Can you please answer the following questions:-

 

  1. Via MCM could you make the set of enforced cuffs have an alternative set. A bit like the current set but hands bound in front free to move, cuffs (manacles) on the ankles, collar round the neck and with chains linking them together?
  2. Alternatively at the very least (cuffs with chains between them which restrain hands in front, with movement limited hands can move up, down, left and right - within limits of the chain) and/or a collar round the neck?
  3. In addition could you add a soft dependency for Slavetats from this site. When made a slave female character will receive appropriate tattoos (possibly non player removable)?

I don't believe there is currently a way to show chains linking manacles together. I'm not sure it's even possible. Maybe adding a bone to the skeleton that connects hands and feet so a chain texture could be added to it? I'm not a modeler, so I have no idea if that even makes sense.

@jfraser - You could speak to Zaz Chris to see if it is possible (if not limiting movement) then just as animated (the chains) textures and meshes through weighting and/or rigging. The author of the modification recently updated Zaz Animation Pack to 05.61.

 

I also have an idea which could allow your mod to grow and/or thrive, it may require additional work from (possibly others as well). The idea in question is an addon system for your modification. You know where MCM menus register with SkyUI (Mod Configuration Menu) how about a system where additional optional content for your modification registers itself like the menus.

 

So that additional fates can befall the female player character slave and/or NPCs you could establish in Slaverun an slave auction event. It could also allow for you to make it possible to have the slave buyer be non-essential (killable). If a slave's master dies the slave is sent to the auctioneer to be resold onto another master (which is marked by tags, variables or tokens). Alternatively the current master could have the slave sold on for some reason  one of the following:-

 

  • As Punishment - To giants or necromancers.
  • They're Bored - You no longer pleasure them enough.
  • Loss Maker - You're failing to bring in enough gold (even punishment isn't helping)

Though you would ideally need to have player character when initially enslaved report to the auctioneer instead.

 

Your slave buyer would be one of the bidders in the auction and addons would register with your mod's system, this would allow for version control and checking. In addition the addon's bidders placed bids would be able to tracked as a result. Allowing for a dynamic bidding war (prices spiral upwards) as the registered bidders and your buyer duke it out (try to out bid each other).

So I paid Zaid 5,000 gold to earn temporary freedom.  As soon as I got my gear back, I killed Zaid but that didn't seem to affect the quest or the timer thing.  If I come back to him 7 days later, will I get an option to kill him off and permanently end this quest?  I want to get back to playing normally again.  

 

If not, will becoming thane in every major cities negate the bounty?

 

Also, at one point during the quest, Zaid asked me to service Belethor, but he was randomly killed by a vampire when that quest began and there was no way to complete it.  I reloaded the save and he didn't killed second time, but I thought I needed to mention that.  It would be nice if there was a check to see if the required NPC for the quests are alive or not.

If you are on a serious, or even semi serious, playthrough, and are stuck up that route, you might want to do what I did, which was to abandon hours of subsequent gameplay, go back to a save preceding the 'end point' where you select that optional diversion, and choose the option to be a wandering slave forever, as someone else described it, the 'happy ending' to the quests.  It's the only way to move on even remotely sensibly - unless you like your PC being on the end of a piece of elastic, of course!.  And if at the point you return to, you haven't got your gear back and Zaid is still alive, just pickpocket him for the key, grab your gear and run!

Open the console and enter:

 

Set SlaverunFinalDays to X

 

Where "X" is the number of days between visits back to Brutus.  (Haven't actually tested this myself since I didn't ever use this mod on one of my mainline character saves).  It probably won't work for the current seven days but it should take effect for the next cycle.

Thanks.  If I do that end option again, I'll put in 18980 days, ie the number of days from my PC's being enslaved at 18 till they die at about 70   ;)   LOL

 

More seriously, thanks for what is a fun mod, and has promise of being even more so as you develop it.  I'm sure you'll get this sort of thing ironed out in time, and when you have, it will rightly take its place amongst the best that there is out there :shy:

Thanks for the info, DonkeyWho and WaxenFigure.  But since I had a save made before going into Whiterun, I am just going to uninstall this mod for now.  Only progress I made was from this mod so I am not losing much.

 

This was a really cool mod, but that 7 day lease thing sounds way too much like chore than fun.  I'll check it out again when it gets updated.

hi, sorry for bad english.

 

i download and install this latest version. everything okay from riverwood.

slaverun quest appear. mcm slaverun and enforcer appear. both okay.

I fast travel to whiterun. crash to desktop

2nd try, i run toward whiterun from riverwood. still crash to desktop

 

don't know what wrong. but suspect All female guard mod that i instal is conflict, so i remove

but still crash to desktop.

Don't know what i did wrong.

When does this happy ending occur?

He means choose not to accept his offer and then pick his pocket for the key to your gear and just leave. There's nothing stopping you from just walking out of the city at any time. The only problem is you'll be stuck with the collar and manacles.

 

Personally, I played through the slave part on its own character to experience it but did not become a slave on my real game. I like the concept of being forced to go naked and being pissed off whenever I have to go to Whiterun.

