At some point, the social commenters in MSMA will be able to actually initiate more complex interactions, yes. Right now, if you want that type of content, you'll still have to use SH+ for that.
MSM_Alice Posted August 6 Author Posted August 6 (edited) One more update to sort out a non-critical extra notification about whatkind ofmusic is playing that was appearing at the wrong time. Did not increase the version number this time because even if you are on the previous one, it is just as good; the difference is minor. Edited August 6 by MSM_Alice

I would like to be able to just get the game mechanics of the mod and live my life in the game. The MSMA story is not mandatory. After you talk with Marina for the very first time you have an option to skip the MSMA story it altogether and just go with the procedural systems. @bradster511 I honestly do not know when I will extend the story rail . I need a significant amount of time to do that. do the quest voices andwhatnot and i don;t know when I will get to those, while still balancing a full time job and the house . Right now the immediate focus is to - have more events for the player to report to Marina - more optional Marina dialogues, related to various bimbo milestones - flesh out the mesmerize system (as it essentially this is this mod's custom early-self-surrender-before-combat-begins, to bypass Violate surrender), so there are a lot of Dialogues and interactions to build there at the start depending on the player's status, player followers, enemies around, the enemy's level of suspiciousness, and so on. - Add bimbo drugs for increasing effectiveness against certain types of enemies (the idea is to know what kinds of enemies you are against and load up on various cocktails of specific chems that help you deal with them better - but chems will have advantages and disadvantages). For instance, chems that help you deal with small partners better will have as a side effect that a large partner might break you right away or vice versa. Or chems that increase your effectiveness in one-on-ones make you super vulnerable to group scenes, or vice versa, chems that help you with group scenes make you vulnerable to one-on-ones. So one needs to be careful about which chems are used when. Just mindlessly taking opposing chems might mean you get the disadvantages from both and advantages from none, so you need to be deliberate about which bimbo chems you use and when, and not just take all and hope for the best. Might integrate with BLTC, and have those items be used as ingredients for chems.. will see. - build out the Marina+Viggo romance ( or the fail paths if Viggo is not properly trained, but still you push Marina to go forward with it) - de-bimbo school physical location and the ways to corrupt that if not paying attention. - quests related to supporting Mister SJ's efforts in securing allies to take the base back. ( these ones will probably be ones on the mod's story main rail) - Mister SJ's base (also on the main story rail) Edited August 6 by MSM_Alice 2
MSM_Alice Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 (edited) I am working on the mesmerize system to make it more proper : Writing this as a sounding board, open to hearing other potential ideas around this flow: It is going to be something like: Step 1: Initiate mesmerize (VATS-> use Sexfight Button on selected enemy/hostile target): player does the initial " yohoo" to grab the attention of the target. Step2: Then the target notices the player, and then (choose approach type: the enemy and their nearby friends walk to the player (default) , OR Cheat/overpowered: enemy "magically" teleports to player, or player "magically" teleports to enemy (either cheat or unlocked by more advanced implant use). Step 3. Approach phase ends, Player engages in conversation with the mesmerized target and the friend group they had around them at the time of the "mesmerisation", aiming to overcome the mesmerized's (conversational) suspicion. As a consequence of that, depending on how well this phase was handled, we decide what is about to happen once the conversation ends (number of scenes, types of interactions, (or maybe just end mesmerize and jump into combat if things REALLY went south) Step 4: proceed with the scenes, win sexfight (AAF) - can be multiple scenes depending on the number of friends the mesmerized target had. Step 5: (maybe) optional: mini conversations between scenes that might further alter some aspects. AAF scene sequence ends, apply good end, initiate infiltration ( or apply bad end) based on sexfight performance in the scene sequence There is going to be a "Suspiciousness" mechanic where the player has to talk and put to rest some of the enemy's natural hostility/suspiciousness. If the mesmerized target is