There already can be, but the game doesn't distinguish between genders, just rapist and victim... so you can get some very odd dialog, unless you change all of your Female_sexposition_rape_stageX files. There are {STRAPON} and {SOLID} variables in the synonym.txt file though. Probably intended for the female on female stuff that is not implemented yet, but would just as well for a female rape male dialog.

Added dummy start files, no more need to delete the previous db, a straight overwrite will now work fine. 3 new unique animations added: 4D Doggystyle, Leito Doggystyle, Leito Foot Fetish. Consensual only, but the two Leito animations will get rape files later.

If I may make a suggestion, IMO your canine oral messages actually fit perfectly well for the wolf version of the oral animation included in MNC (and amusingly enough are the only versions currently working in-game for me as I fail at recompiling the apropos tag fix script). Unless you were planning on doing wolf-specific versions of them in the future, a copy/paste + rename would have all of the wolf animations covered for those who aren't tweaking their database.
Guest Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I wasn't even aware the oral animation worked for wolves, I vaguely remember dentarr saying it wasn't set. I also remember there being a tag issue. Wolves will get the same treatment as dogs eventually, with unique files.
Guest Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Okay people, writing Werewolf files right now (no, not reading Twilight for inspiration), and I have a dilemma. Here's the werewolf animations we currently have, not including the Femwolf ones: Werewolf Missionary (vaginal) Werewolf Doggystyle (anal) Werewolf Holding (vaginal) Werewolf Panic Sucking (oral) Werewolf Rough Doggystyle (anal) Werewolf Panic Redone (anal) I should point out that Rough Doggystyle and Panic Redone are the same animation, one just more polished than the other. Now, as you can see, we have 2 vaginal, 3 anal and 1 oral, which is a bit lopsided. Personally, I think anal should be rarer than vaginal (and frankly, it's a lot easier to write a lot of stuff for vaginal files than anal). Honestly, I had Gooser change most of the dog tags so that the majority of animations were vaginal with anal as a rare treat, and it worked out a lot better (I think so, anyway). Another issue is that between the two vaginal files, Holding kind'a sucks (no offence to whoever made the Holding animations, but I think most people agree that these ones are pretty dated). I was thinking of ignoring this animation and turning it off, but then that would give me a 1:3 ration... There's also no vaginal knotting animation for Werewolves at present. And that sucks. So, I've asked Gooser if he wouldn't mind switching the spare animation, Werewolf Rough Doggystyle, from anal to vaginal. I'd rather have Doggystyle as vaginal too, leaving Panic Redone as the sole anal animation, but that's just me. Thoughts? What do people think of the Holding animation, and the vaginal:anal ratio? Should they favour vaginal, with anal being rarer, or should they be balanced? Any tag change requests to Gooser will affect anyone using Apropos if he agrees to them, so make your voices known.

I'm not planning on using the throne animations until SexLab supports a more immersive use of them than manifesting a temporary piece of furniture. A chair's not so bad, but thrones, beds and benches are really intrusive due to sheer size. Hell, even a chair looks pretty damn out of place in the middle of a forest... By the way, I'm not examining code or anything to get these tags. Register all the animations, then highlight a test partner and press 'N'. Then just use SexLab's Animation Editor MCM option to trigger the animation you want. Once it starts, open the console and it'll tell you its registrar name and all tags associated with it. I then take a screenshot showing position of limbs and make some notes about it, like speed, depth, etc, as well as any movement variations. I've also included another file I made a while ago that includes the registrar tag of the majority of the older animations. New Tags.txt Registrar Tags.txt

Probably a super-subjective thing that nobody will really agree on! My vote would go for just retagging the duplicate animation because that works well with horses. I prefer balance of the options over having anal be rare, especially if those that prefer it get stuck with one animation. Of course, being as this is Apropos, there is nothing stopping anyone who doesn't like what you choose from slapping a set of uniqueanimation files into their DB and voila-tags don't matter anymore.

The tags don't matter for the animations themselves, but will kick in for W&T. A vaginal message triggering anal W&T would be strange, so I like to keep things consistent. My other worry is that I write up the duplicate animation as vaginal, and then find out it's replaced fully by the new animation in the next SexLab. I'm a little worried the same will happen to the new horse animation that's currently duplicated.

You're going to spend a long time waiting for Sexlab to use an existing chair for an animation because as Ashal has already stated far too many chairs in the game are positioned so that gross clipping of the participants into nearby furniture will occur plus matching the exact chair to the one used in the animation will be problematic at best. Only in already clear areas will Sexlab be able to animate a "chair" animation, pretty much for the same reason all the other animations really need a clear zone.

Since the entire point of Apropos is immersion, I don't much see the point in writing files for these animations.

Partly because the anims themselves are so good, and partly because they can be activated for specific places where they make sense. The throne works very well for Elisif and the chair for any kitchen maid or farmwife.

(although, if you really wanna ) Just text in the form of what I stated above. Or, you could have immersion in the way of "You hear someone calling for help". "You hear muffled voices". Things like that. At least that would give you a reason to go looking.

Has the spelling been corrected thereby making my folder names obsolete?

You just have to change all of the above from cunnalingis to cunnilingus (two vowel changes) and everything is OK! Decauk, I implore you to reconsider your decision about the throne and chair anims. Those animations are fantastic! Your words matched with those anims would be a match made in heaven! Even if you gave us the tags it would be a huge help. I just love the throne cunnilingus animation. Redefines the limit with animations!
Guest Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Although I agree that the animations are superb, the simple fact is that I (and a lot of other people) just won't be using them, because they pretty much shoot immersion in the face. Thrones are big. Having one of those pop out of nowhere in a tavern is pretty fucking weird. There are a just-as-awesome animations that don't do this, and I'd much rather concentrate on them first. As far as the tags go; I've listed above instructions on how to get the tags, it's really easy. Just hit the console button while it's playing, and it's all there for you.

Guest Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I have no problems with eventually writing files for these animations, but considering that many people (including myself), will not be using them, they're way down on my list of priorities. NSAP has a ton of normal, non-intrusive animations that would also be great with their own files, not to mention all the creature animations and standard SexLab animations that still warrant special attention. The Throne stuff is great, but their immersion-breaking nature relegates them pretty much to the bottom of the list. It's the same reason I don't plan on doing FS Acrobatic Blowjob anytime soon. It takes a helluva long time to write one set of animations, and it's slow going. Just like Gooser, I have a list of priorities. I have, however, already done one of the chair animations (Zaz OTK Spanking), and plan on doing the other chair sex animation. A chair isn't that intrusive, I figure. The thrones, beds and benches are fucking huge, though. EDIT: Despite the fact that I've already done this with Dogs, I'm still surprised at how long redoing Werewolves is taking. And they have less animations than dogs! Creatures always take longer, since they always have to have both consensual and rape files...
