these, the player will attempt to masterbate if wearing a belt or just stand there if not wearing 1, but either way, eventually concedes that you can't reach yourself to masterbate when its intended to be a partner scene, not masterbation, there's no reason for oral scenes to be blocked by an armbinder for example

 

Edit: no idea if color of the item effects it, my preferences on loot are set to ebonite

 

It's not caused by this mod, nor DDi, but by something else.

 

Best bet for finding it: Disable all SL and DD mods you've got except SL itself, and DDa/DDi/DDx, then reenable them one by one to see which one is causing it.

 

actually i've tracked down the issue to the new tagging system with dd providing screen shots from zaz and dd, older dd had a screen to re-register dd's anims, but now its replaced with a button to use bound anims (disabling that fixes the issue), the button statesit will only play those anims as it should and previously would have, but with the new tagging system that means zaz needs anims with these tags

 

i just don't know if its an issue for zaz missing the tags on 6.04 or dd that changed the tags name, maybe they used to all be called "bound" instead of each having separate tags for yoke, shackles, or armbinder

 

Edit: the anims play properly with that bound anim filter disabled from dd's menu - the bound anims play with the filter disabled, but only anim that plays with the filter is a squirming attempt at masterbating with a message that you can't reach yourself with the armbinder

 

correction: tho the anims work with that disabled, some, but not all show the appopriate bound anims for the binders, so far seems only the aggresive anims appear properly

Issue with PatchusMaximus failing while DD Expansion is enabled (v1.2.1)

Created a updated Bashed Patch with all ESPs enabled.

Activate Bashed Patch.

Run PatchusMaximus

I am currently having an unusual problem. Whenever I try to unequip a pair of devious boots, I instead get a popup window giving me the option to put the boots on or carry on. The boot show up on my character, the effects are applied and the inventory screen shows them as equipped, but when I attempt to unequip them the game treats it as if I am attempting to equip them instead. This applies to all boots that utilize devious devices: locked, unlocked, shock, ect. I've already checked and there are no unnamed items in my inventory. Any suggestions?

For some reason harnesses from DDX aren't showing up on my character when they are equipped; they show up in my inventory and the effects are applied when I'm wearing them but the model is invisible. Harnesses from DD Integration are visible however. Does anyone know why and how I can fix it? I'm using the CT77 body that comes with his armor replacer and have the CT77 DD Bodyslide mod from here.

I don't now about the CT77 bodyslide conversion, but you may try Toptoper's DD/DDX conversion here as it is working great for me and I am also using the CT77 body preset (CBBE HDT body however).

 

Bodyslide isn't currently officially supported however, so any problems you have using a conversion should be brought up in that conversion's thread.  The DD creators aren't going to be able to help with problems caused by separate mods like bodyslide conversions.

Yeah, I took a look at toptoper's conversion. It doesn't seem to work with pregnant bodies unfortunately. Also I wasn't sure whether or not it was a conversion that caused this issue.

Have you checked that the device hider isn't active (DD > Devices Underneath (1)) check that Slot 32 doesn't have the Harness/Corset set to hidden

Yep, checked that. I think it is conversion related; I installed toptoper's conversion, and even though it's not fitted to the body I'm using, the harnesses do show up (albeit with a lot of clipping).

Ok great, I was able to get all requirements, now I have a few devious devices installed:

DD Assets

DD Expansion

DD Integration 2.9.0

But every time I load a save, its saying Devious Devices error bla bla, you need to update to the latest version, and I already have! can someone tell me why that is?

No, i cannot tell you what "bla bla" is as you've given me nothing to work with.

 

I can hazard a guess and say you probably need to install/update ZAP, which is a listed requirement of the DDi mod.

you have the right key´s?

 

look you need Rubberesitains Keys for the RubberBoot´s ( incl. the Slave version ).

You misunderstand.  The boots show as equipped and are being worn as normal.  If you try and unequip them the only option you have is to put on the boots, no option to try to take them off, as if they are not already being worn.

With the boots problem you guys are having, have you tried this:

 

Go to any container (chest, barrel, wardrobe, whatever) and put absolutely everything from your inventory in it that you can, except for the boots you're having an issue with. Then try depositing the boots as well. Often that can force locking items to be properly equipped. If it works you should get the unlock etc. options when trying to remove them normally and can retrieve all your stuff from the container again.

 

I remember some suggestions that this kind of problem might be caused by having more than one type of the same device in your inventory (so if you've got more than one pair of locking boots that might be the cause, with the game getting confused as to which are locked on and which are just sitting in your inventory.)

Sounds like a mod conflict, that something you have installed is still using the old boot keyword.

 

It's not a DDx issue, i've started 2 new games since v1.2.1 and i've had no issues.

I tried Mord Sif's suggestion, no change. 

 

Edit:  I disabled and removed all the scripts for all the mods I have that utilize devious devices and the issue still persists.

 

Edit 2: Reinstalling Assets, Expansion, and Integration solved the problem.  It must have somehow installed incorrectly the first time.

Ok, I'm not sure whether this is an Expansion issue or an Assets issues, so I'll be posting in both topics.  Just today I started having the weirdest error, or at least I'm assuming it's an error.  Whenever I get a set of cuffs equipped, my toon ends up with a mismatched set.  As in I'll have a white set on my left side, and a black or red set on the right, or vice versa or any combination of colors.  The entire left side always matches and the entire right side always matches, but they don't match each other.  Weird or what?  I have absolutely no idea where to begin looking, I have Assets, Integration, Expansion, Captured Dreams, Devious Enchanted Loot and Deviously Helpless installed, have already disabled, re-enabled and reinstalled each of them with no change.  Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance.

First, I have to admit that I'm pretty new to Skyrim and modding in general. If I enable this expansion pack, skyrim crashes right after the bethesda logo. I enabled debugging as suggested elsewhere in this thread, but it only has a couple lines in the papyrus log:

First thing you need to know in moding skyrim is that crashes at the launch logo means that you are missing a required mod, if you're having a hard time finding the missing mod try using tesedit5

A crash at that specific point certainly suggests a missing master or a load order problem. At that moment all your mods are loading in, and if the game gets to a point in your order where something can't load properly it CTDs. I'd also suggest installing and running TES5Edit. When you fire it up it will load up all your mods just like the game is trying to do when you're crashing, and when it gets to something that won't work it will stop and you should be able to see what the problem is.

 

For reference, the relevant masters for DD Expansion I have in this order:

 

Skyrim

Update

hdt High Heels*

Zaz Animation Pack

SexLab

SexLab Aroused

DD Assets

DD Integration

 

*Hovering my mouse pointer over the DD Expansion esm in Mod Organizer (which shows you its dependencies) does not show hdtHighHeel as a required master, but it should be, so be sure it's in there.

 

Also, make sure you have each of these dependencies installed properly with their own dependencies installed.
