Couple of questions/suggestions for v5. I know you have it locked down so perhaps when you update next:

 

1/ Could we have a separate slider for Estrus Slime/Ooze? The current slider only affects Tentacle so it would be a nice addition though not that important

2/ Did you have any luck in V5 with the odd AI behaviour in Candleheath Hall (Windhelm)?

3/ Will V5 still work with SL1.59c? The reason for asking is that there are some problems with some mods with SL1.60, so a forced upgrade might present some unwelcome choices until they're all updated.

There's really no reason to hold back on upgrading to 1.6. Mods that are behind on compatibility shouldn't hamper the development of other mods.

 

That said I don't think it's relevant for DCL. As far as I know, the only Sexlab interactions it features is starting cuddle scenes and that function hasn't changed.

DCL 5.0 is developed using SL 1.60, but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work with 1.59c as well.

Thanks, the reason for asking was that DH has a problem fitting the Draugr rusty chastity belt, everything else seems to work though. I'm trying to find what the problem is in Srende's scripts so I can make a patch.

Quick question,

 

debug (freeword) doesn't end the damsel in distress quest for me. Whats the stage and questID to end it? I tried "help damsel" "help distress" "help DCL" and so on, found nothing :/

Every time a cursed loot event fires, it says my player is enslaved or has a conflicting quest. Is there any way to determine what is causing that and possibly clear it out? I am not currently enslaved, and I don't think I have any quests which are conflicting, but it is hard to know for sure without some way to debug it.

Is there a way I can see where I'm supposed to return to in the "Little Bondage Adventure"? Mine seems to have bugged out on me. It's also the first time I've encountered this quest (fairly new to the whole DD thing) so I'm not totally familiar with how it should happen.

 

The quest kicked in for me when I entered Belethor's store (not by talking to him), then I came to on the edge of the map SW of Falkreath. After running back to Belethor's, there were no dialogue options to be had with him relating to this quest. I also tried Arcadia and the market sellers in case the event triggered just prior to entering Belethor's, but no joy there either.

 

Luckily I have a save shortly before the event happened, but I'd prefer to finish it if possible and not have it bug out again should it trigger again.

Hi, i'm quite new to this too, not only DD but Skyrim at all, but i'm quite fascinated from all those mods made here, and this one is one of my most appreciated, thanks for all that work! :)

And i hope it's ok if i don't read the 150 sites first... google didn't lead me anywhere helpful, so here's my problem: (might be more than one)

I've just "finished" the "Little Adventure in chains", i hope that's a proper translation since i'm playing the german version (Kleines Abenteuer in Fesseln). It was started when i looted a dead body, before that i had 2 plugs which didn't fall out without belt after i paid Faendal to remove it, i'm not completley sure what was added... i've seen a collar, castity belt, armbinders, gag transparent high heels and a tranparent suit.

The chastity belt was removed by a guard which decided that i'm still too bound to do anything and disappeared, later on my way i found a locked chest, clicking on it told me something about sharp item, free of armbinder, but i wasn't free at all. When i arrived the smith in Windhelm, he put off everything except the armbinder, the shoes and a corset. Is something broken? Or should it be that way because it's high security? How get i out of that thing?

 

PS: I've used Free me! now for the armbinder, the corset and shoes remained, maybe because i had keys for them?

 

And another problem: I get always armbinders, sometimes additional to restrictive gloves, but those are never tied together and all other items to bind arms just never appear, even if i set the slider to 0 for armbinders and 100 to others. I have Devious assets, integration and expansion installed. Accept for attacks, i didn't change any options from default.

 

Third, but i don't know if it's this mod: When in walk through the landscape and some creatures attack me, there is sometimes an explosion and the creature killed, although it should actually rape me... or is submit the only mod which supports that? I decided to try defeat instead of submit, but cursed loot has sexattacks too, so i don't know which causes this explosions, and why it doesn't appear always... probably a clean save should solve the "sometimes" problem, but actually i din't want to kill attackers when i'm helpless, so if anybody knows which mod causes these explotions and how i can turn it off, i'd be happy :)

Edith3: When i use the CL Prostitution and somebody fetches his toys, i always get an armbinder and never get it away when he removes the other tools...

don't know if that is intentioned, but it seems strange to me when somebody pays for sex, and just lays down to masturbate while i'm free to walk off because there are no animations with armbinders...

I'd really appreciate it if armbinders would be off for this option :)

-The corset dosent get removed because its a special devices and one of a kind under the devious devices as it changes its form depending if you have a chastity belt on or not so I dont't know exact tecnical details, but the removal can't handle the way the corset works thats why it stays allways on.