a sole target with no nearby friends, it's going to be very easy. Even for low-level bimbos, overcoming suspiciousness of a solo target should be a walk in the park. The more friends he has around, the more difficult it will be; the friends' remarks will snap the target group from "mermerisation" with some common sense observations. a. If the suspiciousness of the targets is not handled, they might be a lot more brutal/dangerousin what actions they can take or the types of scenes they demand, or at the very least the AP cost challenge will be much increased. And if not all sexfights are won, at the end it will likely be a bad end. b. If the suspiciousness is conquered, then everyone is much more chill about things, it is going to be a lot more predictable and less outrageous/extreme; also no real danger after ( even if the sexfight is not won, no real punishment only some ridicule perhaps). Overcoming suspicion can be done based on a. passive statuses ( bimbo level, bimbo subclasses level, looks score (and everything that goes into it), cleanliness, degrading tattoos one has, active rumors /deeds, sexual fame, number of weapons or other items player is currently carrying, restrained status .. all that summed up and pitted against the number and level and combat readiness of the enemy group. Enemy type will matter too, chronically horny raiders will be more likely to fall for this than gunners. Similarly, Gunners will be more gullible on his than Brotherhood of Steel knights or Institute synths, for instance. Naturally, being in a faction that is the natural enemy of the faction you are mesmerizing will not help you onthe passives side (but in someedge cases, it might really help you in the later conversation if you lean into it in a certain way and frame it differently). b If those passives are not enough to secure a " suspicion win," then they can be further helped/boosted with active choices in the conversation that one can make (like acquiescing to the enemy's derogatory remarks, positioning oneself in a certain way, mentally or physically, doing a " what can I do to prove it to you " then doing what they ask, no matter how ridiculous, ... but that chips away at self-esteem, willpower, mind health, sex addiction or CVTs) Or by takig initiative, paying attention to what the bimboskope tells you about the target of themesmerize might be worthwhile. Regarding the Active conversation choices of overcoming suspiciousness. if one knows how toharp on about their preferences/fetishes, (as if you were into the same thing they are into), they will be more likely to ignore their own alarm bells/suspicions. Do that at random, without knowing what they like, and they will become a lot more suspicious. In a later iteration, the current companion can play some parts too. They can be: - Dismissed at the start. - Present but not interacting/ left alone: their presence and unwillingness to be part of it, will make it harder for you to overcome suspiciousness of mesmerized enemies. Special cases can be carved out. Having Strong as a companion might actually work in your favour if mesmerizing supermutants. Having Codsworth can work in your favour if mesmerizing robots. Having Curie in human form can be in your favour when mesmerizing synths. Having Cait might help with Raiders. Hancock with non-feral ghouls, Danse maybe with the Brotherhood. Will see. - present and unwillingly interacting: if you did not manage to overcome suspiciousness, and the targets decided you are in fact dangerous trying to pass off as harmless, then the enemies will help themselves to your companion too ( or they might run off if they don't feel like being too loyal). Your companion might hate you for bringing them into this without them agreeing to it. - present and willingly interacting: ( if this has been discussed and agreed to beforehand, then their presence and activity will help you overcome suspiciousness and having to deal with fewer enemies.) Tartarus the sauced Posted August 10 Posted August 10 I realize I am the minority in the respect that I really don't understand the Degrading tats/language that is pervasive throughout most mods built and distributed here on LL. Why can't a Bimbo be proud and devastating without being lowered to the gutter?! Basic "HeMan woman hater" actions. There, in my mind, is far to much of this behavior scattered in throughout most mod's, it is very tiring for me at least. I love Marina, hope you will have a story arc for her. I do have to ask about the "Ambient" music that plays when the bimbo song is done, is that this mod or a conflicting mod? I personally wish there was a dedicated radio station for your music, having the appropriate interuptions when actions call for it. Thank You for your work, and for sharing it!

