Hello. Got a problem with "The Whip and Chain Inn" quest. Dollmaker sent me there, but the bouncer Michelle doesn't have any dialog options at all. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Was there recently a vampire invasion or some other combat going on?  Sometimes NPCs get stuck  in combat mode for no discernable reason.  Click on  her in console and type 'stopcombatalarmonactor' and then try to talk to her again.  Might be the problem.

No, it didn't work. Problem still persists.

Saving and loading didn't work either? (Cause that fixed it for me)

Maybe you just need to forcefully open the door with console: "unlock".

 

If things go as intended you'll be starting Bound Queen. If it doesn't happen like for me, again give that book to yourself with console.

I just figured out how to make the Bondage Adventure tolerable.  Just use a Universal Key to remove the extraneous stuff (especially the movement speed restricting dresses and the chastity gear) and you're left in the Inescapable Armbinder, which is all the quest really needs.  Put on the ballet slippers if you use a barefoot speed penalty mod, and off you go.

Save\load and opening the door through console don't work either. If I open the door with console command everyone inside also doesn't have any dialog options except for trading.

 

And if I start "The Bound Queen" quest with console (giving myself the book), after it points you to go back to Melanie, she and everyone inside don't have any dialog options still.

Of course, I want to say, again, how I really appreicate the ton of hard work you do to make the game amazing. To be honest I would say I am playing DCL with Skyrim just being an excuse for getting in various predicaments.

Is anybody else having an issue where Combat Surrender works but never leads to any animation/scene unless you enter the Debug tab of the MCM? And if so any idea how to fix? Thanks all!

Last big update (iirc) DCL was updated shortly after DD because Kimy had been working on them simultaneously.  But looking at DD's contributors list it seems that Kimy was mostly alone with this DD version so she may not have been able to do DCL yet.  Pure speculation on my part, hopefully its wrong.  :)

Heyyah!

 

My mod broke somehow and I no longer get put in devices by force. I tried to soft-reset the chances but nothing worked. All that seems to be left to me is to just eradicate the mod from my save and reinstall it afterwards.

 

Is there any other way to reinstall the mod or reset the values without deleting every progress with for example quests or the follower lvl?

Did you check in the MCM, I think it's in the debug tab, if a quest was running and you were not vulnerable to the traps? If you've started Chloe by accidentally thinking of Helgen, IIRC you need to do the Bound in Skyrim quest arch until after Learning the Ropes. Until you've finished that, traps just won't trigger - which is another reason why I dislike the quest arch.

I actually started and finished Bound Queen but the qeust bugged out and I cannot finish it.

Ignore keyholder, I started it as a test as well as Tentacle Parasite.
I do no longer get trapped in any devices nor do NPCs remove any devices if i put them on. Basically half the mod no longer works.

Have you done any big changes to your load order during your playthrough, such as installing DD 5.2? Also just uninstalling DCL, saving, reinstalling DCL would also be very harmful for your save. Same with almost any mods that include scripts. It is extremely difficult to fix that kind of broken save even with script cleaner, it's not enough to only use its standard functions to remove orphan ID's (and when you start removing something else you can break other things).

 

About not being able to wear DD's, go through your equipment in console details window. You might be wearing something hidden.

 

Also if you do want to safely uninstall DCL you first need to go in its MCM debug tab and turn off all its functionality and then save. On same debug tab is also the "Free me!" button which will stop all quests and let traps trigger again. It would also terminate that parasite quest and leftovers of bound queen.

I've got a broken device on me that I can't remove.  It is a Buttplug (xx07b5bb) that was put on me by Leon when I accepted him as master after doing his quest.  If I click on it as if to remove it, its only options are to Put In and Carry On, and it is referred to as a vaginal plug in the popup window.  If you try to put it in, it says "Your backside is filled with an anal plug already!"   Carry On of course does nothing.  If I use DCL's FREE ME, it isn't removed, and if I use DD (5.2 btw) its removal process doesn't see it (explicitly states "No devices on player").   If I try to remove it and its invisible counterpart xx07b5bc via console, they just come right back.  

 

Right now its just annoying, but I use Fill Her Up and SLS so there's gonna be a problem in the not too far future.

 

Wait, I got it off by tricking it somehow by having my inventory open and trying to take it off there and then going to console (with the inventory window still open)  and removing the two objects there and somehow that worked.   So great, my problem is fixed.  But someone needs to look at that buttplug and fix it.  :)

Sometimes you need to "player.removeitem" all 3 of the items: inventory, rendered and ArmorAddon. You may need TES5Edit to look up all those ID's, then write them down somewhere.

 

Actually just inventory and rendered removal is normally enough, i've only ever once had to remove the ArmorAddon too.

Not sure if this "brute force" fallback still works on DD5.x, but my last resort for when a broken device stubbornly refused to go away was the "player.resetinventory" command. Obviously empty your inventory into a container before using it (at least everything which you want to keep, lol)

So ... I'm using SkyFurry 'cause why not, and it turns out that, from a quick glance, most items will be rendered invisible ... any solution aside from uninstalling the other mod ?

Learn how to patch the items so they show up on skyfurry's races. It will need a patch similar to the included Beast Race Refit mod.

Assuming that you actually built the bodyslides and the items show up normally without skyfurry.

 

you could probably use this as a base to start from. You might also join the skyfurry discord and check with those folks. Note that 5.2 has DDa, DDi, and DDx integrated, along wit BRRF. You don't need the separate downloads this mod mentions.

Yup ! I completely forgot to build the meshes in bodyslides, since I'm umh ... extremely new to modding anything xD

Did build 'em and now they all work perfectly fine and daaaaaaamn it feels good to play Skyrim again, now with added spice !

Hey all - I'm on Bound Queen and have now crawled like 5 dungeons, but no diary fragments; is that normal? The MCM Debug menu says the chance of a cursed loot event is non-zero, so it should be working.

They specifically need to be Draugr infested dungeons, not Dwemer or Falmer or Bandit.

I got annoyed and ended up console-ing the fragments. I've now found the key fragments, had them assembled and pickpocketed Julius, but I have no idea where to find the proper key. Any chance I could get a hint?

How do you get out of the restraints the Daedric prince puts on you in the end?

 

Thats why I don't check the box for a going away present.  Or however it is phrased in the MCM.   :)   Uh, they might be removable by a blacksmith, but I think I just gave up and went with DCL's FREE ME button.

I love you, @Kimy - but this feels like kind of a "f**k you" to fans.

HOWEVER...you've made a masterpiece of mod engineering, and so I'll hold out faith that the next update will free my poor ... fuck ... I forgot my character's name lol

Except for the end part, I wholeheartedly endorse this mod. It's difficult at times, but pretty well balanced. And kinky. VERY kinky
