I've played through the entire Animal Mansion questline, no crashes outside of what I believe are related to other mods, I tried to stress test it by playing with over 100 mods installed (if you count the DLC, High Resolution Pack, Unofficial Patches, FNIS Animations, SkyProc Patches and SKSE Plugins; all using Mod Organizer), I seem to get way too many Werewolf customers, along with Draugr, and no Bear, Spider or Sabrecat.

 

My CTDs seem to be mostly related to my AFT mod, but I resolved it by simply dismissing all followers, also I quicksaved and exited the game periodically to minimize loaded animation scripts.

 

Unfortunately despite having relatively powerful hardware to run Skyrim and not using any EMB, my system still needs a new power source, something along the lines of 750 or 800, without it, I suffer from overheating so my windows crashes (not too often) to save my hardware from damage, thus disabling me from giving more accurate stats.

 

 

Yup. 750 + power source is a must. It's shocking to me how many times someone gets a super beast of a machine with a power source that can't run half of it.

Yup. 750 + power source is a must. It's shocking to me how many times someone gets a super beast of a machine with a power source that can't run half of it.

 

 

 

Yeah okay, I deserve that... I should have known at the time... "gee this new mother board is 20% larger then my old one, this processor fan is twice the size and my new video card too, and twice the memory, will my 600 P.S. handle it? hmmmmm... let's add one extra fan to be safe..."

I appreciate your reply and your continued work on the mod, I would be more then happy to help you test it, I am glad to say (please excuse my possible boast) that I participated in beta tests before, mostly MMOs, but this would be my first attempt at testing a mod, I'm worried my inexperience on the matter would not be enough.

 

Aside form that as I stated in my first comment, I suffer from hardware overheat until I get a new Power Source, though they seem rare and finicky, some Games which don't use up much processing power do not affect my PC at all, such as Dragon Age: Origins & II, while others like Metal Gear Rising seem to cause it at varying times 2-8 hours from start up.

 

And I still have to finish College, that's a bummer.

 

Despite my problems, I am still interested in helping in any way I can in my free time, if you still wish/require it.

 

If so, let me know so that I can provide you with my system specs, and mod list (I installed mostly popular mods from both nexus and sexlab, I stay away form Steam Workshop since I don't like their policies and their collection isn't much to look at either, so it may match most Common User mod lists)

I do understand what you mean, I also use to be a beta testers in ALOT of games, like SWTOR, Star Trek Online. and such :)

the beta tester rules are very simple, bug report via pm, screenshots if possible. and then any information you can provide

such as what you were doing, when it happened, can you reproduce it?, payprus logs

never share the beta test files with any one. regardless who may ask.

oh lol, I've been writing all my ideas down in a pdf for quests, sidequests, dialog, setting up a second animal mansion in whiterun that YOU run and have to gather all the animals again but with completely new story lines, ways to add new animals for variety (husky for the mansion, and a sidequest for you to go visit a master vampire and he watches you fuck either a gargoyle or death hound)

 

And a "kennel" in which is a caged room with 4-5 dogs in there and female customers would pay you to go in there to get breed repeatedly until all the dogs are satisfied. (when in game it would be a room you can walk by and see 2-3 women getting fucked by dogs and 2-3 dogs waiting there turn). and of course its a room you can go into aswell! :D

 

ive been having a lot of fun writing all this so theres a LOT of dialog :P

"Run you own Animal Mansion"? I like the sound of that, definetly curios to see what you came up with.

 

But that sounds more like a 2.0, at the very least 1.5 addition, I think we should let Jmathers concentrate on finishing good ol' 1.0 before we ask for an extention.

 

PS: I like your idea about Whiterun, everybody loves Whiterun, and it's got that wasted space to the Right that nobody uses (except for other modders, that could cause some compatibility issues) just begging for a new addition.

So I have downloaded this mod, powered through the quests, and are sitting with everything you can get (since sabercat and troll are unavailable atm) and the "can we have a party" is broken. I've saved right after the first party, but now, all parties break, no matter what options you choose. I finish the party prep quest, then don't get another quest or prompt after that. And then all convo options seem to disappear with Thaena. Thoughts?

yup!, thats why I havn't "unleashed" my ideas yet, and waiting for him to finish 1.0 and then he starts up his new forum page for expanding the mod. also i picked out a very lovely spot for the mansion that plays nicely with whiterun expanded towns and market :)

You don't need to ask me, I'm just a volunteer tester, as part of our agreement: I'm not allowed to upload/reupload/share (and/or possibly modify) any files that I receive for testing and delete any I receive after have served their function or at the behest of the author.

 

If you want to help just ask Jmathers, if not just keep sending bug reports on the current public build released, I'm sure he along with the rest of us on the forum will appreciate that.

in version 0.8P, and currently the troll quest is ready for the nex release

 

I am currently working on Fixing the Party quests & private shows.

