wwrsticuffelic Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Here's mine. I ran the save cleaner as suggested above to see if that would help, but it hasn't solved the problem for me or anything. My logs are looking much neater now, though, even to my untrained eye. Papyrus.0_wwrsticuffelic.log.zip
Roarke Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I got this mod working with custom messages, but for some reason the first message keeps getting interrupted and I only see the last sentence up for second before the animation starts. I think when the actors get in position, it forces the messages to reset before they are complete. Has there been a fix for this? Papyrus.0.log.zip Apropos.0.log.zip
RDKateran Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Have now tried sex scenes with Apropos... and while the mod is registering the sex acts in the console, I'm getting no erotic descriptions regardless of the acts done. The Wear and Tear portion seems to be working though. R.D.'s Logs.rar
wwrsticuffelic Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Oh, yeah, it's worth mentioning that I'm getting no messages at all during sex scenes (alongside the menu not working).

This time I double-checked and made sure I had all of the requirements and such. Still was a lack of messages, except, curiously, end-of-scene virgin messages. Looking at the Apopros logs, it seems like the rest of the files for the sex scene messages are missing. R.D.'s Logs.rar

Doraleus Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Great mod, When can we expect Female PC > Female NPC or Male to Male update? Stupid me didn't read the whole first page, I was making some lez/gay descriptions then just realized its not implemented yet after testing in game.

Yeah i am looking forward to the fleshing out of the wear and tear part of the mod. @Gooser - Are you still going to post in the idea thread you made to banter idea's back and forth?
gooser Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 @nutluck - yes, I'm still using the other thread to gather ideas and suggestions and will be harvesting from that over time. Plus its a place for people to post their db modifications.
Guest Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Any luck on cracking the actual messaging system yet? I remember you saying you were working on an SKSE plugin for that.
Hurin_the_Mighty Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Hey @Gooser, Absolutely great work on this mod dude. I'm having a little trouble getting the messages to appear at each stage however, and I was wondering if it would be possible for you to use your wizardry skills to decipher this papyrus log and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you for your time. Disregard last, my SKSE wasn't updated to version 1.7, updated that and it sorted right out. Thanks again for all your brilliant work. Apropos.0.zip
cloudedsun Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I found my bloating with Apropos from the Wear and Tear system. I turned it off and instantly the bloating stopped. At a point I had to do this to get my saves to work past a certain point. Just thought this might help someone. Sucks, but hopefully there might be a fix somewhere or it's not compatible with the other wear and tear mod..? I don't know, thought they talked, maybe not.

Provide your numbers. The only prior reported bloating was when the user customized their database and used unsupported tokens. When I start a new game in my configuration, with or without Apropos, it is 8MB. Every single time. I currently have a save of level 95 character with over 150 mods, and my saves are typically stable around 25 MB.
wwrsticuffelic Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 For the people who are having problems with the MCM menu: I managed to get this to work by moving apropos to the top of my load order. BOSS doesn't recognize the mod and so it has always been at the bottom of my load order previously.
gooser Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Any luck on cracking the actual messaging system yet? I remember you saying you were working on an SKSE plugin for that. Yes, I'm still pursuing that, but it looks like I might have a roadblock to that: developing skse plugins that use the SkyUI widgets, etc, requires Adobe Flash CS4 (the development environment for Flash) because a lot of it is written in ActionScript. We'll see.
Guest Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Honestly, it's not that big a deal, no one's expecting you to go shell out for an expensive software license so we can slightly more conveniently read smut. I for one already regard this beta as one of the best mods around (along with RP and Defeat) because it provides context. I'll be overjoyed with pretty much any addition; adding 'we keep fucking' messages at stage changes will allow more descriptions simply by increasing frequency, mitigating the desire to have longer messages in the first place.

I use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? to test both files. The one is fine, turn on the wear and tear function and after sex I save. The file doubles in size and the save utility won't open it. Every save I come across in my game, new or older starts, the file doubles when it's turned on and the save utility won't open it after it doubles (And it won't load either). So bloating as in double. I can attach logs and even the saves if you wish.

Guest Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 To everyone who is seeing blank MCM menus, please forward me your papyrus logs. I looked and couldn't find anything relating to this mod, unless I'm mistaking it for something else. Papyrus.0.zip
RDKateran Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Don't forget your Apropos logs, in the User folder where your papyrus logs are.

You can work around the heterosexuality by using one of the many mods that changes how Sexlab views your/victim's gender.
