NotMeNotYou, you have the same issue I do, and Constetti. I was only able to get estrus to check in CL's mcm at first but after an update or something I check it and it just gets unchecked. Interesting it happens on a new game too for you. I tried uninstalling estrus (CL still had estrus as registering even when it was uninstalled and a setstage SKI_configmanagerinstance 1   command. And putting estrus back in a clean save still had the issue (with estrus not staying checked/enabled in CL's mcm). I used SaveCleanerTool mod. The only thing I haven't tried is uninstalling cursed loot and estrus then cleaning the save and putting them both back in.

I will have another look at the relevant code later, but I can't reproduce that error on my end, which makes fixing it difficult.

 

As a general remark - I wouldn't touch automated save game cleaners with a ten foot pole. They have a certain tendency to mess up more things than they clean.

Ok. I found that bug after all! yay! I will put a fix for it into the next patch. :)

Q: Is this patch likely to include some type of payment plan for buying ones way out of the high security gear?

Kimy. Love the new update! I did, however, just encounter a problem. I got caught by some high security restraints - a harness ball gag and slave boots - and everything went screwy. While wearing the boots my character was juddering up and down rapidly whenever she wasn't in sneak mode. So when standing/walking or on horseback she was just shaking violently up and down. And while wearing the gag I got this:

I paid to have them removed. As soon as the heels were off the juddering stopped, but her face remained black until I saved and reloaded, then everything was fine.

 

I don't have logging on at the moment, unfortunately, so I don't have anything like that to show you.

In a future update could you add an extra collar that allows clothing as well as jewellery. At present there's no reason from a roleplay point of view to wear clothing so it would be nice to have a reason to wear some of the outfits around.

 

Otherwise perhaps add an option to the current collars (like the jewellery option). It could be used as a partial offset against the naked slavegirl reducing the chance by a small factor (say 5%), the pc would still be highly vulnerable due to the collar and having no armour.

I am indeed planning to add more interesting effects to the collar. Perhaps there will be a version that will require you to wear a specific set of (fetish/slavery) gear. I am also planning to have an option to make nudity a bit more viable for gameplay, so the collar won't prevent you as much from continuing doing stuff in the game anymore.

I am not sure about generally allowing clothing, though. While I agree with clothing being very much underused in Skyrim, this would not really fit with the collar's theme, which is public humiliation ;)

That's one of the reasons I was thinking of having an extra collar added to the mod, it's purpose is simply to deny the pc armour (like the custom harness) but would allow clothing. Perhaps it could a large release fee from a blacksmith as just having a release using a restraint key would be a bit too easy as the effect needs to last a little while to make wearing the clothing worthwhile.

 

There is the Vanity Collar (from Pet Collar)  but there's no roleplay way to get it as it has to be obtained through the console. I just feel It would be a nice addition to the game and would fill a gap which hasn't been addressed anywhere so far.

 

For instance, I downloaded the Seducerset armour and converted it to clothing as it's far too pretty to be armour (and it's obviously clothing when you look at it) but as a roleplayer there's just no reason to wear it as it offers no protection, so why would you without a good reason to force you to.

uhh how do you escape the high security Gear? You were being too vague so I have no clue how to get out of it.

 

 

You need to talk to a blacksmith and pay them for removing them.

50:50 Cinderella Collar... You're allowed clothing from 7pm to 7am, 7am to 7pm and you have to be naked, or suffer the penalty of a continuously, slowly decreasing health bar as electricity continuously bathes your body. Clothes will keep the chill off at night, allowing you make a run for the nearest fire in FROSTFALL, as well a tiny bit of extra protection. But at night you have more enemies to deal with, in the day you have the humiliation of walking around naked, or getting continuously zapped by electricity.

 

It would force you to plan your adventuring around the clock, especially in colder climates.

 

Or you could just pull out your pretty dress, or your best rags at night and go parade around the town.

Slut collar... you have to whore yourself out to charge up the collar, giving you 1 game hour of armour use per sexual encounter... Max charge is 12 hours, but you will get a stamina debuff of 50% slower stamina recharging after 6 sexual encounters.

Timer starts ticking down when you put on your armour, and keeps ticking down regardless of taking it off or not...

 

I guess your going to be popular around town with the slut collar... Belenthor will never get that smile off of his face, when he was helping you charge your collar for your big adventure...

 

If you are using a pregnancy mod or cum inflation mod, your going to have more debuffs to deal with, as well as a huge stomach or possible multiple pregnancies...

 

It would certainly give you plenty of public humiliation...

 

If you're playing as a man, then you'd probably be filling up the orphanage with your children...

 

100 sexual encounters needed to unlock it, no keyhole...

Expect it to crash, behave strangely, or drink your coffee. Anything. Oh, and all dialogue text will address you as a female.

 

Nobody ever reads readmes! :P

 

Frostfall I might look into providing some relief for, as I do want Cursed Loot to remain compatible with major community add-ons, if possible. In contrast to RND I never really played a game with Frostfall enabled though, so I have only very limited understanding of its mechanics and what I best do to remedy it. If you guys could help me out with some suggestions there, I'd be grateful.

Still getting error message on every chest with Version 2.3, Version 2.1 is fine...

 

This is puzzling me, for I added code to 2.3 that should prevent this from happening. It was caused by people having Aradia installed and recognized by Cursed Loot, but disabled in MCM. Is that your setting, by chance?

Yeah, it would work in 2.1. I had to make drastic changes to how optional mods are being handled when I fixed the bug that Cursed Loot wasn't working for some people at all when not having the optional mods installed, so 2.2. does it completely differently. The issue you have was introduced then, so to speak.

 

I will add another sanity check before calling that function. Not quite sure why it's not working for you, still.

How about upgrading the BEARSKIN SPELL that is already present in FROSTFALL, so it is a bit more effective. Give it a name something like POLAR SKIN, and ramp up the effect with a warmth rating of 260 (top level fur armour warmth rating), as well as making the duration longer, 2 hours long would be good time. Make it a low level spell, to be able to be cast by beginners...

 

Or make it a written spell as these are seriously underused in Skyrim.

 

Certain Vendors should carry them, the cost being on a sliding scale according to your level, 50 gold for a beginner to buy to 500 gold for a high level hoarder who is level 70 and rolling in money.

 

The Spell is probably easier, as its just tweaking a FROSTFALL SPELL...

 

You could have it craftable, or the collar could have it already on it.

I can't make any direct changes to Frostfall resources. It would require me to set a dependency on it, and that's a definite no-go. Whatever I do, but I have to do this with vanilla resources.

Silly question...but do you guys have -all- of Aradia installed, including the Parasite Harness?
