I'm basically invincible and nobody takes advantage of it. When I drop my weapons, it says "someone could take advantage of an unharmed lady" but nothing ever happen. I'm always at 100 arousal, but it seems that nothing can trigger it. Also, I'm always wearing the chastity rogue armor from Aradia. I hope you can help me. gollum007 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 A note on the Damsel in Distress quest bug reported above: I've got several other 'Devious' mods running here (Ask if you require a list, but I think it's probably unimportant) I've had one occasion where another Devious event equipped several restraints on me, and it bugged out the quest- To be exact, I'd removed the DCL armbinder, but still had the wrist shackles, and the new event equipped an armbinder. From the brief digging I did upon discovering that the DCL quest was broken, my basic assessment was that the offending mod hadn't properly respected the quest item flags on the DCL stuff, and had just dumped it's own stuff on instead. Predictably, upon removing these extra items, the DCL quest thought I still had it's stuff equipped Bottom line is that I suspect it's probably another mod misbehaving, rather than a DCL bug. DiD is designed with other mods possibly equipping their own items in mind, but their might be a situation or two when this might still lead to issues. If the other mod isn't respecting the quest item flags (which no mod ever should!), this will obviously break the quest, no matter what. Completely agree The point I was trying to make was that I've seen this behaviour before, and the bug reported above is *probably not* DCL's fault. People are too quick to point the finger without trying a little basic debugging of their own! I have a problem with "Keys only drop when restrained/pierced" option. I completed the "Damsel in distress" quest but I still find a lot of keys and very often. So I checked this option ("Keys only drop when restrained/pierced") but nothing was changed. Keys are almost everywhere. How can I fix this? Sorry for my English. I probably have found source of the problem. During walkthrough of Damsel in distress quest my character was somehow equipped with 2 pairs of slaveboots simultaneously. So I couldn't take off them by regular way and even with console commands. Therefore I completed this quest by console command. But something (scripts?) was left running and DCL considered that my characters still in quest. I reinstalled DCL with clean save and now it seems to work normally. More about this issue. Just now my character triggered Cursed Collar quest. And during stage when she have to put on slave boots I got and error: An error has occurred with your installation of Devious Devices. Please check the log for more information. cycl0ps Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Another thing I noticed: During sex attacks, sometimes the animation will bug out for the aggressor: my female PC will perform her part, but the aggressor (male and female) will sometimes behave strangely like swap close back on, simply stand there, start the animation then stand there again. I have SL 1.6h2 and Non-SL animations installed. Anyone else notice this? Should I just chalk it up to 1.6 goofiness and wait for DL 5.0? Given that SL has to be manually activated now, do I need to directly disable the esps of SL contingent mods and active SL in the save file before activating the esps?

I ask because it seems to be refereed to as a quest by the mod but no information was given in game about it supposedly coming off after a period of time. the length of time is very adjustable in the MCM, however these adjustments must be made before you aquire the slut collar as i remember. there is also and adjustment for how long you avoid having sex which can also make it come off, as well as how many time you have to have sex before it comes off, and I believe there is also a tick to make it require a key or not require a Key, as well as the time servered, or not served, as to sex count or absence of sex count. Maybe other things, but as I said if you have already aquired the collar, you may not be able to remove it at this time. but there is always the free me command that is located in the bug section I think O the MCM.

I did wanta clarify two specific options in the MCM menu their both under general: arousal weight, and arousal modifier weight runs from 0.0 to 1.0 in .1 increments and the description says it can go up to 100% chance im guna go out on a limb and say that has to do with directly adding a chance to the drop rate of anything. if ur at 100 arousal with a .4 weight id assume that would be 40%+ w/e the base chance is. can someone confirm that though. where I really get lose on weight is, is it scaled? if its set to .4 or 40% im assuming that's at 100 arousal but what about at 10 or 37 arousal? is it just scaled down so its 40% at 100 or .4% per arousal point? the arousal modifier if I understand correctly takes a "portion" of the weight and divides it down so u arnt limited to increments of 10% only. just trying to get a good understanding of this I wanta set the base chance low enough its not too bothersome but then set my arousal settings up so that if im over say 50 arousal stuff drops fairly regularly like once or twice a dungeon with max arousal really tripping everything.

