Guest Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I'll attempt to explain. The Zaz Animation Pack includes a huge number of additional animations which are added to the normal list if you register them. They can then be toggled on or off as with any other animation. The pack includes Pillory, Bound & Armbinder versions of many animations, like Doggy Style and Skull Fuck. They are identical to the normal animations, but with one or both participants arms bound behind them, either at the wrists, or arms together. They are intended as resources for modders who want to have such restraints trigger animations without the participants arms moving freely. If you toggle these animations on in SexLab, they will trigger as part of the normal roster, as with any other animation. So if Bound Blowjob is toggled on, any time you trigger an Oral animation, this is a possibility, and despite the character's arms not necessarily being bound, she will be animated as if they are. Bonds and Armbinders will not appear just from the animation. Pillories will. I would suggest these animations are all turned off in SexLab and only triggered by the appropriate mods. They will function as normal though, and thus Unique Animation files can be written for them. The current version of Apropos contains several of the Pillory animations.
karlpaws Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I saw the pillory folders, but they had only Zaz folders so I wasn't sure if that was the only one, and if disabling the other ones would break anything. Can a mod, written properly, still call an animation installed but not enabled? I dont use the bondage stuff much so it probably won't be an issue with random encounters, and is more annoying when both PC and NPC are "bound" which seems really wierd. I guess that's just a limitation of the system though, not checking what applicable roles are present and just grabbing something at random, limited to aggressive/not and oral/vag/anal. (It is really, really wierd, to be bound in a pillory, and your rapist has his hands bound behind him too. I suppose he could be a prisoner too, and the comments from Apropos are really from "a guard behind him.") Would be less work than renaming the appropriate copied files. Random thought that probably should be elsewhere... it would make sense if the chair/throne animations would work like the regular "use nearby bed" options. So if there is a chair or other ledge those animations would not be so intrusive.

The Pillory animation folders in Apropos are not for the entire Zaz Animation Pack, they're just for those individual animations. There are currently no unique messages for any other animations from that pack other than those 3 pillory animations. And yes, you can untick the boxes for all the Bound/Pillory/Armbinder animations in the SexLab MCM, and the appropriate mods will still be able to use them when required. I would suggest doing so, so that these bondage-themed animations don't trigger during normal non-BDSM sex. In particular, the Pillory animations that have the male also bound will be removed from normal circulation. Thing is, I still think I'm missing something, because that's got nothing to do with Apropos, much less 'renaming copied files'. If I haven't answered it yet, can you please restate as clearly as possible exactly what the issue is, and how it relates to Apropos? I'm pretty confused at this point.

This part I knew, but is probably what is confusing you. I was partly wondering if Apropos was supposed to read the standard folders for the zaz animations as well. Did not think so, but with the issues unrelated I'd been having lately I got to doubting myself. you can untick the boxes for all the Bound/Pillory/Armbinder animations in the SexLab MCM, and the appropriate mods will still be able to use them This is what I didn't know, but am glad to know. I was debating taking some of the folders I'd already done, like RoughDoggystyle, and making a copy to rename as zazRoughDoggystyle, etc. Duplicate the messages I'd re-written or gotten from you.

The Bound Rough Doggystyle animation is not called 'Zaz Doggystyle' by the mods, but rather 'Zap$ZazAP_SexLabDoggyStyle'. Most animations have quite simplistic names, but the ones from the Zaz pack have quite complicated ones, down to Zaz himself for whatever reason. I've included a list below of all the stock SexLab animations' registrar tags, as well as the Zaz pack ones. You can find the tags yourself as well for any animation simply by activating it, and then hitting the console button, which will display the animation's registrar tag, as well as normal tags (vaginal, oral, etc). Apropos currently only contains unique files for those 3 pillory animations simply because that's all I've written. Writing any individual animation takes time, so I pick and choose whatever takes my fancy at the time. Registrar Tags.txt

I have tested this many times. So this is untrue.

Using CBBE and the ARW models (the ones the animation was made for), and due to the placement of the hand around the waist, it's not really viable to alter the positions of the actors to make this look like anal, penetration is just too low without the hand clipping. I was simply gonna wait for you to release the new version and fiddle with the tags myself, rather than bother you with it, but if you're asking, there it is.

Guest Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Two, please. WerewolfAggrDoggystyle is a duplicate of PanicRedone, both of which are currently anal. Makes sense to split them up and have one of each. The standard WerewolfDoggystyle is a different animation, and involves the mob's hand around the female's waist. Because of this, it's not really viable to alter their comparative positions to make the animation look like anal. If you move the female lower to change the penetration, the mob's hand starts to clip through her body.

This does not include Werewolfgal animations, Werewolf on female only. Rape & Consensual files for all. Some tag changes that Gooser has already implemented but not released, so please don't point out that Doggystyle is an anal animation and the messages are for vaginal. I couldn't for the life of me line this animation up so that it looked anal due to the werewolf's hand around the female's waist. I'm also well aware that this has taken me almost a month to do, but creature files take ages. Oh, and Evolve and Dead or Alive 5 Last Round both came out.
