FoxFingers Posted March 19, 2016 Author Posted March 19, 2016 I just found out the mod had been updated today. Great news that Brelyna finally got in. She's always been one of my top two or three vanilla followers. My playthrough went off almost without a hitch. I crashed a few times. Then I checked MO and it reminded me I had it managing the high-res pack but I still had the unofficial patch enabled, creating a missing master error. I have no idea how my game launched like that. After fixing the issue, the crashes disappeared. This was a mid-game update from 2.09, so add me to the tally of people that have been successful with it. On to the content. One thing I noticed was you directed me to dragon priest dungeons all four times over the two new quests. Good decision. No other part of the mod does that, and I tend to ignore them otherwise. The only time I actually pursued all the masks was when I first played the game in 2011/12. It was good to explore dungeons I'd completely forgotten for a change. The two quests were split down the middle in tone. I was laughing during Brelyna's story, not so much Carlotta's. I almost regretted undoing the curse on the two elves. They were cuter with their lips locked. At one point in the first conversation, I was talking to Brelyna, peered over to the left, and I saw Nirya and Faralda making out. That was hilarious. I guess I can make them do it whenever I want now that they're lovers, but yeah. Carlotta's was probably the most difficult of the Whiterun quests, topping even Ysolda's by sending me into that maze by Riften I'd forgotten about. It was like a Morrowind dungeon! Thanks for leading me back there. It was fun. Great job overall! Thanks for giving the new quests a try, and for the feedback on them. You know I appreciate that. Yes, if you are using a Player Home with a trophy room (like I am - Underground Bath House) they'll be a bit more complete after those. Glad to hear you didn't hit any issues, and were entertained. Thanks! I just finished then new Carlotta and Winterhold quests. Excellent job as usual Fox not that I would expect anything less by now. I got a good laugh out of the first book. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean? Thanks VevemousD. Likes games, eh? Knew she would. Likes games, eh? She's been around a bit, been around? Heh. I take it there were no thoughts about Faralda and Nirya becoming bed warmers in the new arch mages quarters, or Faralda failing to resist the temptation, and taking advantage of Nirya's sweet tooth. I don't ever leave and lasting changes to the character's AI packages in the Mod. Still, now that you mention it, it would be pretty cool to have Faralda or Nirya slide into the Arch Mage quarters from time to time and curl up under the covers.
FoxFingers Posted March 19, 2016 Author Posted March 19, 2016 On the next episode of Amorous Adventures... When Serana seeks Dibella's blessing, the Goddess decides to make Serana her Champion in Skyrim. Oh, no! Can the Dragonborn convince Serana to go through with it? Will the Dragonborn and Serana survive the challenge? Can the Dragonborn stop Serana from strangling Nazeem and leaving his twitching corpse by the side of the road? Find out in Dibella's decidedly more deadly version of "The Book of Love" quest. Coming to a Mod near you in a few weeks.
Slammer64 Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 ROTFL @ Strangling Nazeem, I could see Serana doing it too.
Meowy84 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Fox, Amazing job as usual. Both new quests were amazing, especially the winterhold ones. I died laughing. I liked how Carlotta's quest was more serious to cater towards those who prefer more realistic immersion. Some ideas for the next one: Shadows and Seduction: Target Lover: Female Dark Brotherhood Initiate Quest Synopsis: A beautiful new assassin has joined the dark brotherhood but with her comes a new problem... she is terrible at the art of seduction. Perhaps some personal training from the Dovahkiin can help her develop the skills she seeks to become a femme fatale worthy of Sithis. Size does Matter: Target Lover: Ugor (Largashbur) Quest Synopsis: A young warrior within the Largashbur Stronghold is not confident that she has the battle skills or bedroom prowess that an Orc should have. Perhaps the Dovahkiin and maybe some Help from Malacath himself can change her mind (ties into the Cursed Tribe quest). There is A First Time for Everything: Target Lover: Haelga (Riften) Quest Synopsis: Haelga has slept with every man from the Reach to the Nirn but has never experienced her first orgasm. Can the dragonborn satisfy her desire or will he become another nameless notch on her already sprawling belt? Breaking Bad: Target Lover: Iona (Riften Housecarl) Quest Synopsis: The Dragonborn discovers that his new housecarl, Iona, has a skooma addiction problem and will do anything for it -including selling herself to her dealer. Can the dragonborn help her kick the habit and clean up? Also thanks for staying with Skyrim and continuing to mod. I feel that Skyrim represents the end of an Era in gaming. Most new games now are heavily red-taped by DRM and not designed to be modded (as seen in Fo4). Games are being designed for micro transactions rather than for long lasting content, playability, and tools for modders. Everytime I play Skyrim, I feel like I am spitting in the face of the new corporatized gaming movement. I think Skyrim will be safe to mod and play for a very long time as new games are going into a very dark place that is devoid of everything that makes Skyrim amazing.
FoxFingers Posted March 20, 2016 Author Posted March 20, 2016 ROTFL @ Strangling Nazeem, I could see Serana doing it too. Pretty sure that's going to be Serana's "Option A" the first time she's asked if she gets over to the Cloud District. Hopefully the Dragonborn can help ease her frustration. Any plans for Frea? I've never been to Solstheim - never played the Dragonborn DLC. I have it, just never gotten there. I'm aware there's a lady people keep asking about called Frea, but I know nothing about her. And I don't want any spoilers, thanks. If I ever get over there, and I like her, maybe I'll take the hit and add the Dragonborn master to this Mod. But I have a few quests left in Skyrim I'd do before that ever happened. Thanks!