Hi so I manage to made the mod run and installed all the latest requirement. So far everything went well and no crashes, but I can't seem to get Zaid to do anything after reporting to him like Brutus told me. He just walks around and then a pop up tell me he inspects my pc, but then he stay there doing nothing. Might be something conflicting with the animation, can't pinpoint which one, maybe my loadorder or mods. Here's my loadorder if it helps :

The Slaverun mod adds a LOT of new NPCs to Whiterun, each NPC in an area takes a certain amount of resources and when a large number of NPCs are added (as this mod does) people often run out of resources and their machine will CTD.

 

To make more resources available (and in general make your game more stable and give you far fewer CTDs) follow the steps here:

That is exactly the right way to handle this, the solution I gave is only for those who used this in their mainline run and didn't keep a save from before it was added or went ahead and progressed their character a lot with this mod installed and don't want to lose that progress.

I would suggest reduce the ammount necessary to earn temporary freedom. 5000 is a lot taking into consideration that you are bound.

 

I know it's intended to be a lot but prostitute to get 5000 while you cannot kill anything, explore etc. it's boring. Maybe you can set this value in MCM.

 

One more thing. Blacksmiths in other holds should be able to remove these shakles [on the other hand I think devious devices should be used for this]

I'm not sure if this has been reported by anyone yet but I don't want to look through 68 pages to check. If you do the "In A Time of Need" quest with Saadia, if you promise to help her and you go the jail to check for the guy who got arrested, he isn't there. He seems to be replaced by the Horny Troll or something.

Yeah the author meant to put the troll in there. The missing Al 'Akir is an oversight.

Hi. Thank for your advice. I remove 20 something mod and run  new game. it work to no more CTD. thank you. it was fun mod.

 

But now i'm curious. when first enter whierun, this man Brutus talk to me.

I choose number 1 "f**k off something", he set something "get her, boys" but no one attacks. no man report nudity thing.

I choose number 2, I go see Zaid, one mission is to see to Jarl's need. but all  I had is the default mission of reporting dragon in Helgen and get tablet in cave. is this correct or I need do default mission before doing Zaid's mission?

I choose number 3. everything normal. wear clothes, someone report, I got arrested. I guess this is correct and I had fun on it.

I choose number 4 to threaten him. nothing happen after that. no one report my player  for something wrong.

Number 1: A bounty was placed on your head. If you choose this option and then talk to a guard, they'll give you the "Wait, I know you" line and then arrest you.

 

Number 2: Yes, the default mission is a force greet. I recommend choosing #3 when first entering Whiterun to comply with the law, then seeing Balgruff, then going back and talking to Brutus again and then choosing option 2 (or accepting the "Work for our organization to get your stuff back" option from the guy who has your gear - that will also start the slavery quest).

 

Number 4: This is the "my character is so powerful and/or respected in the land since she's a Thane/Dragonborn/bad ass fighter who could kill everyone in town so it's not realistic that she would allow herself to be enslaved" option. Choose this if you want to wear armor freely in the city. Enforcer won't activate with this one.

i download and install this latest version. everything okay from riverwood.

slaverun quest appear. mcm slaverun and enforcer appear. both okay.

I fast travel to whiterun. crash to desktop

2nd try, i run toward whiterun from riverwood. still crash to desktop

 

don't know what wrong. but suspect All female guard mod that i instal is conflict, so i remove

but still crash to desktop.

The Slaverun mod adds a LOT of new NPCs to Whiterun, each NPC in an area takes a certain amount of resources and when a large number of NPCs are added (as this mod does) people often run out of resources and their machine will CTD.

Hi. Thank for your advice. I remove 20 something mod and run  new game. it work to no more CTD. thank you. it was fun mod.

 

But now i'm curious. when first enter whierun, this man Brutus talk to me.

I choose number 1 "f**k off something", he set something "get her, boys" but no one attacks. no man report nudity thing.

I choose number 2, I go see Zaid, one mission is to see to Jarl's need. but all  I had is the default mission of reporting dragon in Helgen and get tablet in cave. is this correct or I need do default mission before doing Zaid's mission?

I choose number 3. everything normal. wear clothes, someone report, I got arrested. I guess this is correct and I had fun on it.

I choose number 4 to threaten him. nothing happen after that. no one report my player  for something wrong.

 

So if number 3 is correct, am I missing anything for the rest of the option?

This wasn't my experience. My experience that literally nothing happened. No bounty notification. Talking to guards didn't get me in trouble. And most significantly the quest marker didn't update.

 

Had to choose option 3 before the quest updated and Enforcer kicked in, and I could come back in with clothes and get arrested. Seems like a bug to me.

Can I use this on an existing game? Did you change this requirement? Or what is the problem with using this mod on an existing game?

we could quote several pages on issues with this mod on pre-existing saves - the quest doesn't start and/or npc's initiated by the quest can't be found or just plain have no dialogs...the list goes on

read your mods list - also saw previous issues on the latest hydra slavegirls mod and separate issues on the latest zaz pack

this mod was made before the changes to zaz and hydragirls - try reverting 1 or both of those to earlier versions and see if that helps your situation - when i played thru this mod i used zaz 5.53 and hydra slavegirls 805

 

if that doesn't fix the situation, post the updated papyrus log

Edit: also seen issues with this using Mo - might need to use just loot (files might need to be in the data directory for this)

Edit: another issue to try before changing those is to try moving slaverun to loading after hydra slavegirls and see if that helps get mcm - its been stated to load best last, just before enforcer
