Just wondering this, is there a reason that Item is the default instead of Actor? 

 

In early days the actor exists, but it was just a stupid already 6 year old actor that spams Skyrim....

And the Baby Item was a cute little thing :)

The Skill Tree is new... and I'm already working on features for the baby item so i've decided to keep it on Baby Item... maybe somedays it will grow after a few days or give some magic effects

 

Sorry if this has been ask but I didnt see it and there seems to be no search option for the forum.

 

My kids/followers skills are a bit wanky the heal perk keeps clear itself back to 0 and giving the points back and the exp goes negative sometimes. 

 

I s there a command I can use to set the exp back to >0?

 

Hm, don't remember anymore what kind of cheat settings I've added .... there is a level up cheat but maybe a reset cheat too..... well, otherwise I will add it

 

Hey millzschnitte, during the menstrual phase, there is no blood drips or blood on legs effect occuring at all throughout the duration of the phase. Is this supposed to be like that? Because the screenshots show the blood.

There should be blood.... around 5 times a day for a few seconds.

Can't say why you can't see it but I will take a look on it - maybe I will find something

It was on the menstrual cycle for about 2 days and there was nothing happening. Do I need to manually turn it on to see the effects?

CTD ISSUE ON SUBSEQUENT LOADS

 

Has anyone reported CTD problems with loads? It happens on subsequent loads (e.g. already playing for a while, then loading a save game). It's a bit hard to reproduce since it doesn't happen every time. There's some randomness involved and only occurs after playing for a while.

 

I'm not sure if it's related to all the variable errors BeeingFemale produces on load. I'm also not sure if it's related to my settings. I tried to disable all options for follower and NPC support, though there is one option that cannot be disabled (bug reported here).

 

I'm using 2.4 Fix 3 and have it correctly installed with ModOrganizer. I also did some testing and it does not seem to be an issue with the Addon options nor Addon esp--disabling them did not fix the issue either.

 

I'm also confident it is from this mod as I did a clean install (using the savegame tool) and the CTDs no longer occur on subsequent loads.

 

It'd be great if this can be fixed as I want to try this mod, but the CTDs on subsequent loads is too much to handle.

 

 

 

Tested again. Still CTDs on subsequent loads even if I leave default MCM options.

 

Papyrus Logs

Papyrus logs aren't helpful either. Last line is the standard "Reverting game..." output that occurs when loading saves.

 

Memory Blocks

I did notice a bug jump in memory block usage during CTDing loads though. This seemed to occur on CTD only. On non-CTD loads, the memory usage does not spike like that. In this particular case, I was loading a quick save I had made a few seconds prior, and normally that does not result in any change in memory block usage.

 

Note: I'm using the SKSE memory fix (and tested it to work), so the memory block usage is not causing the CTD. But the unusual jump in memory block usage during such loads occurs before the CTDs.

Edit: Okay, the memory block usage spike doesn't always occur on the crashes...

 

I did notice another related thing though. When saving causes the game to freeze for an extended amount of time, that's generally an indicator that attempting to load any save will cause my game to CTD.

 

Pretty sure I'm having the same problem.  Random CTD's with no obvious cause (or repeatable cause) and a metric butt-ton of "Variable not found."  I am going to do some testing tomorrow without BeeingFemale ("Beeing" why two b's?).  

 

Also, I can't seem to get Papyrus running.  I enabled it in skyrim.ini, but the logs never show up, even when I use the "DPS" console command. 

 

Will keep in touch and post my findings.

I've started getting insane save game bloat lagging the hell out of my game... I tracked it down to beeing female.

 

For days i've been using the mod and everything was fine. For most of the time I was not pregnant, then I did get pregnant and I know for sure that First trimester at least for a while was okay.

But starting yesterday, the game started to lag like crazy. for every real time minute or so spent in-game, another thousand or so scripts from beeing female get added to my save resulting in a few MB size increase. My saves of a constant 10-12MB for hours suddenly reached 50+MB in minutes.

Save Cleaner crashes with that size, but I reverted to an earlier save that's "only" 34MB and... it has a staggering 5700 scripts from beeing female.

