I have not heard of anyone needing something like that before. Is your character really at least level 3 and no quests from DCL ongoing? Also if you haven't changed MCM settings, you must have certain level of arousal before traps trigger.

 

But what you are asking for is "Free me!" option. If it stops a quest you won't be able to start one a second time, so don't think of it as reset. It's the "big red break the glass and hit switch on absolute emergency" - button ?

Yeah I'm level 10. I have all the likelyhood modifiers set to 100% and the arousal modifier set to 0. Still no traps or anything activate.

Sorry for double post. It wouldn't post in my post above when I tried to edit. This isn't 100% true. At one point when I was new to the mod and trying things out, I was doing the bound queen quest, hit 'free me' to get out of some difficult bondage I got myself into, not realizing it would cancel the quest, and re-reading the book restarted the quest.

Might want to look at the "Debug: Strip All" option. Every time I've used it skyrim crashed. Not sure if it's just my system or a new bug but I though that I should list it.

In some cases to reset stuck event triggering you may need to use it more than once.

Hi,

 

I really like your mod so far (what I can see of it), but I'm having some pretty big issues and I can't seem to figure out how to fix them (it's probably something simple that I just don't realize..).

 

I've been away from Skyrim for a couple years now and had a dozen or more mods installed prior to stopping playing back then. Now I've gone and installed your mod and all the requirements it listed, etc.

 

The issues I'm having vary a little, but here's a rundown of what I've experience so far:

CBBE body disappears entirely when certain restraints are added (hobble skirt is one for sure, and I think maybe other "all over body" outfits too?). When the body disappears I can't see whatever is being put on it either (so the hobble skirt, etc., is invisible as well).

Some cuffs I can see on the ankles. Some cuffs I can't. Most cuffs I can't see on the arms (although I did just have the yoke tonight for the first time and when the yoke got added I could then see the arm cuffs. Entire body was invisible though).

The head never disappears so far, however.

I've had a couple times where the cuffs showed up but the feet and or hands have disappeared.

Gag and blindfold appear to work nicely.

 

Any ideas where I can look to get this working? Please let me know if more information is needed and I"ll try to get it.

edit: I'm using Vortex for mod managing and have installed all the mods using it this week. (previous mod manager used a couple years ago was NMM). I've also run through LOOT (after reading about it here).

It looks like you forgot to run BodySlide and batch build all the items. BodySlide (for items) and FNIS (for animations) are mods that each gives you an executable to run after being installed, and you should run these executables after having installed all your mods. [I am not sure about Vortex, but since it is kinda a new version of NMM, I suppose it will have a shortcut to these things somewhere]

Vortex lets you set a shortcut on it's dashboard for both Bodyslide and FNIS.

FNIS is normally run automatically during deployment if it is needed, but that is optional.

Ah, bodyslide. I'd read about that here and tried running it when nothing else was working to fix these issues, but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do with it :(

FNIS, that part I was running as instructed. At first it was giving me a couple errors, but I got those straightened out eventually. :)

Cant seem to get my game to load a new game or a saved one. Got it running once, now it crashes when it loads.

It is the big button labeled "Dashboard" on the left.

Sure sounds like you let Steam update your game before you were ready. Tsk tsk. SKSE64 has to be correct for the version of the game, and every Data/skse/plugin dll has to be updated too. Most of them probably are by now. And of course don't try to use the LE version of DCL on Skyrim SE. But that goes without saying.

It seems to me that those plugins are not updated yet for the latest SSE or SKSE. So your only solution may be to try and revert the Skyrim version, and i suppose that's not possible. Just make sure you at least now set Steam to not automatically update it!

Chief, it's up to you to set up the mod the way you like. Don't ask Kimy to massively change a mod of this complexity because you don't want to set quest weights to zero and uncheck or check boxes.

I'm trying to figure out how to do Bodyslide. I ran the batch build thing, but it doesn't seem to be affecting things in game (I'm probably doing it wrong). And bodyslide appears to crash on the parasite ones every time (at least, the bodyslide exits when it gets to those).

DCL 8.3 is really really hard fun when set up properly.  It gets to the point, in some circs, where you literally have to continuously think out every 400 yards or so ?    Which makes it a real teaser

 

Two quick queries, please, tho'?

 

1 - 'Lost' gear

 

I inadvertently got sucked into Southfringe Sanctum and Bashnag stole my armour and weapons etc, then decked my PC out in a load of restraints, plus a DCL Slave Collar, and then sent her off to fight the horde of nasty spiders

 

I didn't manage to get her back to kill the swine, as she was trussed up like a dummy in a fetish shop window, but is the 'gear' gone for good?  If I go back, and transform Bashnag into eating material, will he have all that stuff in his inventory?

 

Reason for doubt is that I had a similar experience when finishing the Cursed Collar quest, when just before the final exit from the deep dark cave (or whatever it's called) the last stage nicked all the PC's stuff, and the geography of the location prevents going back for it.  It seemed gone for good

 

I don't mind if it's gone.  Arguably adds to the challenge, but it would be good to know if this is intentional, as in most mods and other circs, suchlike is usually recoverable (even tho' I do think that the mod author is as devious as have created it to do just that LOL)

 

2 - 'Realistic Follower Combat'

 

Do Skyrim followers play their bowstrings by ear, or is it just a fluke that, when wearing DD blindfolds or hoods, they always seem to know where the enemy is, and be able to fill them with more arrows than are in the average pincushion?

 

Or, putting it another way, is there any way of making things more 'realistic' by stopping Followers using bows, and maybe at least other ranged weapons, when their eyes are 'covered'?

 

And if so, is this a request I should be making to you here, or to you on one of the the DDi or DDe threads?   I'll gladly cut and paste it to there too  ?
