Guest Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 The bloating issue was resolved a few pages ago, there's an updated file that needs to be added, which I would assume will be in the next version by default.
Guest Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Don't forget your Apropos logs, in the User folder where your papyrus logs are. [04/09/2014 - 12:50:33AM] Apropos log opened (PC) [04/09/2014 - 12:50:33AM] JContainers is not installed or possibly problems with SKSE or other windows (vc++) dependencies missing [04/09/2014 - 12:50:33AM] Upgrading Apropos to: 20140307 [04/09/2014 - 12:50:33AM] Upgrading Apropos to: 20140307 [04/09/2014 - 12:50:33AM] JContainers is not installed or possibly problems with SKSE or other windows (vc++) dependencies missing [04/09/2014 - 12:51:59AM] JContainers is not installed or possibly problems with SKSE or other windows (vc++) dependencies missing [04/09/2014 - 12:51:59AM] Apropos Active [04/09/2014 - 12:53:14AM] Log closed Checked and JContainers is installed and I have skse up to date, don't know what the other stuff could be. When you say SKSE is up to date - you mean version 1.7? All I can think of is to ping Earendil who is the author of JContainers. okay I have it working on new games now. BOSS told me I had 1.7 but I actually had 1.6

Yes, that is right. I think it was Earendil who posted a fix. I was having terrible bloat, but then I used the fix and it solved the problem. Just a few pages back as Decauk says.
cloudedsun Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Thanks I must have missed that, I try to keep up with the latest posts. Sorry to have been a bother.
Tentacle Love Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Don't forget your Apropos logs, in the User folder where your papyrus logs are. I have enabled logging, as evidenced by the log I posted before. I have no apropos logs. checked everywhere, can't find them. still blank mcm menu. (just the picture shown by others). Yes, I have other issues I'm working on but those are pretty well detached from the fact that this mod's menu isn't working and there are others having the same issue.

Tentacle Love - when are you going to write a mod? I mean "SexLab Tentacle Love" would be an awesome mod, I'm sure! Can you find regular Papyrus logs? If you cannot, then you have bigger problems. So far, there have been zero actual problems with my mod (that is, coding issues) that cause a missing MCM menu. We have only one outstanding issue in that general area (save game bloat) when users customize their databases (which is already advertised as "for the adventurous" for a Beta mod). If you can find your Papyrus0.log, search it for "apropos" and see if you can find any errors. So far, I haven't seen anyone produce a Papyrus log that had Apropos errors that wasn't due to missing requirements (SKSE 1.7, SL 1.39b, etc). Once those have been satisfied, try creating a new game. It should show up there.

I moved it as far as I could up in the load order - so that it would load right after devious devices - integration, for some reason it literally won't go any higher than that. And now the menus show up in game. So now I can actually test it! lol
Darkening Demise Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Still doesn't work, that damn image is all there is. Done with this.
Ratchex Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 To everyone who is seeing blank MCM menus, please forward me your papyrus logs. Tried the clean save upgrading thing, creating new characters, and everything else I can think of. As far as I can tell, there isn't any trace of Describe left on my machine, but I can go download it and see if I can find the offending script or whatever is causing this bug.
tangledbara Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I also had the nothing on the mcm menu, but I installed the older version which showed the menu then I saved. Uninstalled the older version with NMM then immediately installed the new version then jcontainers. I started the same save without running boss or anything and It worked perfectly except for no wear and tear being registered. Then I tried uninstalling lovers victim and voilà working perfectly. This fix may be bass akward and who knows what problems it might cause, but it's working for me for now... Thanks for the mod.
ScarletGhost Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 hahahahah FIGURED IT OUT. seems everyone has different solutions, but i found mine. turns out the sexy gents at SKSE are STILL pumping out versions, unbeknownst to me. i just updated SKSE to the latest (currently alpha) version like i was SUPPOSED to do, re enabled the mod, loaded up a save i cleaned of apropos, and it bloody works. i really hope this helps.

trebor666 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 it would seem that if i try to remove this mod it causes my game to crash when i load a save
Fredfish Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 You could try loading an early save, the oldest save you can find or start a new character, then load the save you actually want to use. I have to do this nearly all the time, I'm using too many scripted mods probably
Guest Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Just noticed a slight error; large spiders seems to be displaying regular spider messages. Used console to check, SexLab is definitely registering 'Large spider penetration', but it's taking messages from the normal spider lists.
chajapa Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Testing this on a Male PC who is now married. #1 His wife's vaginal "state" does not seem to get updated. She is a perpetual virgin. (Not necessarily a BAD thing, but I don't think that's the intended result) #2 Wife gave me blow job. Message said the *I* tasted semen for the first time. Hmmmmm.... I don't THINK I kissed her afterward. This APPEARS to be weighted far more heavily to a female PC. I will continue testing. OH! On the test involving a female PC, this seems to be working fine. I have NPC wear and tear enabled on both. How many NPCs will it track? Thanks!
Jenneke Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I've been having issues with Apropos as well. When I first installed it, it wanted to overwrite a couple files from Radiant Prostitution, so I allowed it, but all I could get was the splash screen in the MCM. I uninstalled it and re-download it and installed the new file (same version) but now Apropos doesn't appear in the MCM at all after running "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance". Here's my Apropos0.log file, and my Papyrus0.log,
chajapa Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 OK, for whatever reason, Apropo isn't working well with my male PC. With the W&T configuration box checked, the female NPCs, whether follower, wife, or just a named NPC in Whiterun don't update their W&T. They are permanent virgins I tried UNchecking the box, having sex with a few females and then REchecking the box to see if it just needed a kick-start, and...... nada. Doesn't appear to update female NPCs when playing a male character. I may just turn it off while playing a male PC until this gets straightened out Works fine with my female PCs. ..... and yes, I mistyped the name when creating the zip file of the Apropos log..... don't be hatin' on me Papayrus0.zip Apropo0.zip
Deimo Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Hi Gooser, Any news about this fantastic mod? regards
icladel Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Is Apropos known to have a conflict with Sexlab Submit? Currently when my character is raped, the console log shows Apropos [sex position] [a, b, c, x, y, z]. The issue is that none of the selected aggressive animations are played. It seems to be completely random. Does anyone have advice for this. Thanks
gooser Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 Hi This mod IS in active development @icladel No conflicts. Apropos does nothing to the animation system, it only reports what is happening.
Guest Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Apropos shows the animations in the console, although I think you can turn it off?Submit is a really script heavy mod, and can have some weird conflicts with other mods at times, but I don't think it'll be doing what you're describing. Have you checked your SexLab settings?
chajapa Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Hi This mod IS in active development @icladel No conflicts. Apropos does nothing to the animation system, it only reports what is happening. GOOSER! *hug!* I LOVE this mod Glad to see you're alive. Can you have a look at something? When I play my male PC, the Wear and Tear for any (female) NPC does not update after sex. They are all permanent virgins. This is with W&T for NPCs enabled. When playing a female PC, it all works fine. *** EDIT *** Further testing. Playing my male PC. If my followers (or my wife) have sex with an NPC, their W&T updates. If my male PC has sex with the followers or an NPC, no update. So I took my followers to Whiterun and whored them out for a while to "prime" them. Seems a shame to have to take my wife there for priming as well, but what's a fella to do? They need a lot of sex to prime all orifices as the animations are somewhat random, but once they're no longer virgins ..... *shrug* So can they "repair" all the way back to virgin? Or can they only repair back to the step above that? Thanks! PS. Apologies in advance as I inadvertantly posted this "bug" in the feature suggestion thread. Sucks having so many pages open at the same time.
