How long does the Dollmaker advert quest last? Because it's been quite a while and it hasn't removed the suit yet. Also, the safeword in the MCM doesn't work on the suit.

I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me regarding the Dollmaker and related question.

 

My main one is how to trigger the quests relevant to her?

I can only seem to find the rubber doll quest and the one where she's the keyholder for the player.

Aren't there other quests for one to do for her? Do I have to complete any particular quests before I can start getting the other things you can do with her?

DCUR bug causing DD to complain with installation, something like "Warnig Coflicting Devices". By the way with 'sqv' to dcur_menuconfig i get all aliases filled except dcur_morthalmarker which is NONE. Exactly this one:

I have a lot of problems getting this mod installed properly. I've experimented a little by now since I can only be at home Friday to Sunday and by now I believe I have a outdated version of zaz since nobody else seems to have problems using loot.

 

If someone could be so friendly to give me a working load order I would be delighted. When I get to my PC I will upload logs and load order.

No idea about the safeword. In the current version of DCL, the suit does not get removed automatically. No idea if that's intended or not, however:

 

try to inspect the suit in your inventory every now and then. Click on it, a pop up menu will open with a few buttons. After some time of wearing it, you will be able to remove the suit yourself.

You should be able to inquire about Sasha any time ("Who's that girl?" or something like that). If you have enough coin, you can get yourself a new follower. The billboard quest and the Indebted Customer *might* require you to not be wearing a locked suit/dress when you inquire. The Tie Me Up! quest should be available at any time, because you have to put on the suit yourself in it. It should also be possible at any time to barter your used restraints in exchange for keys. It's all in her dialogue options.

You should be able to drop Cursed Loot about anywhere in your load order. LOOT handles it fine and all other DD related mods that I've tried too, check if you have the latest versions of the mods and also LOOT and its master list installed. The only possible issue that I can think of is town/city overhauls, Cursed Loot should probably go below them. Certainly below ETaC, with which it conflicts a little but not in a game-breaking way. And read the download page carefully, Kimy has put a lot of useful advice there.

My current, rather heavy but so far (lvl 13) stable load order (but attention, it includes PerMa, a few merged mods and custom built .esp's, so don't rely to much on it. :

Hmm. I am able to ask about Sasha, but prompts for the billboard and the indebted customer quests seem to be a mistery for me.

Can you tell me more about how to get to them? I'm rather interested in the questing related to this gal!

 

Edit: I reinstalled the mod and was able to get the billboard quest going!

However, I'm still intrigued as to what the indebted customer quest has going.

Not really a bug but an odd feature using combat surrender. New game just done High Hrothgar and I can get down to the outskirts of Whiterun in around three large jumps.

 

Obviously I should have died each jump but combat surrender keeps me alive without penalty, so could I suggest changing that to something like permanently losing a piece of armour for every fall where the pc should have died

Did you enable Captured Dreams in the DCL MCM? If you did, you should be getting CD device drops through DCL.

found last piece of Queen Sarah's gears while wearing billboard catsuit. Argh.
Now the damned set punishes me for wearing clothing that I just can't take off until an unknown amount of time has passed.

 

As mentioned various times before the set should not behave like this....but for the time being, anyone got any clues on how long the billboard suit stays on?

The catsuit shouldn't trigger punishments, are you sure you're not wearing anything else that could trigger it? Like boots, gloves, helmet or jewellery (depending on mcm setting)

Yeah, but losing armor would suck. I think something else would be easier to implement, like guaranteed high security restraints.

I'm getting a crash that has something to do with the new bound girls feature.  It seems like it happens when they're spawning in and the game equips devices on them, usually during a periodical update.  Here's my modwatch:

The parts that say "ERROR: Cannot call Moan() on a None object, aborting function call" are particularly concerning to me.  I don't know if that's what's actually causing this crash, but it definitely seems like a bug nonetheless!

Unless there's some way to specifically exclude unique gear/daedric artifacts from this list since other than the console, there would be no way to retrieve, say the Ebony Mail after it vanishes off your body by way of script or falls through geometry, and so I'd be reloading a previous save anyway, rendering the punishment moot. This is also why I disable all forms of "drop weapon on stumble/stun/disarm" at the first opportunity.

To me it's pointless having a penalty unless it has an effect. TBH I've never understood the attachment people have to bits of armour, in any case if it matters that much you can always use the console to get it back.

 

To me, it would be totally silly to say have a device fitted for falling off a rock.

For me, the attachment to the little bit of armor only extends so far as the uniqueness of it. I'm a collector/completionist at heart. My version of Skyrim has been centred around both SexLab and Legacy of the Dragonborn for the past couple of years, so for me to lose unique items is infuriating, but to use the console is a last resort for me, it feels unrewarding and cheat-y.

That's a little odd. The next thing I would suggest is to look through CD to see if you've disabled anything in that MCM, then if you can't find anything in there, post your load order, there might be a mod interfering with DCL and CD.

That's fair enough we all play in our different ways, personally I just stick with my Forsworn armour which is easy to replace.

 

I had another thought on how to handle this though which would also mean less work for Kimy and would hopefully fit in around everyone as it's already there.

 

So... how about when a pc falls off a mountain and should have died then the Wilderness event kicks in (100%) so they wake up somewhere with that mini game to get out of the bonds. Using some imagination it would fit, no doubt they blacked out when falling and some joker found them and tied them up (or something like that).
