Grettings everyone,

 

I need everybodys feedback on this (or as many as possible)

 

i am currently debugging the private shows, when i am off my training seminar, so I would like to ask EVERYONE

using the following

 

Nexus Mod Manager / Mod Organizer

SKSE 1.7.01

Animal Mansion V.0.8P

ZazAnimationPack Main & Textures v0600

 

To run 30+  Private Shows, and record what animals you get and how many times.

this will help me figure out what exactly is working, and what isn't and how Random, the Random Feature is.

just make a simple list of all animals like below

 

*note please use the MCM cheat system, and set the quest progression to max for the test (so that all animals are unlocked)

*but save your game before hand for a way to revert back later, should you like to.

Bear =

Wolf =

Sabrecat =

Troll =

Horse =

Spiders =

Chaurous =

Werewolf =

Draugur =

 

when you done 30+, please submit your results on the thread.

 

I'm asking everyone to do this, incase my randomness is being evil to me.

I been doing about 20 + so far, and I noticed that I allways seem to get Both werewolf companions after each other, and that they show up way too many times.

 

I did one run yesterday. and out of 20 shows, I had the Companions about 40% of the time.

so I'd like to know if it's just me or others, along with what animal's are bugged in the private shows

here are my results of 31 shows (up to bear quest only, as i am bug hunting the randomness to see if i get a bear show)

 

Dog = 8

Bear = 0

Wolf = 4

Werewolf = 12

Draugur = 2

Horse = 5

I am sorry to have to ask you to stop posting false bug's on the thread, while I welcome bug reports.

you have to be using the following;

 

SKSE's loader

Nexus mod manager or Mod Organizer 

and all other requirements of the Mod

I won't ever use Skyrim launcher if having Sexlab on because skyrim launcher doesn't support the game to run scripts.

I use the nexus mod manager and I use SKSE loader. I have got installed all the lastest Sexlab and Sexlab creatures pack and Animal mansion. I set up my Skyrim yesterday.

However I spotted more bugs today - the companions' party quest ma_nq_wolf is not working properly for me (the competition stages 40,60,80 etc are not continuing on their self) I had to manually progress the quest via console.

Also if my character enters a scene with a horse, her skin turns to black and sometimes stays black after the scene until moving to any location.

Also, after getting the horse outside the Mansion (completing the horse quest), my game crashes on 75% of all entering the Animal Mansion (less % from the basement and more % from outside Skyrim)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I suppose I've installed all the things properly, and I would be very pleased if you know the solution to fix this, maybe this has happened to someone before me.

 

I'd like to participate on your research but I am not using the ZazAnimationPack Main & Textures v0600 mod (I don't install any more things to avoid more crashes)

the companion bug is known to me several users have reported the same problem, I am currently not entirely sure what causes it.

because it works fine for me, so I think it maybe a mod incompatibility but I'm not entirely sure why that is.

 

as to the horse skin turning black, that is a it might be a lighting error (what i am working on fixing next) if it's a texture error, I'll have to see about including the default texture aswell.

 

as for the participation you're more then welcome to join, but it is strongly preferred that you atlease use the Animation pack, as it Includes alot of animations, what seems to be the default on the forum.

 

But your SSL problems you had in a previous post, i had them before aswell, while running another mod it was caused by the other mod overwriting a file included in it's bsa file, that wasn't a stable version, so my game allways crashed.

 

Also, to reduce crashes, if you can sort the Load oder, try sorting it.

you should start off with Skyrim , unoffical skyrim patch, DLC1 , unoffical patch, etc for all the dlc's

then you should load, your skeleton, followed by hairs, eye's, tatto's skins (body mods)

then you should have  frameworks, sexlab, Schlongs o skyrim, etc, then beautification mods, then other mods

the compaion Vilja may cause that but I'm not sure.

btw I encoutered another bug. I invited 8 of 8 people till 5 PM to the 9PM party and I told that to Thaena. The quest Party Preparations got completed and the party never began and Thaena doesn't give any more quests than console.

you are correct, that quest does have a bug in it, and i have a fix for it lined up, by including the party in the system

quest line, you see, when you get it the 1st time, it's the only time that it works for some reason, i don't know why

it's doing it, but i found by doing it when you get it, with out doing other things first, it works.

 

*i will add all of Thaena's quests in the quest line to ensure the player avoids the bugs, at the moment thoe

I'm trying to figure out why the random "Private show" section skips animals, when they are set up all the same way.

 

I will have to ask the Original Designer why he's done some of the things, the way he has.

I'm still learning alot of his code since taking over the mod.

 

i get a bunch of CTD's aswell, and it is bewildering as to why.

my latest crash looks like this.

while this, i am not entirely sure if it is a bug, or standard how it's suppose to be (the papyrus log had this much higher up, so it didn't CTD it, and the animation for that worked fine)

i don't know why he assigned a temp value to alot of the stuff

while i am very experienced making mods, my knowledge of implimenting sex between 2 targets and general sexlab framework is

small, but I am learning and fixing bugs all the time.

