Quick question about special events : does the %age of special events apply to normal events, e.g 30% of cursed loot events are "special", or is it a separate roll? it's quite hard to grasp at first install.

 

The former. If your base chance to find cursed loot is 10% and your special events chance is 33%, every third cursed loot event will be a special event but you still will find cursed loot only in every 10th container.

From what i understand, you have X% chance of a Cursed Loot event to occur, and IF it occurs, there is Y% chance of it being a special one. 

 

DEFAULT: There's a 5% chance of a curse event happening when you open the chest. If the even happens, there's a 1% chance of it being a special event, and then different chances of exactly which event that is; Flashbang, Cursed Collar, etc.

 

As far as i see it anyways. Kimy might be using different math.

So with 2.1, the slave collar isn't removed.  I use the key, it says

Slave Collar Effect Ended

Slave Collar Key Removed

You Successfully Unlocked the Collar

 

But it's still on my character, and still in effect.

I checked the option for debug messages, but I can't find the log.

Arp, yeah, I can see why this would happen.

Well, i have to go to an inside cell, disable the mod, save, exit the game, uninstall the mod, reopen the game, save, exit, install the new version, run BOSS and the SkyRe Reproccer, reopen the game, and hope it doesn't CTD. And the save/load stages is x4 since i have four characters at the moment.

Would be nice to have it as a patch, so i just go to an inside cell, save, exit, install patch, then reopen the game and load.

 

 

i've never done anything more than overwrite the mod when updating it...

Haven't encountered that one yet but I just finished up the Cursed Collar.  Very nice.  I'll probably enable fast travel the next time it's available (I'm being extorted by some blacksmiths at the moment for some reason...) because motherfucking wolves. :angry:

This mod is one of my most favorite mods and I want to keep it enabled for a long time use.

However, I always end with full devious equipment set on my PC during the very first dungeon.

I use the default setting except 1) change the max item count to 10, 2) check the escape option box and allow key dropping when not bound.

It feels like the cursed chest/corpse triggers much more frequently than setting (should be 5%), and the keys almost never drops (should be 10%).

I have two question due to the imbalance between devices and keys:

1. For the former, how does arousal affect the actual triggering rate? It seems the cursed event triggers very often once the arousal value over the threshold.

2. And for the latter, do all container types allowing cursed event drop keys? Or some of them only trigger cursed event but will never drop keys?

All I want is to figure out some "good" setting values such that a dynamic balance between devices and keys can be kept during constant looting.

Tried the new version out, and got the Estrus sex machine event... which then impregnated my character.  Given that the machine doesn't seem to employ anything but magical restraints and a vibrator, it doesn't really fit.

If you don't like the impregnation feature, you can safely uninstall Estrus Chaurus+ and Actor Events and just keep Estrus for Skyrim around for the animations.

how can i check if the mod is running? I have the chances set to 100% but nothing happens when i open any chest.

 

 

EDIT: back tracking the thread and installed all the optional, it is now working on a new game, thanks!

I'm absolutely loving this update! Great work.

I'm having one issue though. Estrus attack is not triggered. I'm using only Estrus for Skyrim because I don't want AE messing with my already not as-stable-as-I-want game. DCLs MCM menu recognises that Estrus for skyrim is present but "Estrus integration" is unset every time I exit the menus and with settings that only allow for an estrus attack (base chance 100%, chance for special event 100%, all weights to 0, estrus to 100) nothing happens when I open a chest.

I should mention, that this is a new playthrough, all mods installed prior to starting the game, sorted via loot, and a bashed patch has been created.

I'm getting the following error in papyrus.log, which slightly confuses me, because I thought EstrusChaurus wasn't required:

@Kimy: I would like to congratulate your awesome new update. I was curious about this new cursed collar quest and gave it a try, so for my surprise I experienced a outrageously sexy and creative quest! :heart:

 

 

I was getting tired of the "Bang, your are bound, try to escape" thing, so the selfbondage was a very very nice touch. Only that it was excellent enough for me, but when I got to the end and played (I mean it really had gameplay and not just "spam struggles") full restrained and in a inescapable armbinder!! OMG, Jackpot!

 

 

So thank you, I really enjoyed.

Sorry but I'm trying to add Aradia Devious Expansion to this mod, but it still say 'Not found' in MCM menu. Aradia is a bit difficult to install for me, so here what I have installed on the download page:

03_Main_Aradia_Parasite_Harness.7z

03_Option_CBBE_Meshes.7z

 

The mod works in game (with player.additem, didn't see any bug with the texture). Just I don't know how to create interaction with those two mods.

Uhh, Kimy. I got a problem here. 

 

After i installed this mod, i now get Crushed Breasts whenever i wear a Chastity Bra. I tested both with the bras your mod added and one of the bras from CD. I tried rebuilding the meshes (using CBBE, HDT and the RustyXXL bodyslide files) and they would stilll crush. It doesn't happen immediately. The breasts are normal size for a few seconds, then just shrinks down into barely-existing. it's kinda annoying.

 

EDIT: It seems to only happen when i equip "expansion/integration" Chastity Bras. I tried consoling in the very most basic bra, the one that doesn't even lock, and it did not cause crushing.

That's from DD Integration. In the Devious Devices MCM look for Breast Node Management and uncheck it if you don't like it. It's to prevent bouncy breasts (if you have T/BBP or hdt) from jiggling through the bra. It flattens them when a bra is worn.

Ah, thanks. Turned them off, and the breasts stay as they should now. Thanks.

 

I do get a bit of clipping, the front part of the breasts clip through the Bra, but i guess i just have to play around with Bodyslide to make them fit better.

You need the 00_Merge_ESP file, too. It's the one actually containing the API Cursed Loot uses to connect to the Aradia content.

So I need to install

The merge ESP shouldn't get overwritten with anything.

Odd. This should work.

 

Can you confirm that a file named "Aradia Devious Expansion.esp" is present in your data folder and activated in your load order?
