I'm running into an issue with dialogues where they don't read what the context of player responses are, just what I assume are vanilla/placeholder for custom dialogue options. Example screenshot in the spoiler:

It's making it hard to parse through conversations with Marina without telling her I'm done talking lol. Does anyone know what could be causing this? MSMA is the only dialogue affected. The only dialogue mods I'm using are Extended Dialogue Interface and Full Dialogue Interface if those could be causing something to go wrong.

I may be wrong, but those two mods shouldn't be run together.

 

The website for XDI actually states that it is incompatible with FDI.

What I use is Extended Dialogue Interface with RED. There are patches for them to co-exist.

You were completely right! I disabled FDI and that fixed it. Serves me right for taking the lazy way out when I made my current mod list and building off of my old one from years ago without much thought as to what goes where lol

Thank you @judge007!

On a separate note, I've been playing with XDI almost exclusively, and omitted to go through all dialogues and make sure they actually have those proper one-word short prompts filled in (so they don't display the vanilla placeholder).
Will have to add it to the task list, to cover the rare case that someone insists on playing MSMA without a functioning XDI (even though it is on the requirement list).

been converting clothes to FG like crazy the past week - mostly Vtaw stuff - ran into some issues like hair and gloves that cover the fingers - asked for help but no luck so far.   If you need outfits from Vtaw for any NPC or something let know! having fun learning.   Most of it can be turned pink btw

found a weird instance of random crashes, this is on a NG build I put together recently - new game.   It happened at random times, but in sanctuary it happened about 45 seconds after loading a save there.   A high percentage of the crashes all had the mascara script as the last thing that ran before the crash, in the papyrus log.   I turned it off and have been testing outfits in sanctuary on and off all day and have not crashed once.   This is however after starting a new game again as the crashing was getting often enough it was not going to work anymore.   Turned the mascara off right after speaking to Marina and have had zero issues so far - did have sex with all the bugs there as a testing ground.   And sorry I did not think of it in time and no longer have a log with a crash available as I have been logging in and off so often today.

What mascara script are we talking about, specifically?

What is the specific name of the option that you turned off, and what value was it when it crashed, and what value did you set it to when it stopped crashing?
Is this about the runny mascara face tints that apply to the face when the makeup gets messed up? (sleeping or doing activities)?

I might be missing something- for a while, I was getting Bimbo points fairly regularly.  I'm now at Bimbo level 2, but getting bimbo points are now very sporadic.  What is the process or check that is done to get Bimbo points?  Also, its not totally clear what actually causes the player to get a Bimbo point.

I am away from my home and modding computer, so I can't check with 100% accuracy, but from memory: 
Bimbo points are awarded by: 

- Completing key story missions/Quests (like Wedge's flicks scenes, from the Sanctuary Bimbo alt-solve),
- Achieving sexual activity milestones (body count thresholds, number of orgasm thresholds, and such - these are not linearly distributed  awards; each subsequent time, higher counts are needed for the next awarded point)  
- Engaging in the tougher charm/prostitution scenarios and achieving galactic orgasms for customers.
- Bimbo limbo punishments (not that I'd recommend using that as a bimbo point generator)

And last but not least: 
- Bimbo Level-Ups

 

 

It is not meant to be very obvious; there is a matter of experimentation, exploration, and discovery to find out what bimbo activities offer bimbo points.
That being said, I should probably make the Queen of Hearts say something when you are getting new bimbo points.

ya it was the default runny mascara setting - which is set to 1 I believe (use if NR is installed) and turning that off seemed to remove some of the crashing.   NG seems much less stable to me the OG, I am sure there are some settings that need to be tweaked to get it working 100%  Its just a test for now, can always just switch back to OG with downgrade again.

Also, on a separate, far more experimental note, this might be an acquired taste, but combining South American Cumbia and Dubstep is, to me, a fresh sound.

Haven't quite heard it elsewhere before ( that being said, it is not necessarily a merit in itself :D,)  maybe it hasn't been heard because it is too weird )

 

The "tripped" rhythm of cumbia, which to me illustrates a difficult, perhaps even "limping" path, is particularly fitting, especially when combined with the electronic corruption of dubstep.
Went through SO many approaches,  trying to make chiptune work with cumbia, chillstep with cumbia, future garrage cumbia, note of them hit quite as hard as proper dubstep.

Has anyone else run into an issue with KFT or Devious devices that change the PC's movement animations breaking the MSMA bimbo ones? Any time I find myself with things like leg cuffs or yokes the normal bimbo movement animations don't come back after the devices get removed and I get reverted to vanilla movement animations so I have to reload to a save before they got equipped.

Not going to argue reality (While I have heard stories, the lack of citations doesn't help the case)...but insofar as the B-chip goes, I would suggest nothing's really off the table when the cravings get going. Logical, but in a game where you tend not to get a choice and require specific acts, perhaps game logic should trump reality.

Can't say I have, though 3 thoughts occur: 1, toggle bimbo walk off, save, reload then re-enable bimbo walk could reset it. 2, equip then unequip a kft petsuit and see if it was a removal script issue. 3, can't remember the name but there's something like a disposition toggle, one for face and one for body I think, that might bluff a reset.

Just curious- if we wanted to bypass Nuka-Ride, is there a way to get just the outifts / items that this mod uses, or is there a significant loss by not installing Nuka-Ride?  Also, is there a way to flag other piercings as piercings for this mod?

Also, I like to use some other mods clothing, but there are several that it doesn't accept putting in the chest to flag as bimbo-level appropriate.  Is there another way to force it to think it is?  A couple of the examples are the DX Bikini / Fetish items that this doesn't like to flag.

Edit: I used the Indarello patch, but without patching the animations. The error seems to have disappeared. I will check how it works in the future.

I believe that is a bug in DD I remember reading something like that in the thread - where is doesn't reset some state on the character.   While I have KFT installed as its a requirement for some things I have it set to zero probabability as I don't plan on ever being in restraints unless I choose.   DD has always been buggy even in its latest form.   I would ask on their thread as its common enough you should get a quick response.   Some things around the adult animation world were soooo much better in Skyrim which doesn't make a ton of sense to me.