Thanks for trying out the new quests and giving me your thoughts. Glad you found them bug free and entertaining. Yeah, you know, I thought we were done here back in November. I mean, I love Fallout New Vegas. I played the crap out that. But, kinda seems like Bethesda had other ideas about what I wanted for Fo4. Anyways, guess there's still some people interested in new content for Skyrim, so let's make some!
alpalia Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 very beautyful art here , i very love this, specially dat butterfly that fall in dust... damn, some peoples are very talented
Zalminen Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Woohoo, new quests! I really have to thank you for this amazing mod! It's actually the biggest reason I finally bought Skyrim. I had bought Oblivion when it was published but was just mildly disappointed with it. It was ok with enough additional mods but still far from great. And when Skyrim came out I originally decided to just skip the whole game. Then I happened to hear that there are adult mods for Skyrim. The next time Skyrim was on Steam sale I did some googling, found LL and after browsing through the mods I found AA. My first reaction was 'Hey, this would actually make the whole game worth playing no matter how good or bad the unmodded game is!' So keep up the great work
Morniee Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 This is by far the most fun... quest mod in this site... Amazing.
penribon2 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I have a problem. The lydia quest does not work. Quest commands do not work to fix this. The problem is the quest does not start when I select the "So you're my housecarl?" dialogue option. That is supposed to trigger the quest but unfortunately it does not. Some other quests work but I remember when I was doing elisfs quest that at one point I had to do a setstage command to do the other quest. Anyways that is my problem hope their is a fix because it says I need to finish this quest in order to progress with elisfs quest. Again quest commands such as setstage and startquest do not work. I did every other lover quest in whiterun to see if that would help but it did not.

You have a dead character in your game most likely. Either Annekke or Adrianne. Their Ref ID and resurrection instructions are in the documentation, along with the quest ID and stages. Dead NPC's are the number one reason a quest will not start. They need to be Alive to fill the required quest aliases. Hope that helps.

What a twist that she was a member of dibella. Anyways so I checked if both of them are alive, and yes they both are. However, I used skyrim unbound which is an alternate start quest. Anyways lydia does not spawn in on a new game and anyways I had to spawn her in. So I thought maybe that was the problem, was that since lydia was not spawned in while amorous adventures was not loaded up it did not affect her. So I uninstalled amorous adventures and spawned in lydia. I was thinking if I installed the mod in after I spawned in lydia it would work. But it did not. I am sure though that what the problem is is with lydia not spawning in on her own. I tried to move her with ref id (moveto player) but she does not exist so I am forced to spawn her in with commands. Its weird though that It gives me the dialogue option to start the amorous adventures quest. But as I said I select it and the conversation goes no where. I am going to do a new game and find out if my educated guess is correct. Ill get back to you.

After that it's going to require what Skyrim knows to be HousecarlWhiterun - the real lydia that came with the game with her unique REF ID - to fill that quest alias. She starts In Game disabled, so you may need to Enable her at the console after moving her to you. Thanks!

It might be simpler to console yourself 10,000 gold and talk to Proventus." I second this. In fact I've done all of the AA quests (except Gerdur, of course) using Skyrim Unbound, and not having started the main quest at all (caveat, I used the dormant Dragonborn option) without problem. In fact Skyrim Unbound and Timing is Everything make a good team if you want to romance the ladies without having those pesky dragons and vampires getting in the way.
Darkening Demise Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I thought you dropped further development?
FoxFingers Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 I thought you dropped further development? Changed my mind, for now. Thanks.
Morniee Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Started to make all the quests for 2.10 a wile ago... I was about to start Ysolda's quest... but even knowing how it ends and how it works... Still makes me laugh out loud every single time... the expression that she has on her face ( spoiler ) when she opens up with you about the mammoth's tusk... Jenassa's quest is awesome... i loved it that is quite the story... So i guess Serana is not done with the dragonborne yet? Great, things got pretty serious last time played the mod. I think the whole quest is wonderfull! Now she actually has a reason to be and feel "alive" and so does the Dragonborn If you could make it even more serious... that would be the BOMB. I see now why you never played Dragonborn DLC. You are having to much fun in Skyrim has it is... Great work. Dragonborn dlc is pretty bleak... But that Freia... expetialy the Bijin Freia... Humm some day she will be Dragonbonized... big time... So says the prophecy... A simple fun suggestion. This mod needs... a cherry on top of the cake. A catfight over the Dragonborn. :D that would be hilarious!!
Tefajo Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Sure, PM me anything. I mean, it's rare I end up using them but I think about them. Thanks! Hahaha, this sounds like "i am going to be polite and tell you -yes, send me your ideas- but i won't give a fuck about them" No offense taken or intended, i understand you completely