-The sharp Item thing can be disabled in my expierience it causes only problems with breaking quests like damsel in distress so I would disalbe the "sharp item chance" and use the normal dialogue option.

-the shoes should also get removed dont know why it dosent get removed the armbinder did not get removed because it should be allready off due the sharp item thing so it messed up the removal

- Restrictive gloves are the same as arm cuffs they are not tied togheter and have nothing to do with the armbinder devices if you want it for immersion there is a mod that adds the bind effect when you equip its item, but its purly cosmetical and has to be equipped by yourself http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2352-wrist-binder/

- Can't really say something about the armbinder chance thing works fine for me I get yokes armbinders or the cuffs.

Neither cursed loot, submit or defeat cause explosions. Both submit and defeat support creatures for cursed loot I dont know I dont use the attacks from it.

There is a chance the customer leaves you with your devices. If its only the armbinder you messed up something as it gets removed fine any other mods installed that handle device removal? like device cutting or captured dreams?

 

For the masturbation thing there are armbinder animations you just did not install them install zaz animation pack you will need/want it anyway.

 

 

overall I would say be more carefull when reading instructions from mods its sounds a bit like you have installed dozens of mods at once and don't have a proper overview anymore like the explosion thing if you want further help with it a loadorder is needed otherwise we dont know what could cause this

The chastity belt was removed by a guard which decided that i'm still too bound to do anything and disappeared, later on my way i found a locked chest, clicking on it told me something about sharp item, free of armbinder, but i wasn't free at all. The sharp item will not mess up any quests. If it's disabled and DiD is running, you will find the sharp item required to escape its armbinder even if you otherwise disabled this escape route.

 

 

Third, but i don't know if it's this mod: When in walk through the landscape and some creatures attack me, there is sometimes an explosion and the creature killed, although it should actually rape me... or is submit the only mod which supports that? I decided to try defeat instead of submit, but cursed loot has sexattacks too, so i don't know which causes this explosions, and why it doesn't appear always... probably a clean save should solve the "sometimes" problem, but actually i din't want to kill attackers when i'm helpless, so if anybody knows which mod causes these explotions and how i can turn it off, i'd be happy :)

Neither cursed loot, submit or defeat cause explosions. Both submit and defeat support creatures for cursed loot I dont know I dont use the attacks from it.

 

Actually this is a feature of Cursed Loot. DCL does not support animals in rape scenes, so in these case it will kill off the attacker as the player has no other way to defend herself. This will trigger only of the character is wearing wrist restraints (armbinder, shackles, yoke). If she gets attacked by eligible mobs (NPCs, humanoid creatures if you have enabled them), they will rape the player if they successfully hit her with an attack while she is bound.

 

 

When i use the CL Prostitution and somebody fetches his toys, i always get an armbinder and never get it away when he removes the other tools...

don't know if that is intentioned, but it seems strange to me when somebody pays for sex, and just lays down to masturbate while i'm free to walk off because there are no animations with armbinders...

I'd really appreciate it if armbinders would be off for this option

There is a chance the customer leaves you with your devices. If its only the armbinder you messed up something as it gets removed fine any other mods installed that handle device removal? like device cutting or captured dreams?

 

The armbinder should get properly removed with the next patch.

First thanks for correcting, but in my expierience I got a "sharp item" while having DiD quest that caused the quest to progress to the leather bindings while still having the armbinder on dont know if there was a change in this the last time I used the sharp item option was when you implemented the DiD quest and I ended up with the problem.

What he describes fits to the "problem" I had he found a sharp item, but his armbinder stayed on and could not be removed by a npc because it allready should be off. Feel free to correct me as I have only my conclusion based on my expierience.

Is there a way I can see where I'm supposed to return to in the "Little Bondage Adventure"? Mine seems to have bugged out on me. It's also the first time I've encountered this quest (fairly new to the whole DD thing) so I'm not totally familiar with how it should happen.

 

The quest kicked in for me when I entered Belethor's store (not by talking to him), then I came to on the edge of the map SW of Falkreath. After running back to Belethor's, there were no dialogue options to be had with him relating to this quest. I also tried Arcadia and the market sellers in case the event triggered just prior to entering Belethor's, but no joy there either.

 

Luckily I have a save shortly before the event happened, but I'd prefer to finish it if possible and not have it bug out again should it trigger again.

If you select the quest in your journal, then you should see a quest marker on your map. You should be able to access your map from the journal page.

