To clarify what I meant with redesign: I can't alter the existing sytem. That's part of DDI and Min's turf to design. But any crafting system for Cursed Loot's custom item keys would be using a substantially different, more complex one. It's something I can see me doing down the road, but I haven't a firm idea how to design it. However, I -do- plan to introduce escape mechanics not relying on sheer luck for all my items eventually. The next patch will introduce the first of that series and it's for the yoke. It's not crafting, though. :)

there appears to be an issue with this mod causing graphic errors to the heads of the Nord race. male nords heads didn't match their bodies, while the female nord head will coloured in a shade of blue. This only happens with the nords summoned by the flash bang traps and female nords in the character creation menu.

It would certainly be a cool touch if there was an alternative option to rooting around for specialty keys, if you wanted to try to avoid things spiraling out of control and having your character get tied up even worse (or better!) in the process.  One idea would be to have blacksmiths give a mini-quest to clear a local dungeon for a cursed soulgem or something required to forge the key, which would be a guaranteed way to obtain the key but not fulfill the other random requirements.  That was a fun touch to the cursed collar quest line where you are required to play the game in a compromised state.

 

Of course, that idea probably isn't nearly devious enough for this mod....

Yes, that's a known bug and will be gone soon. :)

Strangly i could not recreate any freezes this time. For 3 events trigered 2 last played normaly and 1 st spawned three bandits who just stood around me and were not hostile. Sadly 3rd event blocked any future events from trigering  (probably even worse then ctds, only fix i found is to realod save before the buged event). Noob question about papyrus log: I changed values in my skyrim ini to bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1, but do not see any logs. Does skyrim have to actually crash for papyrus log file to apear?

Logs don't go into the game's installation folder, they go into \Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs

also, when wearing high security everything is like playing the game with a walking safe: nobody can do anything sex related to you (beside boobjobs) and that kinda boring.

well there are still the plugs effect, but it's really not much.

 

would it be possible to spread special keys to attackers too so there would be a chance to get ungaggeg/unbelted when assaulted? (and of course re-equipped afterward)?

this is implemented for normal device key, but not for specials item (slave/cursed/highsecurity), or at least it doesnt, as no attacker has ever undeviced me when wearing a special device.

That's true, while the bandits sometimes do unlock custom belts, they don't do with the custom items so far. I will think about it. But being safe from getting raped is one intended effect of wearing locked chastity gear and that they can't do anything with you is pretty much what you want, so I don't want to trivialize this function of chastity items either.

yes and no: that would be the intend of the Captured Dreams Protectors which are effectively intended to get equipped intentionally by the player to protect itself, the purpose of all other device is more of a restraining/punitive kind and having other equipping/unequipping them is more logical, in my opinion