 

so i fix bugs as i encounter them, that bug at the moment is my biggest problem as it causes CTD's

what i want to avoid at all costs.

Another frozen quest:
NA_JalaTraining. Quest stage 120 won't trigger. (Jala has tried out all animals and now Thaena suggests to do a little orgy, but nothing happens)
Edit: the trigger triggered together with stage 130 (end of the quest)

I think you should do own thread for this. Downloading would be much easier as well as updating the changelog

Hello Aziz,

 

you are correct, and that is a plan, once i Release Version 1.0 of the mod (how Sky_mds wanted the mod originally) is released

i will continue the mod on a new thread, adding more stuff in it, at the moment, i am only bug fixing and finishing off the quests that where in the mod.

 

at version 1.01 on the new thread, i will overhaul the mod completely, add back storys to characters, change / create  the story line for npcs

so that you no longer find the mansion build, I'm planning on a complete revamp, such as learning why theana is in falkreath, helping her build the mansion

(+expansions for the mansions for DLC users what will include DLC mobs, such as Reiklings)

 

I am currently debugging Private shows

when I was playing it, I didn't get to enjoy other animals, like the sabrecat, wolf, troll, and such, the Troll quest is about 50% completed, sabrecat is implimented and working, I fixed the Wolf private shows,  (I am fixing it so that once the player unlocks an animal it becomes available during the private shows immediately)

 

I included some pictures for everyone, as a small show and tell for the next update.

check the picture's name (hovering over the picture for a few seconds to see what the picture is referring to)

While I do have occasional crashes, I do not think they are related to the Animal Mansion. (At least in my case, since these crashes also occur with sex acts called by the mod "Sexlab Solutions" and really anything else that uses the Sexlab Framework. I just restart the game and then it usually works.)

No CTDs during acts but CTDs when I want to start a lady or normal party. Men-party is functioning. Everytime I want to start these 2 parties at 9 pm and Thaena starts walking downstairs I get a CTD.

reinstaling sexlabs and everything that's needed to run Animal mansion should do the trick

usualy when i get ctd from sex animations i reset the animation registry from sexlab and everything works again

That's all true. Every sexlab mod is going to CTD at some point. Starting an animation is a particularly delicate time. Skyrim simply is not good at handling the memory issues.

As far as holding up development on AM is concerned, it's probably not worth it. While auditing one's scripts and trying to find simpler solutions is always a good idea, Animal Mansion is responsible for CTDs only to the extent that it pushes memory handling. As in - starting 5 simultaneous animations during the Companions Parties. Three or four times in a row. Numerous animations played sequentially with several NPCs present (the Parties). How long has the game session been running, and how many animations have been crammed through the pipeline in that length of time? Those are just some examples where AM (or other animation mod) is bumping into Skyrim's capacity to handle such demands.

 

On top of all that, everyone's different installations and load orders, mods fighting with each other for system resources ... and etc ... it's a minor miracle that this stuff works as well as it does. And, by and large, it works very well indeed.

I am only holding it, so I can get my skyrim stable, so that i know if any new crash is mod related or not.

once I got is fairly stable, I will continue it, I am trying to get the mod as stable and bug free as possible.

 

 

the last thing i want to do is release the mod bugged to high heaven.

neither, its abit more then bare minimum but not a full.

i'm using a few extra mods to try and ensure compatibility between a few mods

such as sexlab arousal, SoS and so on.

IF Anybody would like to translate the current version of the mod(and any future versions),

please let me know, so that I can include your Tanslation text in the bsa file, it will then be included in all future updates,

what you can keep updating as new updates are released.

 

any translation is welcome, and new contents (dialogues) will be submitted to any translator prior to public release, so the entire contents is translated

I had one CTD a while back, but I think it may have been an isolated incident, because it's not happened since.  It was when Jala went to entertain an NPC with the horse outside the mansion.  Not long after she went outside I went to go to the basement, and just as I opened the door it CTD'd.

I've played through the entire Animal Mansion questline, no crashes outside of what I believe are related to other mods, I tried to stress test it by playing with over 100 mods installed (if you count the DLC, High Resolution Pack, Unofficial Patches, FNIS Animations, SkyProc Patches and SKSE Plugins; all using Mod Organizer), I seem to get way too many Werewolf customers, along with Draugr, and no Bear, Spider or Sabrecat.

 

My CTDs seem to be mostly related to my AFT mod, but I resolved it by simply dismissing all followers, also I quicksaved and exited the game periodically to minimize loaded animation scripts.

 

Unfortunately despite having relatively powerful hardware to run Skyrim and not using any EMB, my system still needs a new power source, something along the lines of 750 or 800, without it, I suffer from overheating so my windows crashes (not too often) to save my hardware from damage, thus disabling me from giving more accurate stats.
