Not sure if its an actual issue but when i'm finishing a a ritual and its flashing up ToMB: NPC name removed from ritual this seems to include NPC's from previous rituals (that are now dead) rather than just the NPC's in the current ritual that just ended

Like i had the name for a NPC appear as being removed i'd sacrified yesterday (real time) so was never in any ritual i'd triggered today

I'm still having issues getting rid of this. It's a known issue, but harmless. Purely cosmetic.

HEY there
My OAR also reported missing plugins which I've already installed, chatgpt says the .dll in your mod might interrupt with other .dll initialization. Can you check that out?

The only dll bundled with the mod is for the custom map markers.

This isn’t a big deal and it might be caused by my mod list interaction with the mod, but adding this mod causes a blue arrow trail on arrows. I haven’t seen anyone mention this so im guessing its my modlist but im just asking in case anyone knows anything.

That sounds like a Precision issue.

I've started to see that since installing ToMB, it looks like the same blue effect when PC casts the ToMB ritual that shows on the PC hands but it seems to apply to all arrows as well

Is the same colour as the coldfire flames effect

Okay, that's weird. I never use bows, so I've never run into this. I'll look into it.

Played with a mod a little bit and noticed a few bugs:

1) Arrows now have blue glow when shot by pc or enemies

2) Alana is causing ctds. It's not constant but every time ctd has occured she was present in a cell, so I presume it has something to do with her. One time it was in Lemkil's house when I was trying to capture her while she was sleeping, the other time - when I got her out of the bag in Bal Sarnat.

3) Alana does not have a sleeping place in Lemkil's house so she is sleeping halfway in the wall near front door.

Is this intended to be played on the newest update, or with a downgraded game?

I'm new to mods this complex, so I've gotten myself a little confused and out of my depth, I think. So, sorry if I just sound very stupid. TOMB and its dependencies load but they don't work right. After troubleshooting it seems like I have to downgrade to fix everything, especially DOM. Is that what everyone else did? Otherwise I have no idea how everyone's playing, lol.

1. I'm looking into the blue arrows. You're the third person who's reported this now.

2. As for Alana, do you have FSMP? Her hair was causing CTDs for someone else, and FSMP fixed it.

3. You must have another mod that edits the cell and overwrites the placed bedroll from ToMB. Look in xEdit to see what conflicts with that cell record.

Other than the optional custom map markers, there shouldn't be anything in ToMB that's affected directly by the update. As to its dependencies, that I can't say. I still haven't upgraded to the newest version.

Yes, I do have this mod and also I have other slaves with hair physics and they don't cause any problems.

I'm looking into the blue arrow issue. Question to narrow it down: did it start immediately after installing the mod? Or after learning the coldfire weapon enchantment?

Immediately i think as it was showing on arrows bandits were firing at my PC when i raided my first bandit camp to get more slaves

As i'd only captured Alana and done 1 ritual i think i'd only learnt electrical torment at that point

Started right away.

Thanks. Was it on NPC arrows or your arrows or both?

The blue effect shows on all arrows, ones fired by NPC and ones fired by the PC

It occurs in my game too, without precision.

Digging around for causes, ("Skyrim mod blue arrow trail"), then there is mention of how there an array of textures, and building a new texture has the risk that it gets assigned to a slot already in use.

"{Mihail} used the addon node system to add effects to his creations. But, he used a node already used by the vanilla engine - the one for adding effects to arrows (like flames) The skyrim engine does not assign unique naming IDs to those nodes. So, modders have to choose a suitably random integer and hope that other mods don't also use it. If you look at the vanilla arrow meshes - you'll see the addon node and its number. In the CKit you can look at addon nodes to match up the numbers. and in the Mihail or SoT esps the addon nodes that use the same id numbers. These are not editor or form IDs, they are mesh node name IDs. Just removing the MPS folder gets rid of the Blue flame effect but the tracer tail for the arrow remains."

That's confirmation of what Claude found when I was looking at it last night. I should have a fix up soon.

addon node system combined with "The staff comes with Drain Life, Coldfire Flames, and Coldfire Fireball.",

my guess is a blue flame effect as an addon node for coldfire flames is crossing over as an addon node for arrows.

2.0.4 hotfix is up. Hopefully, it'll fix the coldfire-arrow addon node collision and stop the blue trails. Let me know if you're still getting them.

Will give it a try tomorrow, on a different note should the upgrade mace (in mace form, not staff) consume magicka on a successful hit on a hostile (creature/bandit etc)?

As mine seems to, play warrior so don't mind but noticed my magicka bar is always empty after a few swings, its also consuming stamina which you'd expect from a melee weapon

That's bizarre. It shouldn't consume any magicka. Take a look in xEdit and make sure you don't have anything that conflicts with the Mace or its enchantment.

Blue trail on player shot and NPC arrows is gone for me with 2.0.4

I don't see anything amending the mace when i look in Xedit except the unoffical patch which is before ToMB

Not sure how to check the enchantments though as the referenced by seemed to show the upgrade you buy rather than what it adds

I did notice that when the mace was out of power it stopped taking magicka but then when i re powered the mace with soul gems it started to do it again

Spoiler

After killing a wolf with the mace both stamina and magicka have lowered from the swings

Not sure if its relevant but notice on

It looks like it has a cost rather than a damage keyword but i might be wrong
