srayesmanll Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 See, you guys are all nice to me. Such sweet hearts. I think the last comment I read over at the Clean Version support topic urged me to go kill myself. Big difference. You could probably get that guy banned for life from Nexus with a single "Report" click if he's not already banned. Also thanks for the link to the ESS talk post, very valuable! Looks like that post has disappeared some time yesterday or today on Nexus. Did you block it, FF? Or maybe some moderator finally saw it on their own. Or maybe some good samaritan reported it .
Deemer Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Amazing work as usual on the latest update! Bit of warning tho... Carlotta is a drama queen of the highest degree, and extremely two-faced! She sent me out to intimidate Mikael, and then, after I've killed x amounts of dragons and two dragonpriests for a teddybear mind you, she has the nerve to tell me she hasn't been with someone for years. Queue sexy time: Dragonborn: I thought you said you hadn't been with someone for....years? Carlotta: Yeah? Dragonborn: Explain the huge baby belly then?? Carlotta: Oh... that was just a onetime thing with Mikael. Dragonborn: THE DUDE YOU TOLD ME TO SCARE OFF? Carlotta: *sigh* yeah? Dragonborn: .... And you wonder why you're single... Funny situations can happen when multiple mods work together to make a story

Slammer64 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Don't worry Fox, after I finish this run through, I'll install 2.10 and give it a looking at, I'm running 2.9 now.
curvycom Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 AmorousAdventures-v2_10. Now I'm not sure why, but after leaving The Caller with the 3 quest books, just before I was going to exit via the main entrance, I noticed a strange frost mist affect, ( Just floating around my feet?.. ). I was in first person at the time, and when I went into third person, I noticed that I had some sort of frost cloak affect with a small flame trail?... ( Never noticed that Before?.. ). So now I'm thinking, where did that come from?.. but as soon as I exit the cell, the affect vanished, and I have not noticed it since. I loaded a save before meeting The Caller, and the affect was not there, and after repeating The Caller scene, this time the affect did not appear, so it was a bit unusual as to why it happened in the first place?.. It was not something I have ever noticed before, so I suspected it could have something to do with the sex magic training affect?.. specially since although they were different affects, I thought there was a match between the colours?.. I had Jordis as a follower, and other than Aroused or Eager NPC, I'm not sure what could have triggered this affect, specially since I was not in combat or anything?.. Since the affect vanished after exiting the cell, I think it was more of a strange glitch than anything, but since it was a bit strange, I just thought I would mention it. Anyway, thanks for the update, and I hope that if you can spare the time, you can continue to add a few additional updates to what is already a great mod. Thanks very much I updated my post--because I could! You might consider in your (very nice, informative, and well organized) mod description putting in something like "new in version x.xx." Just a suggestion. It would give someone an update heads up also. I totally did not notice that there had been an update. Also just noticed you added in Carlotta! Although I would not presume to tell you what babe to add next, I have to say I'm happy about this addition!!!!! very nice work. Keep it up. Is there a way we can send you money. Seriously, dude. I'll look later on your main page and see if there is a link or something that I missed, because I think you deserve it, and I don't say that about many mods.
worik Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 [..] Anyways, thanks for the good word. I imagine I'll release some more content. I mean, I guess I still have an audience because... For sure, yes! I'm still playing skyrim .. and I must confess I still got stuck with SLAA 2.08 just too lazy to update and too much RL. But next week.. I'll do something about it. Last week, I have almost finished "Blinded Visions" for the first time. Ooooh! Wonderful! I always judged Morthal to be dull and boring, now this family has a complete new and wierd spin to me. I love it. And the approach how you connect those random vanilla quest into something bigger is totally great. In combination with some other LL mods it is sometime just a bit difficult for me to stay in a true in-character roleplay story - without jumping to much between the various storylines and without breaking the cohesion of those now-connected vanilla quests. (But it works! ) Which brings me to a kind of request: I still haven't visited Markarth in my current playthough. And when I finally reach the temple there (maybe next week), I guess I will already have 4 or 5 different tasks to sort out there (from other LL mods too) . So pleeeeease : just spare the temple from more new content, will you? I assume, it is already the natural hotspot for all quest-affine LL mods.
nightdweller7 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I finished all the new quests and everything went well, but I have to admit the Faralda dialogue at the end did seam a bit strange to me. I think it was because I already knew what was in the base game, and if I start thinking about unfinished or cut content I end up having to make my own explanation. It does give me a reason to use the CK and add a couple of notes or something, and I was going to add a couple of notes to explain the unfinished content anyway, and its something that I had forgot about, so the mod has actually sparked some interest in the college again. I did notice the unused quest to retrieve some of Faralda's papers is now available for Nirya, I take it the papers still do not exist in the game, and you simply get the option due to your relationship?.. so it could still be a permanent option, and an infinite source of gold?..

