Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

Save feature will happen (well, has already happened, you guys just don't have the new version yet!). But I won't break Cursed Loot's ESP apart as I don't feel that would make any sense, particularly for those of you who already have to combine ESPs to stay under the 250 limit.

Hehe I know exactly what you mean. I changed out quite a few mods for my load order, did some testing, and I think I've pretty much got everything I want ready to go for a nice long playthrough. Except the new version of DCL. Normally I wouldn't mind so much, but since it's going to require a new save, I've been doing my best to hold off until it releases. Fingers crossed its soon!

So... I got the "Little Bondage Adventure" quest from a corpse in Embershard Mine.  I have a couple of questions.

 

1). I had the sharp item fail to remove my armbinder.  Is there a way I can fix that without using the safeword?  I don't want to cheat my way out of the quest, but if I have a bugged armbinder I may not have a choice?

 

2). To succeed the quest, where do I have to make it back to?  I suspect the dead body in Embershard will be gone before I can manage to get back to there... do I need to get to a town, or what do I need to do to complete it?

 

EDIT:  Nevermind, I think I figured it out.  I couldn't open my map directly, but I can open it from the quest journal so I see the marker now.

 

I absolutely love this mod, btw.  First mod I have found that really makes Devious Devices work for me.

 

The sharp item can't remove this particular armbinder. I guess I will need to prevent it from showing up when this armbinder is worn....

That bug will be gone in 5.0. The slave boots shouldn't have been equipped by the quest, hence they don't get removed.

im starting to see a bug i have the box ticked to unequip items not remove them but for some reason it takes them off the player and removes from inventory

Since i had the same:

1. i think my "sharp item" failed because it was a high security armbinder, not sure about that though. The armbinder wasn't taken off when i returned, but i could get it off when asking a smith about "can you help me with these things", which is totally ok because

 

2. i had to "return" to a smith, i had this quest twice now, it's maybe not a smith you already met, but he should be able to get you free at least. For the where, activate the quest in your journal, you should have access to that even without a map. For me who doesn't know the realm really well, it's always a real adventure to do a quest strong bound, never knowing where it will lead me, how far that is, or what's behind the next corner... i totally love it

But i really suggest to deactivate blindfolds during those quests, because without map AND a clue in which direction you have to go... that's too much for my taste

 

For my own problems: most of it was my own fault, i really just got puzzled because i've installed (or even not installed, mixed up defeat and helpless, that's the reason creatures exploted, i just didn't have any mod active which would allow them taking advantage) several mods at once, i've read the description carefully, but couldn't remember which one was doing what. At least i wasn't completly wrong asking here

I have a clue why it happens sometimes but not always that creatures explode: as far as i can say, the explotions are inactive after i've been raped by a  human. So if this should be a feature, it seems a little buggy, but i don't care much because i don't need it anyways, and even without alternatives to death, one can usually run fast enough to get rid of wolves etc, avoid coming close to spriggans etc,  for my lvl7 character with no health skilled, without armor and sneaking skills only bears where a serious problem. Dragons and trolls should be too, but until now i didn't meet them

 

It might sound strange to be happy about a bug, but i'm glad that the unremoved armbinder after prostitution isn't because i fucked up something by my own, so it's not me who has work to do

And today i had my first experience to be bound without armbinder... i entered the alchemist shop in whiterun, put on some slave gloves after opening the door, talked to the owner, and the first thing she said was something like "let me help you do things properly...".

 

Finally i can say, except this single known bug, everything works very fine now for me, i'm so grateful for your work Kimy

Hey, if you're waiting for 5.0 (and buggying Kimy about release date ), thought I'd mention a short mini game mod that's similar in flavour (in the respect of your character getting into trouble).  Get Stripped, Again!.  So instead of bondage, it's nudity.  I'd play the Riften version (2.1) as that has the best content.

 

Kimy, if you're ever looking for animations (the public humiliation ones would fit for your nudity bondage), this is the person if there's sharing.  Some of the best animations I've seen.  All custom stuff so no idea on how easy it's to use as opposed to calling Sexlab.  Just a heads up because somehow I've never seen this mod before and this is the stuff I look for, so thought others might have missed it as well as you.

