Could anyone explain, in simple turns, how to add support for a custom race?

I'm playing with the Lykaios race and I never get any nouns(cock, vagina, mouth, etc) during sex, for any of the participants.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Gooser, wanted to thank you for the mod, it's something I consider essential. Along with Estelle's tool, this transforms the game a lot more than I expected. It also makes most other "consequences" mods redundant. Tho I do have a request for the SlaveTats system. I can't figure out the formula by which the system levels up, I really wanted it to go up a bit faster. I've changed the "AggressiveOrRape" part of the Damage.txt to 4 which seems to provide a good progression with the default 2000 pool, but this only works when uninstalling the mod completely from the save (or starting a new game). 

Could you please provide some MCM options for the Tats system? Same as for the normal, a maximum value for effects to appear, a minimum for the maximum effect and a different timer for the decay?

I "CANNOT" wait for the update to this mod, it makes the animations so much more meaningful to read the descriptions that you've come up with (really love the ones for creature animations so far, wish there was far more of them ). Also wanted to ask that you please keep support for first person prospective for the descriptions too when you finally get to it being a widget instead.

And I hope that the one mod that does voice to text and everything for this mod (http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1554-estelles-apropos-utility/) gets updated after this does too, would love to try it out as I think it'd add a nice voice over effect

Probably not race related. Apropos is just responding to the events that SexLab publishes, e.g. Animation Start, etc. Can you turn on Debug logging in Apropos MCM, rerun your scenarios, and attach the Apropos0.log to this as a response.

I play a Succubus race character and this mod works fine with her. And Ningheim, and Lunari, and I have a follower that is "Eryniel Elf Race". 

 

Apropos works with all of them. I have a feeling that your Lykaios might be seen as a beast race and THAT might have some bearing on the issue. Though I'm not sure if or how Apropos checks race. I would think that if your character can participate in sexlab's sex animations, then Apropos should be describing them... so I'm afraid I'm not being of much help.

Throwing in the 2c I've gained while editing the dialogues for my own use, as well as the synonym file.  That is probably where your issue lies, if you are getting the lines, just without the fill in variables.

 

Here's a random line:

 

        "{PRIMARY} spreads her legs and moans as I slide my {COCK} into her {WTVAGINAL} {PUSSY}.",

 

Do you see

 

        " spreads her legs and moans as I slide my into her .",

 

or (assuming maie PC and female NPC)

 

        "{Female-NPC-name} spreads her legs and moans as I slide my  into her ( dry, unprepared, wet, etc ) .",

 

If the first one, turn on the debugging, load a game, and open the console.  You might need to scroll up with Page UP, and look to see if it lists an error reading a file or two.

I upgraded a couple of non-related mods(defeat, estrus chaurus, non-sexlab animations), started over on a new character and now it seems to be working fine. It boggles.

 

But yes, I was seeing messages such as:

"I cry out in pain as  jams his  inside my .", occasionally including empty brackets such as () and [''''].

On the plus side, I finally figured out how to produce papyrus logs, so now I'll at least be able to provide evidence should it happen in the future...

Generally, when you see messages with missing subjects and objects, adjectives, it is because the internal datastructures of the mod are corrupt. Often they can be reset by selecting REFRESH in Apropos MCM/Message Preferences.

I'm amazed how often people don't utilize papyrus logging and instead expect me to gaze into my crystal ball to solve their problems. Yes, there are several kinds of problems that don't require logs to figure out, but having both papyrus0.log and apropor0.log can help me cut to the chase, if you understand that expression.

I cannot get past this mod telling me that I am secretly enjoying being raped; it is an inconceivable notion to me. I recognize that other people do enjoy that kind of thing, though, and I certainly recognize their right to their own brand of fetish. thus the request for a toggle.

 

If you don't want to go through that much work (and again,I totally understand) I'll keep editing the notifications manually.

Yes, that's what i'm doing. But there are a ton of them and it is taking a long time to edit every single scenario (which is why I said I know how much work my request would take). When the mod is updated or when I have to do a full uninstall/reinstall, I'll have to do it again. If it's part of the mod, it only needs done once.

There are a couple of posters with full db folders they've done. I grabbed one that has a lot of the Non-LL animations, but haven't looked through all of them, since I did more than a few of my own. I have a second computer that can access my Skyrim folder through shares, and I change/tweak the files on the fly. Not being able to update the UniqueAnimations file on the fly has been one speedbump, but  enabling the positions I want to work on, adding them to the file, and starting a new game works. I just haven't gotten that far on it.

 

I had similar issues with the rape scenes, but in my case I'm changing them into just rough sex or dirty talk, istead of loverly speech for the consensual scenes. If I play a female PC, she's just a loose and wild adventurer, willing to kill or fuck anything. The male PC on female lines I'm doing more lover like, since he doesn't lose fights. She just pretends to, using her wiles to get the bandits off guard, before sneaking off and seducing the boss... or just getting them all close and then dropping a frenzy trap spell.