 

 

 

 

Right, it was definitely borked then, selecting the quest in my journal showed no marker on the map (though I did feel that was a bit cheaty anyway as you can't access the map when in an armbinder, but can open the journal and look at the map that way).

 

I'm hopeful that it might be sorted now - I'd forgotten that I removed Helpless owing to large amounts of errors. I've now used a save cleaner and got rid of a batch of orphaned scripts (on the pre-quest save), and now my papyrus log is generally only showing XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect errors. Fingers crossed for next time the event fires.

Not sure if its been asked or not Kimy, but could you set an option for the Rubber Doll quest to completely avoid the hood part, for those of us playing as Argonians or Khajiit, due to a lack of helmet model? It would be far easier than to bug someone into doing a completely new model.

Do the combat sex attacks have death alternative compatibility?

 

Combat surrender features its own defeat scenarios, so not really, no.

Kimy, I remember you said everything to do with the 5.0 update is set, and that is fine.  However, for a future update, I was thinking... seeing as you said Dasha's mod would be integrated into DCL,  what do you think about a special MCM slider under the 'events' tab for Dasha's items, similar to the aradia or estrus sliders that are already in place.  This way, when her new toys are released, we can increase their chance a bit to increase the likelihood of experiencing them.

 

My thoughts here being, all of these items are fun.  They are, however, much more fun when experienced unexpectedly.   It just isn't as much fun if you have to lock something on yourself...  The "oh shit, that just happened" factor is a lot more fun...

I have a quite radical suggestion. It probably won't fly, but I tell it anyway. :)

 

Lately I started to dread the time when I need to set up DCL for a new game. DCL has so many functions, it does so many things, so it takes a long time to set up everything. Since Kimy is reluctant to make a save option (and I can very much understand that), it is always takes more time to set this up than any other mod. Also, since it has so many functions, now I disable a lot of the features at once, because I don't use them. For example I always disable Self Bondage, it is annoying during a regular playthrough (which I usually do). Also I don't like most of the Collar quests so I try to disable them (actually even if you set every collar related slider to 0, you still get them from other functions, namely the punishing restraint from Solicitation.)

 

Anyway, my suggestion would be to make DCL modular. The main module would be the Cursed container part, which makes looting dangerous. Everything else would be an optional plugin, similar to the Captured Dreams, Estrus, Aradia stuff.

 

Plugin/module examples:

 

Quest addon: Al the quests which are unique to DCL. Collar quests, Courier in Chains, Bondage adventure, Rubber doll, etc. The player would get a list of these with checkboxes.

 

Solicitation addon: No explanation required.

 

Sex attacks addon: No explanation required.

 

Self bondage addon.

 

etc

 

 

While the current setup is somewhat similar with the MCM menu, it is not the same. Still everything is always there and needs to be configured one by one. 

 

At the moment I stopped using DCL and while I'm missing some features (Solicitation, Courier in Chains quests, etc), it is still a relief. A lot of functions can be achieved by using other mods, Like, Deviously Helpless, Defeat, Captures, etc. It is not the same, but they work. I'm still looking forward for 5.0 and see where the mod goes.

is it possible to export your cursed loot settings and store them away for a new character?

i keep restarting the game because of new mods to test and i usually tend to spend most of my time in adjusting back the DCL settings. :P

 

just like how sexlab allows you to export settings then import them when a new character is made ? i would like that as well

 

 

It's not that I didn't announce that exact feature for the 5.0 update like 2-3 times already. :D

With the 5.0 update, you will be able to save your settings and import them into a new playthrough using the MCM. You will only need to set it up once, and then any character you make will be able to have those settings already set without having to go through it all again. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm really not trying to be rude or anything, but this would be somewhat pointless after we get the new update. Especially since doing it the way you suggested would require several .esp files to be in the load order, and many players just can't afford using up that many extra slots when there really isn't a point to it anymore.

So... I got the "Little Bondage Adventure" quest from a corpse in Embershard Mine.  I have a couple of questions.

 

1). I had the sharp item fail to remove my armbinder.  Is there a way I can fix that without using the safeword?  I don't want to cheat my way out of the quest, but if I have a bugged armbinder I may not have a choice?

 

2). To succeed the quest, where do I have to make it back to?  I suspect the dead body in Embershard will be gone before I can manage to get back to there... do I need to get to a town, or what do I need to do to complete it?

 

EDIT:  Nevermind, I think I figured it out.  I couldn't open my map directly, but I can open it from the quest journal so I see the marker now.

 

I absolutely love this mod, btw.  First mod I have found that really makes Devious Devices work for me.