 

Some animations are rougher than others, but the scriped events (there's a big spanko one) can be amazing.  Movement, facial expressions etc.

 

NOTE: can be quirky to get it started.  I'd recommend a clean save.  But at min be in Riften tavern and quit save.  THEN install the mod.  Load up and leave the Tavern.

Or better yet, use the clean save you've got ready (without CL) and waiting for CL 5.0 install, what I did .

 

Might be a few other things if running with CL.  Nude comments, cover up animations (mod has it's own) for sure.  Should be easy to work out.

I'm playing through with 4.10, and recently I've stopped finding devious items in chests. My settings are all correct (they haven't changed), and yet nothing seems to happen even after many dozens of chests/barrels etc. opened. Any ideas/possible fixes? My mod list/order shouldn't be an issue because nothing on the incompatibility list is in my load order, and again, nothing has changed since they used to work.

Is your arousal up?  iirc 30% is the default min for events to happen.  So if anything keeps arousal down..

 

btw. you can always turn debug on, then your event 'rolls' will be displayed on screen and the reason why/why not anything happened.

Yes, my arousal is up, settings are all configured correctly (I changed min arousal to 40%), and the messages all say that there is no cursed loot in any containers anywhere. Hmm. Well I've changed a few things since my game started, so I think it might just be time for me to start over a new game.

I know its an old issue, but I searched through the thread and didnt see a fix. 

 

With Combat Surrender on, my character drops to zero health and stays there, and can't die and won't surrender. Basically God-Mode, and can't manually surrender. 

 

Was there a fix for this that I missed, or do we know what causes it? Sorry if I'm just dumb and didn't see it, I really did search!

There is a workaround: use TIM console command (Toggle Inmortal Mode), Disable Combat Surrender, use TIM again, and you are good to go!

So I really tried to look for the solution to this problem on my own but I couldn't find anything. So here is my problem:

 

I am in the middle of completing The Cursed Collar Quest and I read the note in the chest talking about the uses for the Cursed Ball Gag. But when I equip the ball gag the game equips then unequips the gag. But visually my character is wearing the gag, and everytime I try to re-equip the gag the game tells me I can't wear more than one gag at a time. So I can't equip the Cursed Ball Gag and continue the quest.

 

BTW I'm playing as the YoungNord race added by Enhanced Character Edit if that makes any difference.

I had something like this happen when I picked the lock on a blindfold and then dropped it. It was gone from my inventory, but still showed on my character model and the blindfold effect was still applied. In my case, I had just entered a new area, so I loaded my autosave to fix it.

Yes, my arousal is up, settings are all configured correctly (I changed min arousal to 40%), and the messages all say that there is no cursed loot in any containers anywhere. Hmm. Well I've changed a few things since my game started, so I think it might just be time for me to start over a new game. 

 

Do you have a DCL quest running?  I believe quests such as 'Damsel in Distress' and 1 or two others will cause the events to stop until you complete it.

This mod is great, thanks for all your effort.

 

I've got a small problem.

The dialog for the bondage adventure doesn't show up and whenever i equip a exhibitionsts suit the game crashes.

It doesn't matter if i equip it manually after adding it to my inventory or if i get it through an event.

My characters body disappears just before the crash.

Does this mean that i am missing an dependency?

 

Log from loading save, exiting an interior and getting the suit from an event.

I've read this before,

The Dialog not showing is a known bug.

The crash is probably a skeleton issue. Reinstall your skeleton with all dependencies and it should be working.

Edit: Check if your dependencies are up to date and follow instructions.

Quick question,

 

debug (freeword) doesn't end the damsel in distress quest for me. Whats the stage and questID to end it? I tried "help damsel" "help distress" "help DCL" and so on, found nothing :/

Still hoping for a way to end the Damsel in Distress Quest, since no events start while it is active. The Debug/Safeword does not work.