 

In MCM I can't even open the Information tab, it just locks out the mcm menu and I must close it.

Reset and Uninstall didn't fix the problem. It had been tracking 120 NPCs, after reset it dropped to 2, but no apparent effect on save game size (or number of scripts).

 

i attached the save in case you want to analyse it yourself.

Don't be fooled by the zip size, because the scripts are so similar, it compresses well.

Edit:
I loaded an older save (1 hour-ish older) which was unafected and continued to play from there. Hour later it's still working fine.
i don't know what, but SOMETHING happened to cause that problem.
 
 
Does the Beeing Female 1.14 Estrus Chaurus Integration Patch by any chance work with the latest versions of Beeing Female and Estrus Chaurus+ ?
Or is there a recent integration patch somewhere that I missed?

This is a patch for Beeing Female - posted here by kind persmission of milzschnitte,

 

This Version supports BF V1.14 Only

 

Required Mods and Versions

 

Beeing Female 1.14 (and it's requirements)

Estrus Chaurus+ 3.36  (and it's requirements)

 

The patch fixes handling of Chaurus Oviposition with Beeing Female, the changes are pretty simple (as are my coding skills!).  

 

Features

  • Beeing Female will now recognise Chaurus attacks on females and trigger the Chaurus implantation effect
    • Having Chaurus eggs implanted whilst pregnant will KILL  the unborn child resulting in a miscarriage starting a few hours after the Chaurus eggs are "Born"
    • Having Chaurus eggs implanted whilst NOT pregnant will result in a menstruation phase starting a few hours after the Chaurus eggs are "Born"
  • The BF timer function bug caused by EC is fixed
  • If you are using devious devices and an actor is wearing a chastity belt/harness they will be protected from the Beeing Female Chaurus implantation effect.

 

To repeat - being implanted with Charus eggs will terminate any current pregnancy. If you don't want to lose that precious baby you probably shouldn't be fooling around in Bug infested caves!   ;)

 

Because I am triggering the EC effect from within Beeing Female it operates independently of EC's Actor events framework - this still needs to be installed because it is an EC master but it's use can be safely set to false in the EC menu thereby improving compatibility with defeat or other similar mods. If Actor events is disabled in EC then Sexlab driven events will be the only trigger for oviposition, chastity belts will protect against oviposition and tentacle spit attacks will no longer happen (I am working on another use for tentacles though - more news on that at a later date!)

 

Basically I am writing patches to  learn some papyrus scripting and (hopefully) to add immersion - I'm sure it could be done at lot better, but this seems to work.

 

To use install over Beeing Female 1.14  You should see a patch initialised message...  (NMM or Mod Organizer recommended for installation! )

 

For the avoidance of doubt, I am an amateur at modding and this unofficial patch is provided "as is " to use at youir own risk!

You have totally wrong load order.

Run LOOT on it, and you have mods that needs to have one Bashed Patch. Head over to nexus and get Wrye Bash to.

 

Your save it heavy bloated to, and you have forgot to include the *.skse file, that comes whit the save.

Also get rid of Estrus for Skyrim it's very buggy and will spam your papyrus log to hell.

 

You don't need it to run Estrus Chaurus +, as EC+ only uses the assets, so you can either deactivate zzEstrus.esp or remove it entirely. Using a savegame cleaner might be a good idea but they can't perform miracles, so always keep a backup if you do.

Thanks for the Estrus tip, I only have it for EC+

 

But as i've said reverting to an older save and continuing from there bypassed this problem altogether.

This is my latest save (which i'm playing), at least 5 hours of playing later. I uploaded to provide a baseline of sorts with the same mod setup and character in case it makes it easier to find where the problem started.

You should not use loot that are bundled in MO, you should use the stable stand alone.

The one that comes in MO are the buggy one, not stable one.

I have had that happen too. The freeze when sleeping/waiting/change map is really just a 1 min-ish wait for the scripts to do something before the auto save.

It started after a changed an option but I cant remember what. If you get that freeze again try doing something else for a few mins to see if it pulls though.

