I can't get creature framework working. when I load a save it gives me the error: framework API reference not found. It seems that when I run FNIS it isn't generating for the creature framework because I don't see it on the list but I made sure to install properly and don't see why this might be.

So I've been debugging my own mod (so I've had logging on) and noticed something for when my game crashes on load which I 'think' has to do with the mod combination in nasty critters.

I have a feeling this is some sort of save corruption? Which is strange.. because this is a save from Helgen still... (Just before the bear) It doesn't always show up, generally I just crash before the log even saves (hence the time stamps). I did some testing tho and running without MNC fixes the issue, I can even run just the framework and it seems to run fine (although I still get the missing API error people have mentioned.)

 

Of course chances are there's something wrong on my end, if anyone has ideas please let me know.. lol

It could be script related as the more scripted mods you have the higher the chance you have to crash on load especially on older computers. A easy way to see if that is the case is to start your game when you get to the load/start new game screen hit the ~ button and type in COC qasmoke this will warp you to the games testing cell. From there bring up your load screen and select the save you are trying to load and hit ok. If it loads up fine then you know that is probably from too many scripts loading at the same time. Because when you start your game and go straight to the load and load a save it will try to load all scripts up at the same time which will cause the game to CTD.

I'm having trouble getting SexLab Werewolves to work with the combination of MNC 9.3, Creature Framework 1.0.1, JContainers 3.2.6, and Mod Organizer. MNC's built-in Creature Framework and JContainers are disabled/not installed. No matter what I do, and no matter what options are selected on installation of SexLab Werewolves, werewolves have human-style penises and never get erect even during sex. SexLabWerewolves.esp is at the end of my load order. I have SOS installed, with Smurf Average disabled for werewolves and Bad Dog Hoodie Schlongs V3 which doesn't even list an option for werewolves. Everything else is working perfectly, and the game is perfectly stable. Anyone have any ideas what I'm missing?

 

Werewolves can be a bit finicky.. although they should work just fine if you install the right things and mind the install/load order.

(MO is highly recommended, of course.)

 

Here's the list of mods I currently use, which has Werewolves working splendid, either using MNC or letting SoS take care of things:

Using that setup and load order, I can pretty much decide freely if I want to let SoS handle the werewolf schlongs or have MNC take care of it. A little note about Schlongs of Skyrim, though - most of the addons will not work on werewolves. So far only the ones bundled with SoS (VectorPlexus Muscular/Regular, Smurf Average) seem to actually be working right. If you have other schlongs installed, DISABLE their distribution, as even some who claim to be compatible with werewolves might just leave you with an empty crotch - so, when you get that problem, try assigning one of the default schlongs first.

 

If you let SoS handle them, you'll need to disable the Werewolves for MNC, of course. (I found it works best if you re-register all mods in Creature Framework first, close out of the MCM, wait a moment, then return to the MCM and set the werewolves in MNC to disabled.) Make sure you also disable distribution of any werewolf-incompatible schlongs to the player if you plan on becoming a werewolf yourself.

 

The other way around, to let MNC tak care of it, simply disable distribution of all schlongs to werewolves and enable them in MNC. Choosing a schlong that is werewolf-incompatble for the player might just work to have the best of worlds there. Otherwise you'll get overlapping schlongs on the player werewolf.

Although, theoretically Moonlight Tales should already have that built-in. You will need to disable its skin system and choose the Mighty Beasts werewolf variant. I found you really don't need SexLab Werewolves, unless you want it for another reason, like its females. You can easily get its werewolf sex feature just using something like SexLab Random Sex or such, as well. I'd probably prefer Erundil's Werewolves instead of SexLab Werewolves if you want an alternative.

 

 

Thanks for the detailed reply! It looks like we're running exactly the same mod versions, (though I don't have Moonlight Tales) and I rearranged my order to match yours to no apparent effect. I uninstalled SexLab Werewolves and installed Erundil's plus Defeat in its place, and now I have the desired genitals mesh and better textures besides. Unfortunately, the player werewolf (I'm not sure how to conveniently test NPC werewolves) still does not become erect during sex. Other creatures work fine and werewolves are not disabled in page 7 of the Creature Framework MCM panel. The SexLab Nude Creatures MCM panel has no enable/disable options and contains text telling me to use the Creature Framework panel instead. The player is set to use the Bad Dog Hoodies schlong, which lists no option for werewolves in the SOS menu so I assume it's werewolf-incompatible. Smurf Average is disabled for werewolves. Any ideas?

You can just disable SL arousal in CF MCM menu. That might solve your problem. If you disable Aroused mod (esp) from your load order, you might have a problem with other mods not running properly and you'll get more CTDs.

Why dont you install HentaiCreatures.esp ? you must have CreatureFramework.esm, MoreNastyCritters.esp, SexlabNudeCreatures.esp SexlabNudeCreaturesDG.esp SexlabNudecreaturesDB.esp HentaiCreatures.esp if you install MNC correctly. Pls check the 1st page for instruction how to install this mod and all requirements .

