No messages appear at all for aMSleeping and yes, the other unique animations (at least the ones I have written messages for) work fine.

AM Sleeping is just a vaginal animation, even if the unique animations stuff was screwed up, it would generate the normal vaginal messages, like any other animation, and I imagine your stock vaginal messages are working fine. If you get nothing at all from AM Sleeping, then there must be a problem with it. I would try two things: Remove the AM Sleeping folder from your install and play the animation. If it's working correctly, you'll get a normal vaginal message. If there's no message, check the tags via console. Uninstall Non-SexLab Animations and then perform a clean install. I can only imagine that something messed up in the install of that particular animation. If this doesn't work, you'll need to show Gooser your logs.

Guest Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Yes, the current file will work, as long as you follow the instructions (delete the original db). I've simply written a bunch of content that won't trigger until Apropos itself supports them, but it's included in the file. It means that as soon as Gooser switches on, say, Foreplay animations, then the current db has content for that all lined up and will work straight away. Sometimes I get bored of writing certain things and fancy a change, so I write stuff for features that don't work yet, but will in the future. Deleting the original db is not for a future feature though, it's due to a fix so that Apropos works correctly with SexLab's Pre-Sex Foreplay feature.
Guest Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Decauk, I'm having trouble with your db for Apropos. I deleted the old one, used yours and refreshed the database. The descriptions work fine, but when I use yours the wear and tear actors aren't recognized and all wear and tear damage is set to 10. The db doesn't affect mechanics in the script, and the variable W&T effects file hasn't been altered from Gooser's. Any issues with mechanics failures are best shown to Gooser in the main thread. Did those features work correctly before updating the db?

But besides that, its not even used in a way that makes sense. A Cumshot is the positioning a pair of people take when filming porn so that the cameraman can get the shot of the guy cumming. It makes no sense for someone to be giving someone "cumshots" without filming taking place, or for it to be used in a fantasy/medieval world. It jars in the Skyrim setting about as much as someone saying "make love to the camera, baby" or "are you on the pill?"... Any chance of removing it? [Edit: Okay... Urban Dictionary tells me that cumshot is indeed modern parlance for ejaculating. How the world turns! It still seems a little too modern though...]

It still seems a little too modern though...] The word 'cum' has been in use for less than a hundred years. 'Jism' and 'pussy' for only slightly more. Hell, I imagine any number of non-sexual words used in the db didn't exist the several hundred years ago that Skyrim's equivalent history would be. We'd also need to remove the very common slang terms we have for pretty much every sex act, including blow job, hand job, footjob, cowgirl, missionary, spit roasting, gang bang, screwing, deep throat, etc. These are all 'modern' terms, most having been invented in the last 60 years. Even the word 'fuck' wouldn't have been around. If you want to get into the realm of 'realistic' messages, then a majority of the existing db would need to be rewritten, and it would be a helluva lot more boring for it. The truth is that every line of dialogue in Skyrim, whether official or modded, is overwhelmingly 'modern'. There's no part of it that would be even slightly accurate for a medieval world. By even having the dialogue as readable to a modern gamer immediately breaks any notion of accuracy. Playing this game at all already requires a significant amount of 'suspension of disbelief'. Anyone who believes otherwise may also want to remove CBBE/UNP bodyshapes and good teeth, pretty much every nice looking haircut, and start making hairy leg textures for chicks. We can also throw out all the nice low-cut tops and short skirts, as well as any clothing that's even vaguely flattering. I dunno about anyone else, but I'd much rather have modern ideals in a fantasy setting than a realistic setting that I neither understand nor am aroused by. And yes, I think you're confusing 'cumshot' with 'money shot'.