I have a problem with Abelone quest ,after she mix the potion we go to the cave but in there ,the next stage won't trigger cant do anything with the falmer with mark any ideas? ,a stage code to finish or advance in the quest?...many thanks! ;)

This mod is great, but I'm just a few moments away from giving up on it. There is a new bug every time I try to fix one. I couldn't get the companions quest to work, so I tried removing a mod called Aroused Creatures. Now it doesn't even bring me to the companions hall.

 

Edit: I'll hang on to this mod until the next update, but I'm just amazed at how broken it acts.

Honestly sounds like a problem on your end and not the mod.  I've never had that quest break.  Usually blaming the mod should be the last thing you do.

Hi there. I'd like to take the opportunity and provide some careful feedback here, I hope you don't mind? I recently played that sabrecat-quest, which I assume was made entirely by yourself? Just some thoughts following (in spoilers for anyone not having played it yet)

 

I don't really get the motivation of the persons involved here. Yeah, I know, it's a friggin beastiality-quest in a fantasy-world and I am concerned with THAT? :D But it just rubbed me a little the wrong way.

 

 

 

First that farmer is acting all rather non-chalant about that cat continually raping farm-girls? We get there, see Victoria (?) getting raped, and she also is kinda, well, unaffected by all that? However, so far so good, but what is the point in having to convince the initial quest-giver that "we care about the cat" by fucking it five times?

 

Shouldn't everyone be happy that we take the cat away? It's not like the cat seems to belong to anyone, and they would have killed the beast anyway, wouldn't they? And five times is also a bit much for my taste (and that woman doesn't even follow my char to witness it!  :lol: )

 

Just an example of what would make more sense for me: You get there, get told about the cat and that we are too late, because they have hired a huntress already to take care of the beast. We go there, and of course the beast has overpowered the huntress and showing here who's boss...

After this, the cat is happy, and the huntress mightily pissed, and we have to calm her down, convince her that we do not have to kill the beast

 

Or, the huntress is not so much pissed, but actually seduced the beast to calm it down ^^ Then we have to convince her (which would fit the original "plot") that we are not here to kill the beast, but want to give it a new home, and then she asks to prove it, and we fuck the cat. And such a character could even play a role in future encounters/minor quests (I never get why some modders always create new chars instead of using already created ones and improving on them ^^)

 

 

 

Just a minor issue, as I don't really care about the sabre-cats anyway (boring animations!). All in all, I am just mightily glad the mod gets continued and hopefully improved. And it would be cool if you keep it somewhat "lorefriendly" or simply "not too over the top", if that makes sense (some Oblivion-mods come to my mind here...

 

Keep it up, I am looking forward where you take the mod :)

the dialog is something that definitely needs to be worked on, but i'm pretty sure thats an easy fix after he does all of the scripting and coding for future updates, maybe before the official 1.0 release of the mod he'll ask for some help with dialog which I would be happy to provide or see what others come up with :)

 

I personally love the idea of slutty huntress who captures animals and fucks them to tame them, then sells them to rich people and would occasionally call upon the animal mansion when a certain animal is proving to difficult to handle and needs an "expert" i.e. you

 

im adding it to my list of sidequest ideas :)

you are 100% correct there, prior to releasing version 1.0

I would ask everyone to report spelling mistakes, help with sentence structures and such.

 

that is absolutely no real worry, as long as the quests starts, and displays dialogues and the objectives and code all work, i'm happy

for now.

 

but at the moment, i got a Massive Problem i can't fix.

 

 

and it might end up Killing and / or completely reverting the mod back to version 0.6e

Have an issue with the dog and the girl. I try to finish the quest "Have fun with the dog" and nothing happens.

 

Need help completing the quest ;3.

 

Three things you should try if you haven't already

 

1. Making sure creature animations are enabled in SexLab

 

2. Making sure Dentarr's "More Nasty Critters" mod is installed correctly

 

3. Running FNIS to make sure the animations are working

Hello to all, , i just start to play this mod a week ago,, i have a problem that i dont find a quest of spider, wolf etc.. untill now i see that main quest has 5 completed in mcm menu, , and i try to talk with thaena but she gives me a same quest like dog trainer, hostler, dog sale and private show.. why i dont do another quest?? Please help me cause i so like this mod..

 

And also i didnt see the upgrade 0.1I . Untill now the last file i have just 0.1e version.. where i can find other files???

the download Was on page 94, post 1872.

you will find version 0.8P release notes there, but is now disabled.

The default setting for the mod requires you to complete 5 quests before advancing the quest stage - each of the main quests in the mod adds another animal to the Mansion's menagerie.

 

(You can change the number of quests in the MCM, but it's been known to impact the mod's reliability last I heard).

 

If you highlight that option on the MCM (don't click) the description at the bottom should tell you which quest stage is which.  Wolves are failry early (Companions), Spiders are later.

 

Until then, just keep doing the dog trainers/hostlers/private shows until Thaena's dialog options include "Any news" or "You look like you have an idea", etc.