 

 

It's not the first time, I install mods and HentaiCreatures is not needed, right? I just want to have creatures, that change their meshes/textures (schlong) when an animation is starting. I don't want to train animals or something like that.

 

But when you tell me, it works just with HentaiCreatures ...OK. But somehow I can't believe that. :-/

 

 

Just to be clear, only "CreatureFramework.esm, MoreNastyCritters.esp, SexlabNudeCreatures.esp" are truly "required".  The others:

 

SexlabNudeCreaturesDG.esp - "Semi-required": only useful if you have Dawnguard DLC (will CTD if installed without DLC).

 

SexlabNudecreaturesDB.esp - "Semi-required": only useful if you have Dragonborn DLC (will CTD if installed without DLC).

 

HentaiCreatures.esp = Completely optional:  Must have BOTH Dragonborn and Dawnguard to use it (or will CTD if installed without both DLC), but is not required to be installed.  I never have HC installed for any character.  I also never have any problems with Animal schlongs not appear (see my link in my signature).

ctest is better as its a much much smaller cell.

Is your player character getting a boner otherwise, when he is not a werewolf?

(And you can easily test werewolves, since you have MNC installed anyway, by using the Hentai Werewolf spell to summon one.)

 

Also, make sure you configured everything correctly, like Sexlab Aroused to actually use Schlongs of Skyrim, etc. So go through everything SoS and Sexlab related and check if they have some config option to enable support for something you're using. (Some mods have options for Aroused, others need an option set for SoS, others for Sexlab.. you get the drift.)

 

Also, make sure to check especially Sexlab and your XPMSE3 that they report all dependencies as found. If you get '?' one some (especially XPMSE3), then just close out of the MCM, switch to third-person view and zoom in and out for a few seconds, then return to the MCM and check again. If you still get '?', then you might be missing something.

 

Otherwise a more detailed list of your mods and load order would be helpful. =)

I installed the plugin-fix thingy, it actually didn't help. I did end up fixing my issue tho, or at least the crashes part. I was running with-out ENB in this install to try and have my system's resources as open as possible, I just installed my ENB preset (Unbleak for life) and configured all the .ini files properly regarding memory and it works fine now. (Skyrim makes no sense to me >.>) (note : I probably had something configured incorrectly before - Creatures API error message still shows up 3/5 loads tho and completely breaks my game if I try to play after the error)

just updated to 9.3 and none of the dogs (dogs, huskys armoured and unarmoured, wolves and Judah didn't test death hounds) or the horses have dicks in the animations they have the balls and the sheath but that's it I've been using hentai creatures to test as I'm currently in a dwemmer dungeon (something beginning with A) as have no creatures that are easily accessible at the moment I've not tested all the creatrures just yet and I've looked in creature framework to see if I just needed to try something different but there's only the option to either disable or use sexlab nude creatures. I think I had this problem or very similar when I last updated (which was 9.1 I believe) I tried searching the topic to see if I could find the solutionthat was used then but I couldn't find it. can anyone help?

Did anyone answer this? I'm using SL 1.61b (the newest one) I even use the fomod this time like a good little dummy... I had to start a new game twice before CF registered. It's working now. But, in the past, it's stopped registering in the middle of my playthrough. How do I fix this?

I know, HentaiCreatures is optional, it was always optional. I'm just frustrated. ;)

 

I can't register mods in CF MCM because as you can see on my last screenshot, I don't have this menu and I don't get it. MNC works pretty good in the past but now the swaping meshes are broken somehow. No problems with animations here, I'm just missing the creatures schlongs while animations are playing.

 

I tried the newest Jcontainer / CF versions and these which came with MNC9.3 but nothing works.

Im having a small problem with this mod. Some animations like the dragon tongue and the chaurus hunter animations are a bit off. The player character is placed off track, like the character hovering a bit above the dragon tongue.

I can't get creature framework working. when I load a save it gives me the error: framework API reference not found. It seems that when I run FNIS it isn't generating for the creature framework because I don't see it on the list but I made sure to install properly and don't see why this might be.

Did anyone answer this? I'm using SL 1.61b (the newest one) I even use the fomod this time like a good little dummy... I had to start a new game twice before CF registered. It's working now. But, in the past, it's stopped registering in the middle of my playthrough. How do I fix this?

Alright, I've been trying to look up different fixes and what not, but I keep having the problem of my player's torso suddenly disappearing during the animations. Figured it had to do something with a previous body altering mod I had installed, so once I got rid of that, I thought it'd be fixed. But it didn't.

 

Anyone know what could be wrong? And its only the torso that ends up disappearing. Hands, legs, feet, head, everything else sticks around. Its just the torso.

Otherwise, everything works fine. Or so I think they do.