 

As far as the load order MO and loot seem not to work well I have to reorder stuff all the time, so it's good to know its not just me on both these things.

 

I think the option was when I changed item to actor.

 

I think I have found the problem and it isn't this mod. I updated to the new SKSE using MO and never added the SKSE.ini... Ooops.

Is the Mod deinstalled, there are no "errors" more in the Console.

 

I have installed this mod and the AddOn

This is still being tracked down.  This only happens once when you load a game up.  It dosn't seem to have any negative impact on the mod or game play.

Also, there has been a update to BFAP 1.2.1.  Here is the link to it. :)

Funny I got one on my orc male before I got one on my Nord female. lol.

Question is.. what can I do with this skill tree? Am I expected to take this strapping young lad on adventures and risk his life so he can level up? Or is that not planned yet?

yes she/he can follow you around. And will lvl up and you can give them some armor to and better weapons the more they lvl up.

the * button on the key board.  I am sure if you tap it once it displays then fades away.  If you hold it down about 8 to 10 seconds it will display more

Great mod and it works well also, I have used it many times with very few problems. I am using the RCOTS patch and I love the kid system you have built, the more I use it the more impressive it becomes, I wish a system like this would be in place for regular followers so you could custom build them as you want.

 

Anyway now for my question, I like Redguards and Bretons, these are 2 of my most favorite races to play however when I use these the children I get from a birth are the vanilla kids and not the RCOTS models, is there a way to point these races children to the RCOTS human child or change this somehow?

I did some checking in CK and it seems that it is one script missing in the dialogue.

The script it try to call is.

_BFChildDialMayGoToDad

Instead of

_BF Go to mom script.

I cant find it in the dropdown box.

Oh and there are some issues in BFAP to, you cant update bellynode on one follower if you are male.

I have several of chars and they are female and males, it should be nice of some basic works.

Like sending them to the other parent.

You meen the Napkin Widget? This is a realy annoying widget :) It's planed to make a disable function for it.

I don't know if this question has been asked before, if it has I apologize, I don't have the time (or patience), to dig through all the comments on this.

I know you can set the baby spawn inside the MCM menu to item/actor/soul stone. If you have it set to item, and you receive the baby item in your inventory, does the baby "grow up" to a child after an amount of time passes, or should I just set it to actor and have my character give birth to a fully developed child? (Somewhat immersion breaking).

 

Children won't grow up. This would make Beeing Female way to script heavy. Skyrim isn't made for something like that. There are some work arounds but no real solution.

But I'm on it.... maybe I will find a nice way

 

Hi, quick thought/question I just had. Is it possible to have the child after being alive for say, 5 in-game days to possibly de-spawn and re-spawn as an adult instead of being a child forever? Or would that make the game to script heavy?

 

I was thinking about it. It's not as difficult as creating grow option to baby items.

But there are some problems too.... like how to make it compatible for race addons like the RCots children, and stuff

I won't. In the old beta thread it was discuted and it makes to many problems. But there are some mods out there (you can find a link to them in the opening post) that adds the items to stores.

 

So... do the children come in different races to match the parents?

 

When you are using the RCots mod that adds Khajiit, argonian, ... children to skyrim it's possible. There is an AddOn for BeeingFemale that makes RCots and Beeingfemale compatible.

 

Maybe there's something wrong but for the rcots child add on, child that being born is it only static for now? I mean same face and hair preset for all the child? The hair color do change though.. (2 follower give birth at almost same time, one of them is my child the other one is not ) <<I play male character

 

It will be awesome if the child can generate their own face & hair preset based on the mother and father in the future.. :P

 

Also, one of my follower being raped by bandit while we traveling together.. :( (sand of time mod spawning whole army of bandit and ambush us.. damn! Couldn't save her at all)

So, after 3rd trimester she deliver the baby at our Lakeview manor, but the baby is static. I mean he/she never move on their spot at all.. just standing there and do nothing, unlike my own baby after being born..  walk around the manor, sleep and eating. Is it a bug or is it not implement anything yet ?