You're very kind and I certainly appreciate it. The only thing I've ever really asked for is to hear some details about what people think about the quests. Feedback is pretty much my payment system. Thanks!

My spin on the show "Twin Peaks". I'm glad it helped make sleepy little Morthal into something more interesting for you. People seem to like or not like that one. It's definitely different. On the Temple of Dibella, the "Serana and the Mark of Dibella" quest I'm working on would swing by there, but just on to other things. I don't have any other plans to use it in the future. Thanks!

Well, the Brelyna quest is pretty big and was complicated to script. I'd say if the only complaint so far is concerning Faralda's dialogue at the end - and that only because of a cut Bethesda quest that's not in the game - then that's a success! No bugs, sweet. Brelyna came across fine, even better! I wasn't aware of the specifics of this cut Bethesda quest. I went and looked up this cut quest "The Research Thief". It looks like it's pretty much done to me in the Creation Kit. I never, ever touch Bethesda's stuff in this Mod, but if I have to go back and finish this one for them I will, just so it's not left dangling. But, I myself do not see any dialogue option on Nirya related to it in my game after completing "Spellbound". Thanks!
parruyo Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Maybe some history about incest like between Evette San and Octieve San, he is drunk always and she all day working. Sorry my english

For completeness: Cutting Room Floor by Arthmoor restores the "Research Thief" quest since... its initial release, I think. While I've had the mod a while and gotten the quest I've never found the notes. Since I like Faralda more anyway I usually rat out Nirya. Finished the Carlotta quest, without issue. Just the question of "how did this loser adventurer get here to die?" Working on the Mage guild now. [ Edit for Progress ] Getting the first book my player character wasn't quite as reluctant and would have had a line like "Brelyna, you've got someone else you owe ... get over here." With the Solutions mod, you can develop a pecking order.. Brel pays Anska for her help and A pays the PC.
nightdweller7 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I finished all the new quests and everything went well, but I have to admit the Faralda dialogue at the end did seam a bit strange to me. But, I myself do not see any dialogue option on Nirya related to it in my game after completing "Spellbound". Thanks! I would not worry too much about the cut papers quest, specially if there is already a mod that deals with it. I think any mod that changes the relationship, including console commands, could trigger that quest, so its just a case of, as long as people know about it, and why its there. Now it's not that there was anything wrong with the Faralda dialogue, so don't think of it as a complaint. It is more a case of, Sergius and Faralda are supposed to be secret lovers in the base game, and since Nirya visits Sergius in his room late at night while Faralda is on her sleep package, I suspect there was going to be some sort of love triangle between them, and not just rivalry. The Nirya dialogue was fine, because she appears to go after what ever she wants, including the cut quest with Faralda's papers, and its not like there is much going on between her and Sergius. I just thought that Faralda was insinuating that she did not have anyone in her life, and although it is flagged as secret, and not supposed to be known in the game, it was a bit too late to try and convince me, since I already knew about the secret love interest. It's a bit like if you take Grelka to Shors Stone when they are all sat around the camp fire, you do not really expect to hear that dialogue.
Sacremas Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 If you use Lover's Comfort or any other mod that makes NPCs seek out their love interests dynamically (the Whiterun lovers for example, or certain Jarls and Thanes and their Housecarls, and while Lucien and Carlotta in Riverwood do not have sex that I have seen there are a lot of NPC siblings that live together that seem to be romantically linked in the base game...) that are somehow established in their files, Faralda has a lot of sex with Serigus often, and Nirya likewise seeks him out, while other NPCs at the college do not have sex, even in the case of the sudent dorm with Onmund or Jzargo never trying to seek out Brelyna. The Inconsequential NPCs mod also has two students talking about Faralda and Sergius if you overhear them, where they mention that while it seems strange for beautiful Faralda and old Serigus to shack up, in age alone Faralda and Nirya are probably much older than Sergius.
