If I'm understanding this right, Spunk was already installed and working, then you updated Tryouts, THEN the problem started and unchecking Spunk fixed it? If I'm following this right it sounds like Tryout is the problem, not Spunk. Or possibly a conflict between the two. Well before that, there was always a chance of random CTD during dialogue, it just didn't always happen on the first one. It would usually happen to me about every 5 minutes. After the update, it started happening every time consistently. Oddly enough, despite the fact that a clean save didn't do anything for me, my problem fixed itself when I disabled spunk, played a while, and then I thought, "Well, I'll fuck around with it some more," and reactivated it only to find it works perfectly again. You know what they say. When the code is right you ask, "How is this not working?" When the code is wrong, "How is this working?" I'm not gonna argue with it if it decides to fix itself. edit: alright alright, found something a bit interesting. Any time I disable or enable something in my load order, Spunk stops working, no matter where it is in the load. Once that happens I have to disable Spunk and clean save and then load it back up again to get it working. It's very specifically that, as not even a brand new game will fix the "first dialogue CTD." Although I still do get inconsistent dialogue CTD. I would disable Spunk entirely as I could live without the cum effects, but I like the perks a lot that I used to use when Lust was a standalone. =/

And it went away if you played on a little without spunk & then reactivate? I wouldn't know how to create a bug like that if I wanted to, tbh. My gut tells me it's a mod conflict, but spunk only uses new forms and overwrites nothing, so... maybe it's one of those pernicious little engine bugs like this, or perhaps a remote chance that NVSE's event handlers got screwed up, I dunno.

It seems to me that this version of Spunk, that should include the lust system, doesn't have this feature. Am I right? So then, could I install also Sexout Lust along Spunk? Which version?

It'll usually be that I'll start dialogue with someone and then they'll say what they have to say and the game will crash just before my dialogue options pop up.

Have a look at your entire LO in FNVEdit to see if there are any mods that add dialog to default topics like GREETING, HELLO or GOODBYE, then see in the GECK if those lines add a topic through the "Add Topic" box.

I also notice it is asking for a version of NVSE that does not exist on the Silverlock site

OH SHIT, after installing a different Sexout Mod (Soliciting) I figured out I am using a old version of Sexout NG. Thanks for the advice

I would like to have to keep it on longer rather that it just sliding off within a few moments

DoctaSax Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 Spunk's ohud patch makes ohud display lust as another primary need like hunger, thirst & sleep. That's all it does. I hope to start working on my own hud/ui by the end of the month. Can't tell when that'll be finished though.

It requires a lot of xml coding, & connecting it all to my scripts. Still I'm pretty confident that if I get it to work, I can use it for lots of other stuff besides displaying lust.

(Yes - it's the same question I put on Wear & Tear. SIA).

I just did that along with the new perg beta. Should I use both 0.88 and the 0.88 esp update to perform the update?