 

Like it was said before. There are things that aren't done yet. It's hard to make a follower script to a list of variable character.

 

How long does it take the baby to turn into a child? I slept for like 15 ingame days and I still got 3 babies in my inventory .-.

 

They won't. It's to difficulty. You must set the option "Child actor" in the MCM Menu

 

Do you plan to make the support of all the creatures and monsters as done in Fallout NV? :)

 

There is an AddOn System for that so everyone can create such features.

There are to many creatures and other races and stuff to make them all by myself compatible with BeeingFemale.

I don't know if this question has been asked before, if it has I apologize, I don't have the time (or patience), to dig through all the comments on this.

I know you can set the baby spawn inside the MCM menu to item/actor/soul stone. If you have it set to item, and you receive the baby item in your inventory, does the baby "grow up" to a child after an amount of time passes, or should I just set it to actor and have my character give birth to a fully developed child? (Somewhat immersion breaking).

 

Children won't grow up. This would make Beeing Female way to script heavy. Skyrim isn't made for something like that. There are some work arounds but no real solution.

But I'm on it.... maybe I will find a nice way

 

Hi, quick thought/question I just had. Is it possible to have the child after being alive for say, 5 in-game days to possibly de-spawn and re-spawn as an adult instead of being a child forever? Or would that make the game to script heavy?

 

I was thinking about it. It's not as difficult as creating grow option to baby items.

But there are some problems too.... like how to make it compatible for race addons like the RCots children, and stuff

I won't. In the old beta thread it was discuted and it makes to many problems. But there are some mods out there (you can find a link to them in the opening post) that adds the items to stores.

 

So... do the children come in different races to match the parents?

 

When you are using the RCots mod that adds Khajiit, argonian, ... children to skyrim it's possible. There is an AddOn for BeeingFemale that makes RCots and Beeingfemale compatible.

 

Maybe there's something wrong but for the rcots child add on, child that being born is it only static for now? I mean same face and hair preset for all the child? The hair color do change though.. (2 follower give birth at almost same time, one of them is my child the other one is not ) <<I play male character

 

It will be awesome if the child can generate their own face & hair preset based on the mother and father in the future.. :P

 

Also, one of my follower being raped by bandit while we traveling together.. :( (sand of time mod spawning whole army of bandit and ambush us.. damn! Couldn't save her at all)

So, after 3rd trimester she deliver the baby at our Lakeview manor, but the baby is static. I mean he/she never move on their spot at all.. just standing there and do nothing, unlike my own baby after being born..  walk around the manor, sleep and eating. Is it a bug or is it not implement anything yet ?

 

Like it was said before. There are things that aren't done yet. It's hard to make a follower script to a list of variable character.

 

How long does it take the baby to turn into a child? I slept for like 15 ingame days and I still got 3 babies in my inventory .-.

 

They won't. It's to difficulty. You must set the option "Child actor" in the MCM Menu

 

Do you plan to make the support of all the creatures and monsters as done in Fallout NV? :)

 

There is an AddOn System for that so everyone can create such features.

There are to many creatures and other races and stuff to make them all by myself compatible with BeeingFemale.

How can I free my poor character from her first labor pains three days after giving birth? (I must admit that I rushed her through birth by waiting and sleeping cause I didn't want to waste my time watching her suffer, so I guess it's all my fault but help, please. :) ) i have already reset her and every NPC AND the mod itself but the debuff doesn't go away. And I don't want to deinstall the mod cause I want to keep the child.

Try waiting a bit on game untill it vanishes.... i guess

Well, my toon got enslaved by SD on a vampire den, unfortunately one month on enslavement made her pass from master to master untill she was able to scape, Lydia, Anneke, and Uthgerd got pregnant on the way, she became a blacksmith and courier (Jobs of Skyrim) and made a lot of coin from potions too, 2 months of pregnancy avoiding fights on closed places, always on horse to scape swiftly, naw the child has born, and is a cool fighter, armors and weapons can be given to him to use it as he see fitting, the perks are awesome! and those interactions of play tag or hide or seek are cool, is an awesome work, cant think on my playtrought without it
