ButchDiavolo Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 If you guys can't narrow that down, run the debug log again with the sexout debug on (not scanner, just the first mcm checkbox) and upload a new one. I think something somewhere is screwing up the sexout InUse flag. There aren't a lot of people having this problem of actors seeming to remain locked after an act from the descriptions, but there are enough that I'm starting to really wonder what's causing it. If the actor is locked by sexout and not unlocked at the end, the clean save has to also be devoid of the sexout ESM to get the NX flags cleared. *sigh* yes, I am an idjit. I forgot to include the NVSE extender in the un-/reinstall. I did it now and it all works fine again, so it wasn't SO Spunk. As I said I have had this issue before, but that was quite a while ago so I forgot that it is usually NX that causes it. I even wrote a sorta kinda troubleshooting post for it a few months back, telling people to un-/reinstall NX and see if that happens! DUH me. Not sure if this will help you Prideslayer, but the problem started while I was in the Anchorage Memorial and a Mirelurk attempted to assault me (I use SO Assault). Instead of assaulting me, it just stood there. And after that, sex just wasn't happening anymore. So it appears that some NX flag got stuck. And as stated, the un-/reinstall of NX cleared the problem for me. Anyway, thanks for the help guys! EDIT: Prideslayer, if it happens again, I will make sure to get a debug log for SexOut to you and post it in either the Sexout or the NX forum.
prideslayer Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Well here's the problem. It's not the act that's failing that I need a debug log for, to find this issue. Its the last act that was successful BEFORE that one. Fucking tough to get, I know, but that's the act that's somehow leaving actors in a locked state. Once they're locked and not unlocked, every act after that is going to fail in exactly the same way and those logs don't help me find the cause. That said, yes NX is essential. Glad it's working now.
prideslayer Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Doc, check in over here if you would, he managed to capture it all. Spunk probably isn't involved but I suppose it could be since lust functionality is there now right? Could use your input on the callback issue anyway I think.
lister1911 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Doc, First, excellent mod, thanks very much for all the work you've put into this! I have a couple questions when you have a minute: I'd like the cum effect to persist longer than the current 45 seconds so I tried to increase the duration to an hour in the Effects Shaders for the various SpunkSHCarrierXTX files. However, any changes I make don't seem to have an effect. I increased the Alpha Fade Out Time but that doesn't seem to work--is that the correct Fill/Texture location for time? And if so, is there a limit that I might be exceeding (I tried 3600 but saw no difference)? Also, sometimes the cum has good coverage but is hard to see depending on lighting; is there a way to make it a bit more white and slightly less translucent? I was thinking that could be accomplished by adjusting the Full Alpha Ratio but I wasn't sure if that would work or which way the values should change.... Finally, while the "Freakish" texture works pretty good for most threesome encounters, after a Super Mutant gangbang in the Chryslus Building, I'd like to see much more "coverage" for scenes like this. Would it be possible to somehow layer cum textures after each orgasm to increase the apparent volume and coverage on the player? I almost forgot; are Amra72's animations compatible with Spunk? Thanks again for the fantastic work Doc. It's greatly appreciated.
DoctaSax Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 I explained most of your shader duration-related questions here. I remember trying out layering shaders over another at one point, but it didn't pan out. For opacity you can tinker with full alpha ratio (the maximum opacity given to the shader) and the peristent alpha ratio (the minimum opacity that stays). The animated shaders progress from full to persistent over the course of the "alpha fade out time" setting. I lowered the persistent alpha ratio a while ago to make them match that of the persistent shaders, which should look dried up. 0.1 looked good for that on my setup when I tested, but there's no accounting for lighting mods & ENB. I'll probably end up increasing the fade out duration, so that it stays at a fuller opacity longer. Atm though, I'm quite heavily into adding enjoyment variables for all actors, which should give them preferences for certain act types depending on orgasms/frustration. Amra's anims, in as far as they were added to SexoutSex by CK, are supported. (anims #10000-10010) All the rubbing, frotting etc have been given proper role strings and location strings.
lister1911 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Damn, thanks for the quick reply Doc. I don't know how I missed your post but I read the whole thread I swear! I tried to change the script value from 7 to 710 (3550 seconds since I set the shader duration to 3600) but I can not for the life of me get the script to save. Does it matter that I changed the values of the Effect Shaders first? ETA: I can't even open the file and save without modification. And it doesn't matter which script I try, I can't seem to save any scripts for some reason.
DoctaSax Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 Saves fine for me - are you loading the geck with NVSE?
MidnightVT Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I could use some help. I dont understand Im getting the error my stuff isnt up to date BUT IT IS. why? how do I fix? what did I do wrong? I downloaded NVSE 4.6.2. beta FROM THE SPUNK LINK and extracted it to my NV directory. I have NVSE Extender 15 I have the newest NG core and Data. Can anyone help me explain? only thing I can thik of it says 2.8.90b1 .. hmm maybe i need to search for that EDIT; Found the SExout NG beta thread, downloaded the new sexout.esm file and overwrote one in my data folder. launched. still same error. the version number didnt increase by doing that.