Version 4.0

- Added: Vicious plants!!! Life in Skyrim got even more dangerous for women in Skyrim. Reports have it that several female harvesters got attacked by tentacles when trying to gather herbs and fruit. And other evil things. Such as some plants apparently being poisoned with substances causing hallucination and addiction when inhaling them. And the ever present bandit meanies even trap some of them with these flash bang grenades of theirs.
- Added: Mined Mines: Who said it's only plants and that mines cannot be minefields, rather? Don't feel safe anywhere!
- Added: SD+ Enslavement Integration. Some attackers now don't stop at merely using you after stunning you with a flash bang grenade and letting you go afterwards. Some of them might just decide to keep what they got and lock you into slavery while they are at it. This feature is currently experimental, so expect issues.
- Added: SD+ Spriggan Infection Integration. Some plants might infect you with poisonous spores and trigger the SD Spriggan quest. This feature is currently experimental, so expect issues.
- Added: Skooma Whore Integration: If you have Skooma Whore installed, you can now get force drugged with any drug from this mod during solicitation and from poisoned traps.
- Added: Gas traps: Containers can now be rigged with gas traps that will explode in your face when you try to manipulate them and force drug you with regular Skooma or one of the Skooma Whore drugs, if the mod is available.
- Added: Night attacks: Characters can no longer sleep safely, anywhere. Except in jail if you consider getting locked up an alternative in exchange for a good night's sleep. Evil bandits might find you while sleeping and take advantage of you. (Yes, in case you wonder, this feature got included because Dangerous Nights is now officially discontinued and adding it cost me just a handful of lines of code and half an hour of work, for I had basically everything needed for it anyway.)
- Added: The "Courier in Chains" quest. Ever felt frustrated because some evil person put you in a yoke and you spent hours scavenging for a key only to have some moron take it away from you instead of helping you? There is an alternative now! When you talk to one of the businesspeople of Skyrim while wearing a yoke, they might offer you a job instead. Do you dare delivering a letter to a far away corner of Skyrim in exchange for your freedom? But make no mistake: Your employer -will- insist that you finish the job and add their own locks to your yoke to make sure it won't come off unless you finish what you start. Failure is not an option!
- Added: MCM slider for setting the chance to get impregnated by Estrus attacks triggered by Cursed Loot.
- Added: Toggle for the "no wearing armor when soliciting!" feature introduced in 3.4, which is set to "disabled" by default.
- Added: High Security Yoke and the option to always replace the High Security armbinder with the yoke.
- Added: MCM sliders to set the bonus solicitation chance in inns as well as the share of your tip they are going to keep.
- Added: The safeword now removes items from followers, too.
- Added: "Drop all keys" button. Does what it says. Useful when wearing a slut collar and other situations when you actually -want- to be tied up.
- Added: Selfbondage button. Press it if you are ready to lock away your own freedom and complete the next leg of your journey in chains!
- Added: If a torch is carried when a cursed event triggers, the torch will be unequipped to inventory.
- Added: Keys are now getting removed from mounts, too.
- Added: New MCM banner by Naaitsab. \o/
- Added: Some quest items now have safeguards to prevent unauthorized removal by third party mods and breaking their quests in the process.
- Changed: The tip for solicitation can now be set with two separate sliders indicating the lower and higher margin, which offers more control than the former average value.
- Changed: You can now initiate the solicitation dialogue with another potential customer even when not having collected the payment from the last customer. You can however not collect payment from the first customer if you already served someone else in the meantime!
- Changed: The worn restraints threshold now applies to all events, not just standard items. Characters might still lose their keys, though.
- Changed: The minimum cost per level for removing high security items is now 50 (decreased from 100).
- Changed: Wearing jewelry is now allowed by default when wearing a cursed, slave or slut collar.
- Changed: When people add items on you or lock you in yokes, your MCM settings will now be used to determine whether or not you lose your custom keys. They will always take away yoke keys when you get locked in a yoke, and always take your standard keys when they lock you in standard items, though. It would be sort of pointless to restrain somebody and let them keep the key, no? ;)
- Changed: The cursed collar now uses the shared settings for allowing jewelry.
- Changed: Decreased default values for the slut collar's escape requirements.
- Changed: Renamed Yoke Key to "Heavy Yoke Key" to minimize confusion about what this key actually unlocks.
- Changed: Changed dialogue topics for high security removal and solicitation to clarify what they do.
- Changed: Flash-bang scenes: The tie up on rape setting now respects your device settings and won't equip items on you that have been disabled in MCM.
- Fixed: When a slave/slut/cursed collar is equipped while a wrist-restraint is already worn, the character will automatically remove her clothes, for the player will be unable to do so.
- Fixed: Grey heads of custom characters should finally not be grey anymore, now that I really included -all- files the game needs. :s
- Fixed: If a Yoke is rolled while arm cuffs are worn, the game now -properly- tries to unequip any generic arm cuffs.
- Fixed: Default key drop chance for the Aradia Parasite Harness is no longer zero.
- Fixed: Default weight for Slave Belt and Shock Boots is now also 10 as with comparable items.
- Fixed: The safeword now also removes the High Security Harness and Panel Gag.
- Fixed: Corrected borked properties of the High Security Bra and Panel Gag.
- Fixed: Cursed and High Security harnesses now properly prevent wearing armor.
- Fixed: Shackles should now properly prevent followers from fighting.
- Fixed: The game no longer selects the slut collar as punishment for failed solicitation when the character is already wearing one.
- Fixed: Dismounts are now forced only when a collar scene is actually happening.
- Fixed: Workaround to make removal of Cursed set items more reliable (and much faster) at quest end.
- Fixed: Some dialogue choices after solicitation that didn't reset the appropriate parameters.
- Fixed: Cleaned and improved animation selection for SL scenes.
- Fixed: Cursed and High Security Armbinders no longer trigger the "Sharp Item" dialogue.
- Fixed: Removed some deprecated scripts.
 

Upgrading from 3.x to 4.0 should be safe. Upgrading from 2.x to 4.0: Starting a new game is still highly recommended!

Should be fine, although I can't say I ever tested that. If you try it, keep the last save before upgrading, just in case. :)

Nice just saved me another esp I tend to run close to 255 and every slot is valuable just reloaded the game from scratch to try to fix some glaring issues/clean my hd out of old mods in nmm/unused mod files in my install cant wait to play around with this.

Looks great so far, but I have a question.  I was playing with some of the settings to see what they do and look like.  For me, when the High Security Harness gets equipped, the characters body disappears.  Hands, head and feet are there, but no body.
