Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

I'm having a couple issues with this mod (I don't think they're intended at least).

 

1. Special walking animations don't play for all items that should have them.  I've seen gameplay where the pony boots have a special walk/run animation but mine doesn't, and only the extreme variants of the hobble dresses use the hobble animation (the rest are normal walking animations at a reduced speed, which I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work or not.)

 

2. My other issue that I have is that NPCs who are wearing arm bondage (haven't noticed any in leg bondage yet) will walk as if their arms weren't bound.  Someone in armbinders will suddenly have their arms to their sides while moving.

 

I don't know if these are conflicts with other mods or not.  The only mod to change walking animations I have is FNIS Sexy Move, which disabling doesn't seem to remove animations of so I haven't been able to see if that's the problem.

@Jord of the Rings I think you are seeing both 1. and 2. are the way they should appear in game. There are some different walking animations for pony boots if you install the s.l.u.t.s mod and go for a carriage ride, but that's the only place i know and you can toggle the use of that animation in MCM. NPC's getting their arms out of armbinders is a known bug and propably not much can be done about it. If you reload the game it might fix it.

 

Oh you also must have RaceMenu installed, it includes nioverride plugin for SKSE and is essential for high heeled shoes like those.

The pony play animations are very special - there is actually only one set of boots in the regular DD library that has these animations.  The animations are activated by a keyword, and those boots are just the "example" item - the animations are more intended for modders as they are a bit silly if wearing pony boots instantly forced the player to prance about.

 

If you want to try out the animations in game - I think you are looking for the "pony play" boots specifically.  The SLUTS mod uses these animations a lot, and probably a few others - if you want them in your game more often you'd need to add the pony animation keyword to some of the items you use.

 

The hobble dresses are suppose to work that way - basically assume the "extreme" tag means that the dress will have the animations.  It also means the dress will slow the player down enough that the animations will look OK - at higher speeds they look really goofy.  Unless you are RPing as the energizer bunny.

While I think this can happen with NPCs on occasion normally - if you have a mod like FNIS Sexy Move, it will cause this on Female NPCs.  This is because it will replace the bound walking animation with the sexy walk animations.

I'm stuck here too.  I've got all the ingredients, and spoke to the Foreman who removed my gag.  I found the cooking pot by the fireplace but I can't use it despite wearing a metaphorical hole in the E key.  I tried restarting the game with no luck and am now kind of stuck.  I did notice that there's a brief pause when I hit E that the mouse stops rotating the character, and the indicator arrow pointing at the cooking pot on the compass vanishes for a second but that's all that happens.  Of course I also tried hitting E and keeping completely still with no difference.

 

I want to say that earlier I was trying to use an enchanting table while my hands were bound and had the same thing happen.  Have I missed a setting?

Thanks for the responses everyone!

I'm having one more issue now though.  I tried doing the shopping quest but when I try to go to the shop and use the dialogue for the quest, the merchant has sex with me and nothing else happens.  I don't get any new dialogue.  Only the same one again that leads to more sex.

I *think* that quest is supposed to update with the next shopkeeper type you need to talk to after the sex scene - could it possibly have updated and picked the same NPC type?  Does nothing still happen after you have sex with them multiple times?

Having problems with the Damsel in Distress quest.

 

After I've removed the Armbinder either through struggling or cutting it the quest does not progress and the game still thinks I'm wearing an armbinder.

Tried to reload previous save without success, also tried to spawn in a new armbinder and but only get the message that my char is already wearing one.

 

Would love some tips or a fix for this!

I don't have ideas to why cooking or enchanting does that for you, a load order might give hints from someone else. But for a workaround you can use console to find the ID of the prisoner food and then give 1 to player.

Ahh sneaky.  I tried using the console to take off the shackles but that failed.  I'll give this a go in the morning.  Thanks!

It has been a while since I played that quest but I recall having to remove the same arm restraint multiple times. First goes of the armbinder, then you are bound with gloves but with the same armbinder animation. You will also have some shackles or something, but if you try to remove them, you just get the vanilla type of message "this item can't be removed". You need to keep struggling of the same item each time. You will know it is of the DiD quest because it using "unlock" on it begins a struggling animation and doesn't require a key in most iterations (and in the one time it does require a key, the error message of needing a key will be very longer than usual). Once you successfully struggle out of the gloves (I think it was gloves), instead of the gloves being removed, the unremovable shackles (or whatever) will be removed. Keep trying to struggle out of the gloves until they totally disappear (at least one stage requires a key as a must. In other stages just keep struggling on cooldown. Just make sure to read the error message, because even at the stage that you need a key, it will go full animation before telling you that) and then the quest will progress and you will be able to start using special keys for all other items (and also be able to defend yourself).

Sadly it didn't amount to much as my char doesn't have any gloves equipped at all.

After removing the armbinder tried to remove any other restraint but they we're all high security so struggling out of them is not an option.

The quest is still stuck on the stop to "Free your hands".

They didn't last time I tried, oh well now it seems to work.

I think you need to be sure that the MCM option for "sharp objects" event is deactivated.  Because you will eventually discover your wrists are tied and if the sharp object event fires it breaks the quest.

Ok so I’m using 8.3 but I’m still having the old problem of the Silver Hands somehow sending me to Dagonar Prison from Combat defeat. And this is despite Use Vanilla Prisons being checkmarked. Is anyone else having this problem because I know it was on Kimy’s to do list at one point? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Is this mod supposed to work with custom race ? i play a fresh neigheim character and there are never loot event, even if my chance are around 15-20% in MCM.

 

in log i have this :

Means exactly what it says. Starting from level 4 you can get cursed loot events. :)

All traps start at level 3 actually. The MCM option separates "standard traps" and "special traps". The special traps are things like cursed collar, high security restraints, bondage adventure etc...

i've been having trouble with deviously cursed loot causing a ctd when analyzing if i'm viable for a sex attack. Crash log says this:

i'm currently on the cursed collar quest which is why they're disabled, but i have no idea why it causes a ctd.

That's not a crash log, that's just a papyrus log.  If you want an actual crash log you need to install crash fixes and turn on its logging, or enable mini dumps in SKSE.ini and analyze the .dmp file with the windows debugger tool.

Whenever i want to get into debug option mod just crashes and after i re-open mcm cursed loot does not load. No other options, just blank window.

Apperiantly I am stuck in the "supply and demand" quest searching for the lost shippment. I cleared about 6 bosschests now, while wearing that movement restricting suite, and wonder wether I am aproaching something fundamentally wrong here. Maybe someone can help me out. Also note that I have no idea of modding and therefore do not know how to get the objektid of the lost shippment so if anyone could post that here I would appreciate that alot too.
