Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

Hi, everything was fine, all the devices were visible, but now my hands and feet are becoming invisible. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Heya.

Finally getting back into Skyrim after eons, wanting to try and do a new playthrough, my modlist is relatively light loaded (Or, I imagine it is?) but I've having a straight crash to desktop when leaving Riverwood.

 

After combing my mods, I'm having to assume it's Cursed Loot and something to do with the Chloe quest. Or so goes my theory. I'm crashing around where the INN marker is from the mod is on my map. Any idea what's causing the crash, workarounds/a fix, or if there's anything I can provide to help narrow down if this actually is the cause?

Is there a way around the carriage drivers saying sorry I can't undt you during the courrier in chains quest? I tried wait 24 hours a bunch of times but he still won't let me use the carridge

No, on LE there's no way to use the vanilla carriage when you're bound with a yoke or armbinder because no-one had made the animations back when this mod was still supported.

If you insist on using a carriage, you could either try CFTO (but I have no idea if that's DD compatible) or Devious Carriages which resorts to a black screen.

 

If you don't care, open the console for "enablefasttravel 1" and fast travel wherever you want. For role playing purpose, you can use that to only go to destinations where the coach would get you, too. In case you haven't unlocked the fast travel marker, use coc in the console, get your destinations from uesp wiki.

I have problem with Bondage adventure quest not ending. i Walked all the way back and when i talk to the guy there is no option " I made it back" and the quest is still running. What is the console command for this problem?

In the MCM menu try the "FREE ME" Button and then terminate all quests?
Mind you, this will terminate ALL Devious quests and remove any related devices if you're wearing anything else.

i tried that and it did not work. I tried to kill the npc and resurrect him and that did not work either.

Maybe some people like to spend time watching their character move at a crawl through Skyrim, but not everyone.  Perhaps you could add an option labeled "I am impatient" which reduces the quest boot slowdown to something livable like 80% and disallows leg binders and extreme hobble skirts.

how do i clean up the garbage for the supply and demand quest? I'm bound so i cant interact with anything. i can't even open up the menu.

You just use the activate key, typically E - but you should not be bound with more than the pink dress and heels. This mod disables the cursed traps during the Bound in Skyrim quest arch, so you seem to have other mods interfering here. Same with being unable to open the menu. Disable those mods and try again - or don't go to Helgen and never meet Chloe.

As Captainj03 said you probably have another mod interfering. There are probably a hundful of mods that could be the culprit but my guess would be DDEquip as it has options to make "heavy bondage" (anything that binds your arms) more debilitating, including preventing activation and menu use. I usually turn most if not all of the heavy bondage options off myself as they can break basically everything.

Can't enter the Whip and Chain Inn. Everytime i try, the loading screen went black and thats it. No more loading. 
 

Any idea how i can fix it?

Been a while since I've set up my LE (am on AE in the meantime)

 

Try to tweak skse.ini with

[Memory]
defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=2048
scrapHeapSizeMB=256

 

and if that isn't enough, install SKSE Plugin Preloader and ENBoost

Thanks a lot those tips has helped me to get a bit faster and more stable Skyrim.

But it hasn't fixed my issue. The Whip and Chain in won't load after all

I remember there being issues with missing HDT causing crashes in some locations but not in general. do you have it installed/setup properly?

I got hit by a trap and it locked ceremonial DDs on me. What key can unlock them? Noneof the standart keys does.

Sounds like quest items from Devious Lore (and as Elsidia said, shouldn't happen with this mod)

Some mods (like Devious Curses NG) just add any DD stuff to the list of possible items to lock on you.

Try to add the keys from DL via AddItemMenu

Yup, they don't. You need a Simple Skeleton Key - that's how Devious Lore renames the plain restraints key.

But - you have unforgiving devices installed, that may alter the unlocking mechanic.

You want to remove a chastity belt, you need chastity key. Although wasn't it Ornate Key in Devious Lore? I'm not sure.

 

Maybe it was also from the Lore Patch addon from that mod, which is not required to have the Devious Lore main mod.

Nope, I have an ornate key and it doesn't work. Simple Skeleton key it was.

I don't recommend using lore patch from this mod, it overrides many devices, negating edits made from newer DD NG versions etc.

Ceremonial set is set of standard chastity devices, opened with standard chastity and restraints keys. Got those plenty of times, worked fine, Skyrim AE 1170, DD NG, UD, Devious Lore without lore patch.

If no keys can be used - I blame lore patch.

Sorry mate, you're in the wrong thread. There's neither DD NG, nor AE 1170 on this side of the divide.

Cursed Loot together with Devious Lore and the patch work fine - you just need to have the right keys.
