I am at a complete loss for what is triggering Sexout to close the game. I recently updated to the latest SexoutNG as well as the latest Beta SCR and Beta Pregnancy mods because Spunk .88 required it. Now the game automatically closes saying that it requires NX15(have that) SexoutNG Beta 2.8.90b1(I have 2.9.92) and NVSE 4.6.2(have it). The only thing I can think of that would be causing it would be that it's looking for the SexoutNG Beta file and isn't registering that I have a version past the required beta and there is no Beta file available for download right now.

 

I have the same problem. I uninstalled all the required mods and downloaded them again just to make sure that everything is perfect (except for NVSE 4.6.2, because this version does not exist, the highest version is 4.6.beta1 and THIS version i have installed)

 

Maybe there is a secret location where i could download NVSE 4.6.2, because here http://nvse.silverlock.org/i won't get it.

Yep... right in the OP.. Under Requirements. There is even a link that takes you to the beta NVSE which is required without it it wont work..

NVSE 4.6.2+

NX15

 

WARNING, rant: new updates of Spunk often require you to update NVSE, so check if there's a new NVSE requirement every time you update Spunk - links will be on the download page & OP as well as the update post in the thread. That's 3 places in addition to the official NVSE thread, so don't tell me the version I require doesn't exist. If your NVSE is out of date in relation to the functions that Spunk needs, Spunk will quit the game to avoid errors in its systems. Don't complain, be glad it does that. The link above is always to the minimum that Spunk needs, and the NVSE version it links to is as safe to your game as any other. The latest versions on silverlock are often outdated by a few weeks, and just because what I link to isn't on silverlock doesn't mean it's fishy, it's always an official beta, straight from the NVSE development thread. Don't be afraid, just install the damn thing.

Click on the link NVSE 4.6.2+ link above or the one in the OP and you will get the version you need. I did the same boneheaded thing except when it crashed.. (good warning by the way) I went back and really closely read the requirements and realized that it was a different version from the Silverlock thread and clicked on it, installed it and went back to playing my game without any more crashes..

There is a warning and a crash in the game with Spunk loaded without the proper NVSE.. That is pretty BIG indication that you have something serious F'ed up..! This forum has used different colors, Text, Underlined, BOLD and even SIZE and even telling the reader NOT TO DOWNLOAD THIS IT WILL BREAK YOUR GAME! other ways to indicate the importance of what is being told and still people miss the important stuff.

 

Many like myself often realize their mistake and others.. don't :(.. It isn't that they are bad or anything .. It is just what it is to make mods and distribute them. If there is a way that someone can mess up the mod installation.. someone will eventually do it.

 

One of the most important thing is to read the OP. Then when problems arise... read the OPs again.. ;). If there is a read me for that mod,... read it. Most of the time it is a simple mistake that can be easily fixed. Then.. post in the thread. Many here aren't English native speakers so honest mistakes can and will happen.

Well, the problem was not that i didn't read the OP or that i didn't understand, i just didn't realize that the version from the OP was not the same as the version from the silverlock page^^ And if you are sure that you have everything which is required, then you just need a hint to realize your own error.

It says right there that it's not the same.

By the way i downloaded the 4.6.2 as providing in the OP but unfortunately when i launch the game via NVSE the game freeze at the loading screen. But the game work find in 4.6.1 (the one that i took from silver website). Do everyone work fine with 4.6.2? I read through the OP and donwload all the file as comment only this one that cause my game to freeze (i need to open window task manager and close the game). I'm not sure about the problem either. i only active one sexout related mod at the moment "sex assault" and other requirement mod just up to date by recommending from both sex assault and sexout spunk thread or maybe 4.6.2 is not stable at the moment? When the time pass it may become an optimized and stable version on that time i will try sexout spunk again.

 

Also thank you for Prideslayer your new update sexoutNG really greatly helping me in sex assault thread.

My game works "almost" fine with nvse 4.6.2 but I need to use the FNV4gb to launch it.

If not, even if my computer is still a 32bit W7 system, my game tends to have strange drop-down / drop-up cyclic FPS beahviour.

 

With FNV4Gb I normally have stable FPS (60 interior and 45 exterior, average).

Of course, I still suffer some random crashes (expecially changing cells) and the infamous "out of memory" CTD.

But, all cosidered and with the fact I have about 125 mods installed, I think to be lucky to be able to play sessions for 1/2 hour cosecutively.

Yes.. That hint is the crash to desktop.. That is a serious hint. It screams "something is wrong".. and forces you to go back and check everything. It was a very strong hint for me which saw the requirement and didn't read further and installed the older version. So I am in the exact same boat as you are and did the exact same thing.

 

I have no doubt that there will be others that come here and ask for support for this very same thing because they couldn't figure it out.. When that happens really all that can be done is point to the OP and let them know they missed an important step. Then they can say to themselves.. "D'oh" and get the proper files and move on to playing the game.

Sort of simple question. All mods at latest beta level.

I have been having trouble getting sperm to show up in the womb. Or in Haldstrom-speak, swimmers.

He says that he takes this number for the Pregnancy mod directly from Spunk.

So my question: Given that semen is maxed (125ml in my case), what tests are done to get this to the womb?

What about the delay between intercourse and migration to the womb?

