Now i should become the chiefs pet and nothing happens.

How should i fix it ?

After the Confusion to the Forsworn quest, there seems to be another quest with Thonar and Garvey.  Is this quest a completed quest?  It just seems to stop at Garvey.  Or am I missing something that takes me to the next quest point?

If I recall correctly, the last time I saw Storbor post about that quest he said it was unfinished.

In case this hasn't been brought up, LAL's "I'm a Forsworn" option screws up this mod. As soon as you approach Markarth and a guard sees you, (other holds in the reach may trigger it as well), they'll arrest you and throw in you the mine without ever having gone through "The Forsworn Conspiracy."

Really?  I've used LAL's Forsworn option several times, and never run into a problem with Devious Cidhna.  Admittedly, I've never tried going to Markarth and started the quest right away, I've usually headed to Solitude first, then to Whiterun, joined the Companions, started the main quest, etc.

Did you go to Markarth first, without joining any other faction?

Yeah, it was pretty much the first thing I did.

Well, Stobor would have to chime in here, maybe the mod checks for the forsworn faction to the exclusion of other factions, and my usual play style adds other faction tags to my PC before I get to Markarth.  Anyway, you might have identified a bug that I've never run into.

That appears to be a SexLab script-lag problem.  I've seen it intermittently too.  I don't think there's anything I can do about it, though I'm experimenting with disabling various options and other mods (e.g. not having SexLab "walk" to the scene, but going back to the old teleport-to-scene, disabling Cursed Loot sex attacks, etc.).  I think the point it is teleporting to is the (0,0) coordinates for that cell.  The equivalent point in Pinemoon Cave appears to be a couple of meters from the cage, so that's less jarring.

The only place this mod intentionally teleports to is the cage, when the character is recaptured or tries to fight.

Having the skeletons (or wolves, in Pinemoon Cave) turn hostile during an escape attempt is normal and intentional.  They won't attack if the master vampire is kicking you loose, but otherwise...

Finally playing this great mod :)

Just a little question before i start those parts: Are the parts with possible hostile NPCs compatible with defeat/DA? Should i turn them off when i do those quests?

Ok first of all this mod is amazing. The cidnha mine and forsworn bits in particular feel like something that was a aprt of the game.

That said there are some bug. I've had my gear not present in the chest at the end of the meeting the neighbours quests, and often the sex scenes will say "Playing animation:" and the nothing will happen.

Also, with regards to the pirate quest, how long before the pirates sell you? Like how many days??

so with the meet the neighbors quest once i reach the orc stronghold nothing happens. i tried talking to both borkul and the chief but nothing happened

in the end of "meet the neighbors" quest my gear is missing. Also DvCidhna_Prey quest causing a CDT after equipping a collar and having sex.

Interesting.  I've just spent a few minutes debugging that quest, as it never equipped the collar at all, for me.  It looks as though the Setup() function in DvCidhna_PreyQuestScr was never called, as the Collar being applied was null.

I worked around it by adding a manual call to Setup() to the top of AddTrickCollar(), which successfully applied the DCL Rubber Doll Collar.

I then experienced the CTD you mention when I tried to save the game.

I haven't confirmed it, but this may be caused by skipping through the sex animations, and not letting the dialog that appears at each sex stage from completing; as leaving the animations to complete, then waiting for a bit before saving allowed me to continue.

It's not about days. It has to do with how many times the Pirates used you. Don't try to get the restrains or the gag off by using dialogues or safewords or whatever from any other mod. That fucked the quest up for me back then.

Just say Hmpf or something until someones removes your Gag if you ant to talk to them. I think that is a necessary step before the count starts on how many times you have to get screwed before you get sold. I don't remember the exact number though.

No faction checks that I can recall, but LAL gives you a bounty in Markarth.   You could probably serve your jail time normally (sleep), then do the Forsworn Conspiracy and run this mod.  But no guarantees - I certainly haven't tested that scenario.  If you try that, I would advise NOT talking to Borkul at all when first imprisoned.

There's a mod-created backpack up against the lean-to with the boss chest, which is where your gear should be.  That is safe storage, as far as I can make it.

CDT during animation is largely out of my hands; I call sexlab, and the animations are handled.  Most reproducible crashes on equipping something are a result of missing art objects in my experience (e.g. missing part of a mod, or the mod changing out from under).

Most reproducible crashes on animation tend to be skeleton-related or camera-related in my experience.  Saving right after an animation can be touchy (they actually take a while to clean up, behind the scenes).

@Wykes: Which start to DvCidhna_Prey ("Fair Game") were you trying.  Sounds like the undocumented Farengar start... but that still should've run the Setup method.

I would advise against fast-forwarding dialogue, but I don't think the monologue comments during sex scenes have any scripting attached to them - those should be safe enough.

I don't think Defeat/DA/SD would cause any problems, but I suppose it is possible if you die really quickly and one of their post-death scenarios kicks in (e.g. teleporting you to an inn).  Normally, even with level 1 test characters, the fight ends long before DA would kick in, but there are so many different mods that could affect combat outcomes...

That was changed so that on the off chance you can't get back before a cell reset you won't lose all the stuff you had. The new container is like the ones in player houses: it will NEVER reset and delete your stuff. The boss chest is just that, a boss chest that has respawning rewards, which will delete the "old" rewards (and anything else left inside) if left unclaimed.

Not so much an issue with the faction checks or anything as it is an issue with being arrested and thrown in jail before you're able to complete the prerequisite quest. Doing as you suggested and just serving time normally would avoid the problem, but didn't think to do that at the time. (honestly, i've never been in cidhna mine without this mod >_>)