FoxFingers Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Oh, man. That's all news to me, I had no idea. It's not mentioned on Faralda's or Nirya's UESP wiki pages at all. I assumed the rivalry was about the papers which was cut from the game. I would have played that angle in the story somehow if I'd had an inkling. Poor ladies, vying for the affections of an elderly Imperial with the Male Old Grumpy voice-type.
Sacremas Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I'm sure many players of such wide variety of mods aware of that would like it if that was somehow included or mentioned, maybe even involve Serigus and have him speak of how they shacked up decades ago but now he's old and his heart is giivng out and wish you to take over those sexcrazed elves, something like that. If you'd rather not redo things that also fine, like you most players would not be aware of this situation and so would not care. By the way, something interesting has happened recently regarding the Nexus. First off a while back when the pop up about Lover's Lab being an adult site was added, that was enough by itself for Nexus to lift it's ban on LL entirely, you are now allowed to directly link to Lover's Lab. This means that you can link directly to this version of Amorous Adventures from the Nexus instead of just saying "google it", however it even means you can upload this version on the nexus! Check out CPU's new mod on the Nexus which he got direct permission from Dark0ne (owner of the Nexus) to upload it.
FoxFingers Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Yeah, knowing what I know now I'll probably need to put in a final word with Serigus at the end along those lines. Dude looks like he's about to keel over - those elves must be wearing him down. Thanks for the tip on the policy change. Yeah I guess I can link to it now, anyways. I don't feel the need to upload it there, though. I mean, really, it will just end up confusing some poor sod of a Nexus user who will invariably download the wrong version and wonder why it doesn't work. If he wants to go Pro, he can come here. Thanks!
Mister E Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Personally, I find Serigus to be the biggest douche at the college not named Ancano. When you have that haughty, grumpy attitude but are somehow more useless than the guy who erases himself from existence I no longer care if I'm cuckolding you.
nightdweller7 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I take it there were no thoughts about Faralda and Nirya becoming bed warmers in the new arch mages quarters, or Faralda failing to resist the temptation, and taking advantage of Nirya's sweet tooth.
alexedra Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 i am experiencing a crash on startup (as soon as it first shows the imperial symbol after you start the game) with your mod (i tried without it and it worked perfectly). i started by putting the files/folders (dialogviews, meshes, etc.) directly into the skyrim data folder (as i found that having them in the folder wouldn't activate the mod). is this the wrong way? or is there something wrong with the files themselves? That indicates a missing master (normally). You do have the prerequisites. correct? Requires: SexLab, Dawnguard yeah, i'm fairly certain i downloaded it properly, but i haven't tried running any other sexlab mods so idk
worik Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 [..] On the Temple of Dibella, the "Serana and the Mark of Dibella" quest I'm working on would swing by there, but just on to other things. I don't have any other plans to use it in the future. That sounds really cool. I already imagine in my mind, how this could fit into my main character's story. I haven't yet met Serana but I assume until then I will be far advanced in this mod https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/392-the-sisterhood-of-dibella and be a member of the temple ... it will give the SLAA Serana quests a nice twist
Vanus Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Fox, I would love to see Gisli involved with the Solitude plot as she already has a dislike of her brother and would probably be willing to help take him down a notch especially if there was an upside for her in the deal. As far as the whole Sergius thing, don't feel bad about that you'd probably only know about it by opening the CK and looking at the relationship tabs on Faralda and Nirya to see it normally as without mods they don't seem to act on it - unlike Olfina and Jon. If it makes you feel better, running the mod PS Enhanced Followers (just search for the author oscarvonreuenthal on nexus as it's quicker than trying it by title.) renders the whole relationship a moot point along with more options that could inspire further quests I will have to say this, so far the vampires have it when it comes to my favourite quests - Sybille in Fangs is spot on and I love giving Valerica what for in Serana's chain. The first time I played through I was sure Valerica was getting a bolt in the face - Awesome job on the tension there
