DonQuiWho Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I use MO to manage mod priorities I can use MO to have JContainers 3.2.6 apparently overwrite the JContainers version included in MNC 9.3 If I do, will that work properly? What I'm not certain of is whether or not there are any custom files/scripts in the MNC implementation that will not be overwritten by MO and carry on over wrongly, or if the json file structure in MNC will still be managed OK by 3.2.6. TIA for any help offered

pocketpie Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 The animations added by this mod don't seem to register in the latest sexlab update. I'm about to update sexlab v1.62 then i saw your comment. Thanks for the heads up! Yep doesn't work with the new sexlab for now.

I seriously doubt either affects the registration of animations, but I haven't looked too far under the hood. Starting a new game will allow the animations to register, but I've had no luck on getting them to register on my primary playthrough that had the old version of SL. Yes, I've tried cleaning the save with the save cleaner, and scoured the data folder for stray files. Anyone have some non-condescending advice? I'd appreciate it.

I updated Creature Framework on an existing save. Should work fine for you as well, but there is always the option to reset all creatures if it stops working too.

telzey Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 i think i've finally tracked down the reason for the falmer warmonger problem that regularly pops up in this thread. at lv48+, high level falmer start spawning that are added by dawnguard, not vanilla skyrim. the vanilla json is looking for their stats in skyrim.esm, and they're not there. the dawnguard json doesn't have a category for them either. without that, they're unregistered creatures and mnc/slnc doesn't do anything about them. i feel like probably this can be fixed by editing the json in some way, but unfortunately i don't understand the mod well enough to do it myself.
Whizkid Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 JContainers and Framework are up to date, still cannot get the MNC animations to register on an older save. try this use the savetool and open the save file having the problem, on the left panel click on the plus to open up the Active scripts, look for any script name with mcm, if there is, try to identify which mods does the mcm belongs too. if u can do a ss and post it here it might help identify the problem

A few things that come to mind: - Did you remember to run FNIS to generate animations after you had installed everything? Not sure if this would really cause a crash, but it's worth noting anyway. - Do you have the latest version of FNIS and creature pack installed? - Does this happen with ALL creature types/races, or just with a couple of them? (skeever, troll, wolf, horse, fox, falmer, bear, draugr and so on) - When the creatures are NOT aroused, do they keep their vanilla appearance, or do they have 'unaroused' creature appearance? - Try with a new game, to see if it has something to do with data or settings carried over from older version. - One of the most common crash issues would be something wrong with meshes - broken, corrupted or missing mesh. I don't know what exactly would cause this though. It might get a bit complicated, but if you can install MNC and set the arousal limit high enough (e.g. 100) that the creatures won't be trotting around with boners the moment they see you (or maybe just disable aroused integration).. then find the 'aroused' armor appropriate for the creature, and use console to equip it 'manually'.. you could test if the crash occurs specifically when the aroused mesh is equiped on the creature. I've never tried doing this myself, but can't see why it wouldn't work. A dog, a horse, a goat or another non-aggressive domestic animal would be a good test subject.
ronniet23 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 I put all the indevidual folders within Data and merged Textures with textures, mesh with mesh ect. the only file is the Actual Fomod Folder, do i put that folder in Data or extract the XML's too data? To be honest, i'm not so good in manual mod installation therefore I'm afraid t suggest your what to do. I don't want you to mess up something. I always you mod managers. Don't do anything.Leave the fomod folder as it is

I also get the "Creature framework API reference not found" message occasionally on load as well. Has anyone encountered this issue and been able to find a fix?

I was getting that as well, it appears that installing Aroused Redux, but leaving the ESM disabled, solved it. Apparently it's referencing a script or something. Just download the loose pack for AR and try that?
