4 keys?  Not sure how that could've happened, I only ever created one.  Is not a bad idea, stealing any keys you might have had; the guards could've done it before the Forsworn swiped your gear too.

I'm running DDftM so bandits can drop keys. I have it set at 5% chance but I thought I only had 1 or 2 when I started Cidhna but as I didn't specifically check it might be bad memory on my part.

 

Anyway, removing keys would be a nice addition and if it's the guards nicking your stuff they'd probably swipe your gold as well the thieving gits :D

I will definitely give this a try, looks like I will be hopping a carriage to Markarth tonight. ;)

And I am glad I did! This is a great addition to the Cidhna Mine experience.  The blindfold created a sense of helplessness that is profound, Well done. I've had no glitches at all so far.

This is probably what I love most about the mod : No glitch or bug whatsoever. You just install it and play. No constant patching, no compatibility issues, no nothing.

 

This mod is simply flawless. An awesome job you did there, stobor! :D

Glad you enjoyed it.  I'd like to think it is all skill, but a big part of the reason why this one is so trouble-free is the nature of the mod itself: a relatively simple concept, a well-controlled setting, and a fixed cast of characters.  There isn't much more to this mod than a couple of simple force-greet packages, the dialogue trees, and couple of hundred lines of supporting script; the rest is a matter of leveraging the contributions of other mods (and the original quest itself).

any idea if it is possible to re-do (as in using "resetquest" in the console) that quest without breaking the whole game ?

 

I doubt it.  A better bet would be to keep a save from just prior to the Cidhna Mine, and replay from there.

Right after blindfold and sex all of them started to attack my pc! how to fix this?

Sounds like you have the "no attack during sex" mod installed. It is a known conflict, which hopefully be fixed. In the meantime you'll have to choose between the two.

Great mod. Simple in concept, fun to play, works without a hitch. Gotta love how the application of just one DD item and a bit of dialog turns an easy quest into a hellish scenario.

When I talk to Borkul the Beast, he doesn't has the "come to arrangement" dialogue option. However, when I created a new character and did the quest line he did. My first character had been arrested for other crimes before doing the forsworn quest line. I have tried re-installing and the mod is last in my load order. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hmm, is your mod forcing the Zyn Double Penetration on the threesome scenes from your mod or is the problem with my game itself? I've downloaded Holt's animation pack, as well as de-activated Zyn DP for Aggressive while enabling the threesome scene from that pack for Aggressive, but I'm still getting the Zyn DP even if I toggle that animation off completely.

I never had a problem with this mod until I updated to the latest Devious Devices mods (Assets v2.8.1 and Integration v2.8.0). Now, neither the blindfold nor slave harness from Madanach get equipped. I don't even get them added to my inventory. I tried to pick Madanach's pocket, and he does not get the key either.??

 

The scripts seem to be running fine however, because the NPC's all still react as if I am wearing the items, and the dialogs trigger according to what I should be wearing. (So, it may just be a graphics issue?)

 

I could just go back to the earlier versions or try to re-install the new ones, but I was wondering if anyone else encountered this issue before I spend the time and effort to do that?  I'm hoping there might be an easier fix, like simply re-naming a mesh or texture?.

No, I've never tried using script cleaner.  I did run BOSS, then Tes5Edit and there were no conflicts displayed, so I thought I was OK.  Also, I did start a new game after installing this mod and the updates I mentioned above.

 

But, I'll try the script saver and see if it helps.  Thanks for the tip either way.

 

 

 

EDIT:  I downloaded and ran the script saver by Hadoram on a game save where I first entered Cidhna Mine; it didn't  help. If anything, the animations seem a little more buggy now .. sometimes out of sync .. sometimes my partner gets stuck and keeps going even after I walk away!

 

(Maybe I have more problems with my game than I thought?!)

@justbob2: If this was a new game, script cleaning should not do much of anything.

 

Does your MCM tab for Devious Devices work?  Do other Devious mods work?  If not, the problem is with your DD install (not this mod).

 

If DD is working in general, then try 'sqv DvCidhna_Quest' in console, check if properties like 'Blindfold' are filled in.

Thank you Stobor, there is no Devious Devices tab in my MCM menu!  I was trying so hard to be clever that I overlooked the obvious.

 

I looked back to the first save I made in this particular game (I was up to Lvl 13), and the menu wasn't there.  Then I went back to the save I ran the script saver on, waited about 5 mins (hoping it would update the MCM) and still no menu.  So I started a new game (without altering my mod plugins) and the DD tab came up in the menu just fine?!

 

I'm now beginning to doubt whether I indeed had the current Devious file versions installed when I started this game. I could try to re-install DD, but I think it would be easier to just continue with the new game I started, since the menu came up fine that time.  I'll just head to Cidhna mine earlier in the game to test it out. (I'll use Alternate Start and begin my game in Markarth.)

I don't know why, but that happens with DD from time to time - it just fails to show up in the MCM. It's the first thing I check now when I start a new game (which is ridiculously often these days thanks to all the great new mods and updates). If I don't see it, I exit and start again. It almost always shows up the second time, without me changing a thing.