Unilateral power trips where one is proud and devastating are very common in most games, but ... they rarely hold a lesson. This mod is a tool, you can use this mod as a total power trip, where you stomp all over your enemies, all-powerful and proud (I've certainly put the MCM settings for weeding most if not all self-image disadvantages out ), ... but it can also be something else. Themes like trauma bonding, self worth/self love/ self hate explorations are... challenging if not impossible to do in unilateral power trips where one's reigns tall, proud, and their will is supreme over everyone else. It is only when one starts to consider some personal sacrifice, or loss, and how one recovers from that loss, that is where the harder questions begin. That loss right here just happens to be maybe the self-image. To reflect on why one would want to do one or the other is for you to ponder. It might start with the question: who is that Fallout4 player character for you? Is the character a part of yourself, or was the character merely someone external, someone you control / kindly guide/ or cruely toy with? And knowing that, the mods you use, the reasoning on why you walk the path that you did.... there is where the self-exploration begins. If the character is "others" , why the sadism? If the character is "you", why the masochism? Can you struggle and find a way to compassion instead, or will you hammer on in other ways? These questions and answers, whether consciously outlined or subconsciously explored, are for each player. I am just here to open the door and give you the cookie that enables you to go through. But beware: In Wonderland, just because the potion is on the table with a label that says " drink me", does not mean it is always a good idea to drink it without careful consideration. This mod has no ambient instrumental) music system; that one is from the vanilla game or some other mod. The only purely instrumental track is the one that played during the Wedge quest. I don't disagree with your answer, and Thanks for that, one can be devastating in many ways, not always a power trip. I did start my question with the statement of being the minority, I personally find the rape tats distasteful, that is my opinion, not trying to change anything or anyone. I guess I wish there was a workaround for those being used yet still have the perks they distribute. About the music, I go into build mode at a settlement or when the provided spicy track has ended and instrumental plays for a really long time, I set a keyboard key to start the next spicy track so I can move past it yet if I leave it run I tend to hear the same few songs alot. In a week of playing I heard Bimbo Limbo once. How do I sort out where the instrumental is coming from, as far as I know I don't have any mods to supply those tracks. Thanks as always, and I got your recent updated files for my next game, Thanks for you work! Any plans on a dedicated radio station? I usually try to play a mod with the authors intent foremost in my playthrough, I usually don't even adjust the MCM settings unless something is really annoying.

Thanks as always, and I got your recent updated files for my next game, Thanks for you work! Any plans on a dedicated radio station? I usually try to play a mod with the authors intent foremost in my playthrough, I usually don't even adjust the MCM settings unless something is really annoying. I have no good idea how to do the detective work on what music might be playing. It does sound like what you were hearing on repeat, might be the music specific to that settlement, not MSMA music. MSMA only has one single common instrumental track with no voice, the Wedge one. In the MSMA MCM, in the music section, you can tell MSMA also displays the track name as a notification in most cases when it plays music randomly. So in most cases, when it starts, you can know if it is from MSMA or not. If the Pip-Boy radio is on, MSMA music generally will not play. ( until the radio is turned off again) . Bimbo Limbo tracks are indeed meant to very rarely be played in the game, outside of bimbo limbo itself. I did explore the idea of a radio, but in the end gave up since I realized 1. - For that to work, I need to duplicate all that music data as sounds , ( instead of music tracks), as the engine that plays radio songs wants the files to be located within the Sounds folder, and the music system ( what I am using now) wants them to be in the "Music" folder. And I tried to trick it, but it seems the engine is very strict about where the files need to be. So essentially they need to be echoed twice if I wanted a radio, and it seemed excessive. 2- In the end, to avoid duplicating all music files, instead of a classic Pip-Boy radio station, that would require access to the Pip-Boy ( and in restrained scenarios sometimes that is not available), I added that music-on-demand hotkey that plays a new MSMA track on demand / stops the current track. Even on scenarios where the pipboy is locked or removed from the player, that hotkey and the music it plays stay accesible. I thought that to be an acceptable compromise, as that also allows thematically context music to eventually step in. Any degrading tattoos that insane raiders psycho supermutants , or derranged gunners might add, can be removed in a bespoke granular manner, at Marina, by paying bimbopoints. Alternatively, the per-item advantages or disadvantages that a tattoo brings can be scaled, up or down, in the mcm so you can get most advantages or disadvantages