Trebor2 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I just want to chime in to say thanks. Thanks gooser et al for the great mod, it makes a huge difference. ETA I really could not imagine running the game without it now.
chajapa Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 ^^^ What HE said.... I can't imagine Skyrim without Apropos. It's on my short list of MUST HAVEs
gooser Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 If I want aggressive acts to do more 4x damage, in the damage text would it be : 4.1 or 1.4? Normally aggressive acts (which includes non-consensual rape AND animations tags as aggressive) are 10% more damaging, hence 1.1. 1.0 = 100% of the normal damage 1.1 = 110% ... 1.5 = 150% ... ... 4.0 = 400% of the normal damage.
nutluck Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I am guessing the next update of this will be made to use sexlab 1.6?
gooser Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 I am guessing the next update of this will be made to use sexlab 1.6? Probably not. 1.6 is still unreleased, and personally I won't upgrade probably until 1.61 until the initial foray of bugs is addressed.
nutluck Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Ah ok, I was under the impression 1.6 would be out before to much longer since most of the things listed are now done. So is the next update for Apropos close to done? Just curious.
Chekist Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Hello, first of all I would like to say thanks to the creator(s) of this mod, great job, im enjoying it a lot and it brings a lot of flavour into sexlab. The W&T system works fine, however the slavetats integration seems to have some issues on my setup, which could be not entirely Apropos fault. Im running a setup with tons of 2K/4K textures + full RealVision ENB + custom shaders/particles (dust, smoke, blood, snow etc...) + DSR x1.50. The issue is that the textures from apropos don't apply properly most of the times (which is probably Skyrim engine issue). Sometimes textures are visible for 3-5 seconds then start flickering and disappear, but usually they are not visible at all. If I apply textures manually via slavetats, they stay there and are visible all the time, but when the apropos does it, it feels like something is overriding it and textures don't load/unload. Tried it without DSR enabled, same result. So, my questions are: Is there a hard limit of decals/particles per frame (I have 1000 particles and 250 decals per frame set in .ini file)? Maybe that's what causing apropos textures unload... Does apropos use a different from slavetats technique to apply textures? (because the textures which are set manually from slavetats mcm are working fine and not unloading). Using nvidia 347.25 driver and a single GTX 980

Using nvidia 347.25 driver and a single GTX 980 I think you need to redirect this question to Slavetats support thread. If you can reproduce this behavior in Slavetats MCM then it really has nothing to do with Apropos, since I'm only using Slavetats as utility.

So is the next update for Apropos close to done? Just curious. Hopefully by the end of the week. I'm currently working on the MCM changes to support the widgets. Inevitably someone will want to tweak the location, appearance of the widgets in Apropos differently than I do I to avoid the headaches I'm putting in reasonable minimal options into MCM.
BlacKaos Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Hello, was wondering if someone could teach me how to edit the debuffs in CK? Since I only use submit, oral damage is quite rare and thus my magicka is never damaged. I was wondering if I could stack magicka regen debuffs onto both vaginal and anal damages to actually make it hurt since I can just heal up after getting raped. The only other method would be to either A) put defeat in which allows gang rape or B )attach more tags onto each act. I only know to act on A sadly. Any help would be appreciated Thanks EDIT: or does the codes for this something an absolute mod noob have no capability to do on their own? If so I will probably stick to A but I hate how it makes me more vulnerable to dying before submit kicks in. 1 last question, is slavetats supposed to have all its body slots external? cuz mine is and thus no wear and tear body textures show up. I get the tears but thats it.

Have you tried both Death Alternative and Defeat together (without Submit). I used to use Submit + Defeat, but now I find DA + Defeat a much better combo. I don't use Submit anymore. Have you tried applying the Apropos textures manually through the Slavetats MCM interface? Usually if you that, it is a good test that helps narrow down on the cause. If you have difficulty getting textures to show up even using the Slavetats MCM then I would take that up in the Slavetats support thread, as you have bigger problems than Apropos.

Alright I'll ask the slavetats thread because I cant even do that. I may give DA a shot but its kind of a hit or miss with me. It also doesn't quite satisfy what I'm after with my mods. But thank you for the quite reply, no1 usually answers me on the submit mod.
Leeyds4LLTS Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 If someone knows a quick answer for this, I would appreciate it =) What do I do when I get a message: "Can't find Synonym Array" Thx in advance.

Your game save doesn't seem to have all the json files internalized. Go into Apropos MCM, Message Preferences, click Refresh. Retry your animation after that.
008zulu Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Is the slavetats option, is it supposed to be dynamic or manually adjusted?
Snaked Snake Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Apropos makes my Skyrim CTD. It's only apropos, 'cause when apropos turned off, everything OK. Wtf?
srayesmanll Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Apropos makes my Skyrim CTD. It's only apropos, 'cause when apropos turned off, everything OK. Wtf? Apropos does not cause crashes. Installing it incorrectly, not having the prerequisites (jcontainters, aroused), etc can cause problems. Try providing more info, such as the papyrus logs. Also, where is it crashing? Before logo, in games, etc? If crashing before logo appears, then either you are missing a prerequisite or your load order is borked. Again, more info is necessary.
gooser Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Is the slavetats option, is it supposed to be dynamic or manually adjusted? Can you restate the question? Not sure what you are asking.
008zulu Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 When my character is attacked, are the bruising/cuts/etc effects supposed to automatically apply themselves?
prideslayer Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Is there a technical reason that several synonyms are duplicated in the txt file, or is it just to make those words more likely when one is being randomly chosen?
Guest Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Yes, to make certain words more likely. For example, with {ASS}, words like 'ass' and 'butt' should come up in messages far more than less common words like 'derriere'. Editing the synonym file is one of the simpler ways to customise your experience. If there are certain words you like more, increase their ratio. If there are words you just don't like, remove them. That's the reason 'schlong' doesn't appear in the stock file; I wrote it and I simply hate that word. If you disagree, slap is straight back in there!
prideslayer Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I figured that was it, I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something behind the scenes expecting that each entry had a minimum number of synonyms or something goofy like that.
gooser Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 When my character is attacked, are the bruising/cuts/etc effects supposed to automatically apply themselves? No. Textures are only applied because of accrued 'abuse' resulting from either non-consensual sex, or animations tagged as 'aggressive'. Nothing to do whatsoever with combat.
gooser Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 I figured that was it, I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something behind the scenes expecting that each entry had a minimum number of synonyms or something goofy like that. Yep. Welcome to Apropos, Prideslayer. Its an honor to have such company as yourself.
prideslayer Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Hah. It's fun to be the person asking the stupid questions for once!