I'd swap Slavery and SCR in your load order but it looks like you've got all the requirements for Spunk. I'm not sure if Base or OffSpring would cause any conflicts. Hopefully Doc will see something and chime in for you.
ButchDiavolo Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Post put in spoiler to save some space I could use some help. Did you package the Sexout beta ESM file into a format readable by FOMM? Like a 7z, rar or zip file? Unfortunately FOMM can't read esm files as they are. They have to be put in a zipped archive and then added with the packaged manager/ add fomod. This will add a new sexout mod. In the mod list the version number of SexoutNG Core and Data will not change.
MidnightVT Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I manually installed it, which is the same thing. I just put it in the data folder overwriting the previous version. adding the file to an archive and having fomm activate it does the same thing.
Wired Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Try to install NVSE NX 15 as fomod file. Or reinstall. I had the same error and this helped me. BTW, I'm not sure but msex.esm you might want to swap with SexoutOffspring.esm and place it at the end of the esm-list, put SmallerTalk.esp at the very end of the plugin list.

Iv done this still had the issue. Prideslayer updated the Sexout NG Core today. I am not sure if this will help with your error, since you downloaded the Beta version (and installed the beta correctly judging from your description), but it is worth a try, right? Other than that I unfortunately have no idea why it won't work for you. Perhaps uninstalling everything Sexout related (including the NVSE extender), loading the game without the sexout mods, making a clean save, then reinstalling the Sexout mods might do something?
MidnightVT Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 UPDATE I got it working. I did a clean install. I made a mistake when trying to install breeder and dumped some older files into my data folder and that was the cause. all set now and using FOMM for everything
Phelps1247 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Same problem here but I don't have breeder. The problem also occurs with SOFO telling me it's not updated. (and it is.)
Jebovsek Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Updated everything, still the same problems. Checked versions manually, NVSE checks out, as does NX, but SexoutNG fails hard. I've got core 2.9.91, and data 2.7.81, but in game it reads it as 2.7.88 for some reason. (Before updating I had 2.6.85 and 2.6.81)Can anyone confirm if the version of the newest SexoutNG isn't formed correctly?EDIT: Nevermind, turns out "Fertile Breeder" overrides SexoutNG version... Hopefully it gets sorted out soon.
Bullfrog Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I was wondering, is there a safe way to uninstall Spunk after using it on a save? cuz after fiddlin around with mods yesterday I saw that some saves CTD on load without it and work again fine with it
DoctaSax Posted February 18, 2015 Author Posted February 18, 2015 The only risky thing about Spunk would be leaving nx variables behind, and you can get rid of those by toggling off each system, then waiting a while in-game so that it takes effect. CTDs shouldn't be happening unless someone out there set spunk as a master for something. If not that, I'll need more intel.
prideslayer Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 NX vars are not a CTD danger in any situation I can imagine. Even invalid ones, were they left around, would only cause a script crash. The latest FOMM will not only change the color of any mods using it as a master if you disable it, but will also prevent the game from launching until you enable it or disable the mods that require it.
DoctaSax Posted February 18, 2015 Author Posted February 18, 2015 Yeah, when I said risky, I really meant keeping leftover stuff on uninstall. But I've got cleanup scripts going on anyway in case people toggle something off in-game, so if people get really tired of spunk and wish to wipe off every trace they should just toggle everything off first, and let those do their work.
DMCDante Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I have the same problem as a poster before. I have installed all the prerequisites which are sexoutNG 2.9.91, NVSE 4.6 beta2 and NX 15. The game still quits on me everytime I try this. This is my load order FalloutNV.esm DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm OldWorldBlues.esm LonesomeRoad.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm ClassicPack.esm MercenaryPack.esm TribalPack.esm CaravanPack.esm MikotoBeauty.esm Sexout.esm SexoutSlavery.esm T6M Equipment Replacer NV.esm SexoutCommonResources.esm SexoutLegion.esm SexoutKhans.esp SexoutSpunk.esp SmallerTalk.esp Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition.esp SexoutWorkingGirl.esp MMUE POP.esp SCS - CombatArmour.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp MikotoBeauty.esp SexoutPowderGangers.esp SexoutFiends.esp SexoutNCR.esp SexoutKings.esp SexoutZAZ.esp SexyTacticalOutfitT6M.esp T6M CH Raider Armor.esp Total active plugins: 32 Total plugins: 37 And I started setting up sexout and SCR using this tutorial http://www.loverslab.com/topic/7727-sexout-faq-read-this-to-get-started/and http://www.loverslab.com/topic/22156-tutorial-scr-resources-folder-creation/ I'd really love to test this with Lust but I can't as it constantly quits on me saying I do not meet the required files.
prideslayer Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 If it's saying you don't have the required files, it's not lying. One or more of the things on that list was not installed right.
DMCDante Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Could something from the SCR tutorial be responsible for a version downgrade? It just seems such a chore to set up SCR properly. I am doing a clean install now and only going to install the necessary mods needed for spunk. Edit: Fixed it, it was the NVSE, do not download the one it's homepage (http://nvse.silverlock.org/download/) as it's 4.6 beta1 not 4.6 beta2. I should have read description more in depth which was my mistake.