I have double-checked all the requirements and their requirements, nothing is missing. I have tried unchecking every single plugin other than this mod and it's requirements, including my DLC:s. No difference. Help? If it crashes on displaying the Bethesda logo, the cause is a missing dependency approximately 100% of the time. Use LOOT and/or TES5Edit to determine what's wrong. Excuse my lengthy absence and my inexperience with modding: What is LOOT and how do i find it?

Continuation. I reinstalled ZaZ Animation Pack and all devious stuff and now it seems to work without problems. At least I can put on slave boots on my character without errors and during test run she 2 times triggered cursed traps with full gear also without errors. [uPD] Forgot the main thing: now my character can die! So it's best not to enable "Sex attacks" option because of this bug with immortality.

Say you have cursed loot chance set to 1%. With no arousal weight, you would get a cursed loot event about 1 every 100 chests. If you added arousal weight, this will obviously change. I typically use low weights, so I'll use that here. Lets say you set .1 for modifier and .1 for weight. If your character is at 50 arousal, the .1 modifier would give you a value of 5%. (10% of 50 out of 100) The .1 weight setting will then take that 5%, and combine it with your normal settings. In this example 1% (from the base chance) would get 90% of the total weight and the 5% (from the arousal modifier) would get 10% (from the arousal weight). The formula you would plug the numbers into is (Base Chance * Base Chance Weight) + (Modified Arousal * Arousal Weight) = Total Chance In this example Base Chance is 1% or .01, Base Chance Weight is 90% or .9, Modified Arousal is 5 (so 5%, or .05), and Arousal Weight is 10% or .1. That gives us (.01 * .9) + (.05 * .1) = 0.014. That means your modified chance would be 1.4 % for a cursed loot event. If you use the default weights for arousal, at a 1% base chance and 50 arousal you would get this: BC = .01 BCW = .5 MA = .25 (50% of 50) AW = .5 (.01 * .5) + (.25*.5) = .13 or a 13% chance. Odd... oO laws of physics clearly outlines that 2 DD items CAN NOT occupy the same space a the same time. Old school stuff

Devious Coins What if you could collect "devious coins". When you trigger a trap, you have 5 to 25% to obtain these coins. Depending on the severity of the trap, you get one to three coins. These coins will be the currency at a devious shrine or for a devious priest(tess), where you can receive a devious blessing. The end result will be something like a permanent 5 points of armor bonus, or 1% resistance against shock damage, or a little increase in speed while wearing devious boots/heels. The same blessing can be obtained multiple times, but each time the price for that blessing goes up. Either the shrine or priest(tess) will give you a permanent bonus directly. Our they will give you a curse. And only after you have endured the curse, will the devious bonus be activated. As example of a curse; you might get the curse "I love spanking". When talking to a npc, there is something like 20% you get a spanking. After enough spankings the curse will be lifted and you get the bonus "Spanked Bottom", which will grand you a permanent 5 points in armor. As the bonus increases, not only do you require more devious coins to get the curse again, you will require more spankings to lift the "I love spanking" curse as well. I know this is probably a lot to implement. But if enough modders might like this idea, perhaps there could be a separate mod called "devious coins". That way, others could create mods that allows you to earn these coins, or build mods that use these coins as currency. The coins will be a simple method for other mods to be integrate with each other. Even if you do not consider implementing this idea, do you like it nevertheless? In the meantime I am looking forward to version 5 of your mod. If not mistaken, that will be November the 10th, together with the release of Fallout 4. That is, if I trust the uttermost unreliable sources here on this forum.

True, unless one was already hand restrained they wouldn't be an issue to remove, but they'd still function. The models are already out there and ready to go too.

I am one of these people not exactly counting down seconds to its release. If you just hadn't told me when it releases, I wouldn't have known. Guess how funny that would have been, had I -really- released it on Nov 10! It would have been a total accident, but would anyone have believed me? Hard to say. The last line of the log doesn't always indicate the reason why your game crashed, it's just the last event that was getting logged, and a lot of mods don't log much, if anything. Above log actually means that Cursed Loot finished processing the door code successfully, so I would think it's not what caused your CTD.

FO4's release date is of no concern to me, one way or the other. jk! btw on a related note, do you like fallout lore and setting? are you interested in making some devious mods even there?
