The quest giver/target is supposed to remove it, but yes...currently doesn't seem to. It should work in 5.0. Until then, I am afraid the safeword is your friend. Don't feel sad about using it, this armbinder isn't supposed to be on you after the quest ends, so all you're doing is fixing a bug. Hi, Thanks for the reply, that's good new . With Combat Surrender on, my character drops to zero health and stays there, and can't die and won't surrender. Basically God-Mode, and can't manually surrender. Was there a fix for this that I missed, or do we know what causes it? Sorry if I'm just dumb and didn't see it, I really did search! Thanks

Uninstall, launch game, new save, close game, use save cleaner, reinstall, try again? Might sound incredibly anal but its worth a shot right?

Ok, so this means it was a Hi-sec armbinder the BA gave me. Could we have the dialogue to remove the Hi-sec devices from any blacksmith at the difference it would cost a lot of money if it is not the right blacksmith (the one from the quest) that removes it. Could be also that we get enslaved by the blacksmith, who just remove the belt but keep the other device and prostitute us. He would keep us around and we would be use to pay him for the removal of all the items . Thanks.

The Combat Surrender feature is bugged in the newest version. The only "fix" is to wait for the 5.0 update.

No, that's an actual bug I was able to reproduce. It will be fixed in 5.0.

Also wondering if it could be possible that if you have a follower, and you get tied up, the follower decides to use you to earn some gold, and after that (maybe), will unlock you

As for the keys, I don't think every item should have that, atleast not without an MCM option. I do love the idea of more items that require multiple keys to unlock though, the slave chastity belt for example.

With standard settings I have over 30 yoke keys for some reason... while my others are quite low. The Yoke Key drop chance isn't even set high (2.5%). Any thoughts? I don't use other mods to drop keys.

I also use the needed key option. Maybe something with that is borked?

Devices could also be made of various materials where some materials would be easier to break than others while some would be virtually indestructible. The locks could have different qualities and some locks just might be broken from the start. If you fall over you might get dirt into a lock and keys would no longer fit the lock (could still use picks probably). Some locks could also rust (picking impossible and depending on the level or rust keys might not work either). Locks could maybe also freeze and obviously could not be opened before the ice melts. Overall I think the devious devices revolve too much around keys these days and next obvious step would be making the whole situation less binary where you either have the key or don't. But obviously the whole thing would require a lot of work and probably will not happen but....
Knightraven8 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I use the settings to only drop keys when restrained because I don't like already having a bunch of keys to immediately free myself if I get any devices. I have the cursed loot chance at .3 percent with a .1 weight for arousal, with a max of 15 items, and key percents set fairly low (all between 1 and 3 percent, depending on the difficulty of the device). This way I don't get placed in devices too often (unless I'm defeated of course!) but when I do they are difficult to escape. The normal keys (chastity, restraint, and piercing tools) all only drop if I'm actually restrained. The yoke key, rubber restraints key, and the living key all drop even if I'm not restrained, and with useful keys turned on as well. I basically just ignore them if I see them, but they seem to spawn regardless of the actual settings.

Do you have any solution on how to tell the mod to stop seeing this as a clothing piece? Or is there an MCM setting for that?

This makes for a more interesting playthough Yeah, that'll happen if you've left the "arousal threshold for full set" at its default value and elect not to have a little fun before looting.
xionfenix Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Been using this mod for a while now and as I just started my new, kind of experimental playthrough I was wondering if there was any way to mark one's equipped clothes as "naked" for the mod to recognize this or not. I already checked it in SL Arousal but it doesn't seem to hook into it. Or at least I don't get any messages about it. It's not a really... big thing would be pretty cool to have nonetheless.

Is there some way to put a timer after each common cursed event while the player couldn't use their key on the device for no insta-remove ? PS: could you spoil some news on the next update =) ?
