There is a mod that lets you fix up the location and build your own house there.
Grey Cloud Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Lucky Lorenz's shack it is. Didn't realise there was a shrine in there. I didn't see Lorenz as: a) it was dark b) I thought I had spotted a skill book (it turned out to be a carrot!) and c) I was worried that my man Gorr (from Interesting NPCs) would do something stupid like fall into the river and get swept away. Interesting Skyrim moment earlier. You know the wood-chopping glitch where the split log sticks to the axe? Well, I was in Belethor's Store and I could see his assistant in the backroom stirring the cooking pot with the split log. Class.
karlpaws Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Do you have the unread books glow mod? That's been quite useful for me though using the Bright setting I don't think I've mistaken a carrot for a book. Lorenz can be hard to see as he's mostly under that tree and almost into the water. The tree makes it hard to move around in there as you have to come in and go out via the left of the picture, and go around the shack to get in the other side. I wonder, do the various positioning mods let you pick up things like that shrine, since it is mostly otherwise unattached?
karlpaws Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Two of my own since we're going through these fast enough... Frosty fun should be rather easy, even with my green replacing mod... Some cave might be a little trickier but its the only one that really looks like this... 1
pointer Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 First one is Brood Cavern. Second one is Shearpoint. Where you appear to be getting....better acquainted...with Krosis.

Where you appear to be getting....better acquainted...with Krosis. Correct on the Cavern. I had a fetch quest from the Missives mod out of Morthal. I snuck up to Shearpoint before the dragon was there to kill some time and paid my learning fee the Sanguine way, then took his mask the Mephala way.

worik Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Isn't that Fort Khas..mbl...something-ending-with-v? The one right next to Windhelm? Windhelm should be over the mountain ridge on the left side? I always stumble upon some annoying skeletons on the road nearby.

I have Necros set as friendly (with Manipulator) as they are a good income source. I have more trouble with the Imperial patrol which tries to travel the road. The Imps get the mages all fired up and interrupt negotiations.

It must have just been the moonlight as the carrot didn't look anywhere near as glowy once I was inside the shack.

What have you done to your grass there? Mine has gone ballistic again after installing JK's Skyrim and then the Lite version.

I was trying a different green mod, but it doesn't work all that well, as you can see by the snow and grass right next to each other. It does have a lot less moving grass so my system doesn't bog down as much. I need to spend some of my playing time messing around with textures, or finding a new green mod, but I'd like to just replace the white snow texture with a green painted flower backdrop stuff. I hate having to turn off th grass just to find a body to loot.

Have you ever had ... oh, wait, that's sand. Well snow is all cold and stuff. When you've got a rockin' body like this you gotta show it off.
Grey Cloud Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 20 minutes ago, Punga said: Why do you hate snow so much? Answer: a: I'm British and 1 inch (2.5cm) of the snow we get here can bring the entire country to a halt for a week - even if the snow only lasts 24 hours. Or, b: It's not so much the snow as the blizzards. I hate blundering around unable to see what I'm doing. 1
Punga Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 So, dashing through it is out of the question then. What about an open horse? Or, was it one horse open?

Grey Cloud Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 I was supposed to be stood on a dragon mound but forgot. It's now a little further along the valley. There is a cottage just visible towards the right and rear. Ground cover not too bad here, much better than in the Reach. Gorr has gone AWOL again. He's not so much a follower as a 'I'll turn up in my own good timer'. Oh, and I'd just been attacked by a 'Legendary Dragon'. This was most unexpected as there are no dragons in my games.

Sounds like parts of the American South. Seriously, though, some states there got pounded by heavy snows while those of us out west were laughing at how unprepared they were and grumbling that they got our snow. We need that snow for our water (spring runoff from the mountains fills our reservoirs). No clue where that screenshot was taken. And is that pink energy bar from PSQ?

That NIO Override cleaner was the business. How had I never heard of it? Thanks. The paralysed country is an annual event here. For three months leading up to xmas we have constant updates from the met office as to whether we will have snow on xmas day. (Short answer - no apart from maybe parts of northern Scotland). Then in January or February it's 'oh woe is me'. Yep, PSQ it was. I'm in the Rift in the screenshot. Currently in Darkwater Crossing wondering if Gorr is ever going to show up. He's getting a written warning when he does.