that 10 or 20 degrading tattoos would bring with far fewer ones, that maybe are not as degrading ( you can always remove the ones you find problematic individually by name at Marina) . Once you have a few good ones that you like, and you have scaled up the advantages they bring to a value that you like, then you can always suppress new ones from ever being added on top by MSMA. If you also have other tattoo mods like TatsAfterRape, then that works in parallel to MSMA, and its content is not managed by MSMA. If you want to "hack" the Tattoos from Captive Tattoos mod ( that is the tattoo library MSMA is using) so you don't see them on the player, even though they are there, probably there is a technical way to unpack the BA2 from that mod and change the images there to a fully transparent DDS) (instead of the ones that exist now). I don't use other tattoo packs aside from Captive Tattoos right now. Edited August 10 by MSM_Alice 1

"QOH comments on {insert_event_type_here}" settings, are all grouped on the QOH page in the MCM. Aside from blocking Qoh from commenting on that, you can also mitigate the situatio in earnest: - Mitigate overexertion by wearing helpful gear ( and tune in MCM how much helpful gear helps) - Mitigate overexertion by investing in Strength. You need strength to carry increased weights around. ( or tune in MCM how much extra strength helps) - Or even change the threshold for what constitutes "Overexertion" If you'd rather just mute QOH, but penalties ( AP drain/ HP drain) should still apply, here is a screenshot with which settings would do that.: Unclear on why it would repeat 2x, they have an anti-repeat timer. Maybe some mid-playthrough upgrade caused a double instantiation of that system at some point? I would suspect the scene there plays some locomotion animation perhaps, Edited August 11 by MSM_Alice

DarksideTinkerbell Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Your other option is to hotkey the Supress Sexfight option, which disables a sex fight for that scene. Mind you that also means if you are using the mechanic for infiltration or just to kill, neither will be able to happen, as you turned Sexfight off.

It is not an alternate infiltration mode. Just a different way to start it. Mesmerize is : Go into VATS, pick a target that you are not already in combat with. Press SexFight key, lure distant enemies in by appearing as either: an annoying foe cussing at them (like a typical enemy would), [Chance to gain Not a bimbo points, nullify sex addiction cost to start the mesmerize but start the dialogue minigame with a handicap, draw attention from enemies from a MASSIVE area; they are all alerted] wandering lady, open to options (a regular "Yohoo"), [Chance to gain Agent Bimbo points, 50% reduce sex addiction cost to start the mesmerize, start dialogue minigame with no handicap but also no advantage] nightwalker, eager and willing to be entertainment (typical nightwalker calling to Johns with flirty calls), [Chance to gain Airhead bimbo points. Normal sex addiction cost to start, draws little attention - small area to activate enemies in, because of familiarity with the situation of occasionally being visited by nightwalkers). Start minigame with some advantage.] or totally deranged bimbo slut, starving for action (shocking statements). [Chance to gain Power Bimbo points, makes people curious, draws attention from enemies from a large area. Start minigame with some advantage. ] then (eventually) have a conversation with some dialogue gameplay centered around your efforts of presenting yourself as non-threatening to enemies (will likely mean good awareness of their preferences and biases, spending some self-esteem or willpower or even CVT as nonthreatening might often mean presenting yourself in a self deprecating way) to have them drop their guard (or not - go the opposite way, continue to cuss tem, berate them , pokefun at them to to claw back your self-esteem, your willpower, your CVT, or sex addiction). At any rate, this results in one or more AAF scenes. (more violent or not, easier or not, based on the dialogue path/ minigame). progress through said AAF scene(s), and then based on the combined sexfight result of all that (all foes mindbroken or not), and howharmless you appeared, either begin infiltration (without having to go through a classical AAF Violate surrender). be executed as a foe, sent to Bimbo Limbo. (this happens if the scenes were violent due to a supremely botched dialogue mini-game, and not ALL enemies were mindbroken via sexfight) That is what mesmerize is. Nothing more, nothing less. A more "immersive" way of doing an alt-surrender that can give you an easier, more manageable sequence of AAF scenes, and a better way into an infiltration. Or if you insist on berating your target, poking fun, or cussing at them like there's no tomorrow, who knows; some might take offense, and it might be harder than a normal surrender. The non aggro that follows after is an infiltration that follows normal infiltration rules. Infiltration will never be permanent. Higher-level bimbos do get more infiltration time. Bimbo agents also get even more infiltration time. The make-up ( and other factors) contributes to your WOW Appearance score. That score ties into many things, including how much AP Sex challenges cost in sexfight. Higher appearance WOW score, lower AP cost in sexfight. You generally want to keep that score high. That means cleanliness, proper hairdo, proper makeup, and so on. Edited August 14 by MSM_Alice