Is this based on special NPC, race, fertility, time of month, or any other non-obvious test?

I am asking because I have some NPCs, like Delilah, that I have run through literally hundreds of encounters (Thanks Working Girls),

they stay maxed on sperm, but nothing ever makes it to the womb. So obviously, no pregnancy for her.

okay...

when semen gets added to the vagina, it comes with intel like volume/species/race/gender & the identity of whose it is, like semen at any other location. However, I also calculate a sperm count for that particular 'spurt', based on volume, species, and age if human. This can easily be hundreds of millions, as IRL. I also set a 'potency' value, starts at 100/100. Because sperm can't survive long in the vagina if they aren't quick about swimming upstream, 'potency' will be gradually lowered to 0 in the course of about 20 minutes real time. After that, it's assumed infertile. The woman's antibodies and vaginal acidity have killed all the ones left behind by then.

 

Every time a vaginal semen 'spurt' is processed, it'll first do the usual diminishing of volume based on semen tracking settings. Sperm is obviously proportionally subtracted as well. If semen volume goes from let's say 10 ml to 9 ml, sperm count is also reduced to 9/10 of what it was.

 

Unless potency <= 0, the number of sperm to travel upwards will be determined by the following formula:

let fSwimmers := spurt["Count"] * spurt["Potency"] * fFert * fProt / 3600000000

 

fProt is the diaphraghm factor. If you're wearing one of those, it's obviously more difficult for anything to enter the cervix, it's the whole point.

let fProt := 100 - (NX_GETEVFL "SCR:fProtectionDiaphram")

 

fFert is the female fertility factor - the cervical mouth is easier to enter at a particular period in the fertility cycle, and I originally just based it on that. After some input from Hal, it's now calculated by: let fFert := ((NX_GETEVFL "SOP:fFertLevelPerc") + (10 * (NX_GETEVFL "SOP:iCurrNumOva"))) / 2

 

The big number I divide by is based on something I can't remember, but of course 6 of those zeroes just counterbalance the multiplication of the other things, so you'd still see  thousands of sperm travelling up on each eval. (In the case of a cervical semen spurt (which can be added through sex with really big creatures), the fertility factor doesn't count, and the divider is a lot lower.)

 

fSwimmers is then moved into the sperm tracking system, with the same intel attached as before except volume, which only applies to semen. And it's subtracted from the vaginal spurt's original "Count".

 

So in short, if you're looking to increase the chance of pregnancy, you should look into whatever tools Pregnancy has to increase the number of ova, and the fertility level at the moment of copulation. Even still, you should accept that while thousands of sperm enter the sperm tracking system every 5 seconds during those precious 20 minutes, it's still a gradual system, you don't get pregnant instantly. Some sperm also gets killed in the sperm tracking system, although not nearly as much as in the vagina, and it can live up to 3 days once it made it into the cervix & up.

Hypothetical case: The vagina is filled with old semen. No viable sperm in that soup.

The next intercourse with happy little wigglers has no room left in the vagina.

 

What do you do? Toss the new load, or compute viable sperm based on the new spurt?

Bonus question: Is there any advantage to a large vagina capacity? I assumed it would help tracking over an extended period,

but from what you say they are dead anyway.

If you're really completely bloated by semen, there's a good chance that next time a guy comes inside you, it'll trigger the 'overflow' functionality, which will pass most of it to other, outside locations, depending on your overflow settings. Best to wait until the trickles have lowered vaginal volume, use a douche, or increase the overflow threshold volume if you still can.

Thanks again Doc. You have given me a fertile area for experimentation.

 

What you describe could explain a lot about what I have been seeing. Old semen makes a pretty good barrier.

 

Now to see if Delilah will take douches from her backback, and change a lot of the MCM settings to align flushing more closely with sperm life.

 

You and Haldstrom need a tech writer to work on "The complete guide to sexuality in Fallout NV". This kind of information is really useful.

I'm posting on this thread now that I've narrowed my problem down to Spunk. I've been having CTD's every time I have dialogue with someone. If I get to the end of their part of the dialogue, I'll get a crash. I'm not sure what could be the reason behind it, as it only really started after I updated Tryout this morning but my game runs smooth as soon as I uncheck Spunk. Below is my load order and the last debug log that I made when the crashing started. Maybe the master who created it will be able to help me out.

Ok i am not even in a position to give a technical advise' but did you try a clean save and maybe change the load order a little bit like having lust before spunk and place Mcm at the end plus do that bashed patch just an as is opinion i am probably wrong but it won't hurt your game.

Yeah, it was happening when I started new games and talked to Doc Mitchell too.

 

I don't see anything wrong there. Maybe adding spunk just pushes you over some sort of limit - I see you have quite a few inactive plugins in your data folder. Perhaps clean some of that out, try again.

 

Yeah I dunno. It's weird. I've tried getting rid of stuff and changing where I place Spunk and Lust in the load order but I still get these weird crashes. Also a lot of the inactive stuff is mixed in with the Bashed Patch. *shrug*

If I'm understanding this right, Spunk was already installed and working, then you updated Tryouts, THEN the problem started and unchecking Spunk fixed it? If I'm following this right it sounds like Tryout is the problem, not Spunk. Or possibly a conflict between the two.
