After Sanctuary and Codsworth, before going to concord I went to Abernathy (I have Nora spouse companion and wanted to take her)

Received Abernathy locket quest

Went to concord, saved the guys, returned to Marina, then Viggo

Viggo played with the remote control, then gave it to me, and as compensation resolved Abernathy locket

Returned to MArina, gave her the remote control

Went to Sanctuary, Preston gave me Tenpines buff

Returned to Viggo, no dialog option, he only asks for a trinket

In retrospect, it makes sense, it is because I didn't fully cover the case of a settlement quest being acquired by wandering into it done BEFORE Preston giving you  Tenpines Bluff, but I enthusiastically created the intro point to allow that to happen :) (because it was meant for later quests that you would  just run  into on the map, but after doing" The First Steps" at Tenpines)

https://www.loverslab.com/topic/245511-msma-sexfight-like-succubus-drain-and-bimbofication/page/165/#findComment-7307932

What if you do the tenpine bluff the old-fashioned way, get named general by Preston, he gives you a newmission,  and come back to Viggo? Does he get unstuck, and do you get the 4 responses then?

I should make it so Viggo does not activate until the First Steps Quest is started or completed.  That should sort this out.

Bringing a trinket also might get him unstuck.
The crux of it is " The first Steps" at  Tenpines Bluff needs to be done, and reported in,  before Viggo training / non-trinket path can start.

Before that is non-sexual, trinkets only payment.

I may not be able to do Tenpines buff before I level up a bit: with my load order, Corvega is full of reinforced raiders and not something I can do with a new character.

EDIT I can try to cheat a trinket and give it to Viggo and see if he becomes unstuck

Then maybe a trinket you find on a downed sexfight enemy.

I'll do my corrections on my side as well.  In future versions, Viggo will only first activate AFTER Preston gives you Tenpines Bluff  "The First Steps" ,  and once he does, his first solve (as compensation for what he did with the Tablet) will be Tenpines Bluff , even if you happen to have other settlement quests active/lined up.

yeah you can try that too

MSMA_UnusualTrinket is the name of the item.
Formid is XX06F11F, with XX being the hexadecimal ID of the MSMA mod in your load order

Out of curiosity. I  do have a settler-player cutscene, where the settler , the settlement spokesperson, ( and not Preston) is introing Viggo (though it is for now unvoiced and I  didn;t think it would play ever, since I assumed Preston will always intro Viggo first)

Did that play when you wandered in at  Abernathy ( before Concord) , or did the Viggo quest just unexplainably start the moment the quest started?

So resolved Tenpines buff with setstage, returned to Preston who nominates me general and gives another stlement quest

Go to Viggo, know I have a new quest and asks a trinket to help. My only response possible is "okey-dokey"

I don't remember how viggo started, but I can load a save before and see what happens, although I will not have the response  immediately, I will play again in a few hours

Hmm.. i have no  explanation because this is the scene:
image.png.d3e9a2a3fd1a5c38e64d0893f70a85da.png

And in that scene is this stackof answers:

image.png.4eaae924174c5f0fa9acd2fc99033ee9.png

And the two answers in the middle that open that path should appear whether you have or  do not have trinkets (slightly different though)

image.png.12e6ac98afc5a32469827a715fdb1c5d.png

Seems that the dialogue selector is skipped entirely, and I have no clue why, as it has no skip condition.

MSMA_ViggoQuestFlag1 should be greater than 1 only after the sexual path is started, you can check that in console but it should not have any way to be 2 or greater. should be 0 or 1.

Solving tenpines with setstage does not always clear all radiant flags related to it and update the tracking quests related to it.
Please do not solve it with setstage, as that tosses several wrenches in the gears.

Bring a trinket to viggolet him solve it for you, so that it is "clean".

Returned to an older save; Go to abernathy before concord, when Blake give me the quest for the locket, it also starts the viggo the vigilante quest

Also tried the save when Preston give me the Tenpines buff quest, added a trinket to my inventory, now Viggo says I must level up a bit (reach lvl 10) before asking him for help

That is correct / seems normal.
If you go via the regular route, you need to be level 10 for Viggo to start doing his thing, past the initial mission that he does as compensation for what he did with Misty's control pad ( which ideally should be The First  Steps at  Tenpines Bluff, but for you it was a different one). That one he does at any level.

This is because Preston will also stop giving you missions after the first few ones,  unless you are level 10 or above. Most missions that he gives after the first two or three are too difficult under level 10, so they have that condition in.  So I replicated for Viggo as well, for consistency, and to be extra save it  set it to do that immediately after "The First Steps".

I have a question, if Viggo completes the Tenpines quest does this clear Corvega, firstly because I want the Grognak magazine from there and also I was wandering if Jared would be still alive because I want enslave most named raider bosses by HR and have them work in Sanctuary

Viggo just clears the quest and opens them up as settlement.   No enemies are defeated in the process and you still have to go build them up as they can be attacked now.

@Chubrikone

Indeed.
Also, even for the settlements where the quest required you to build a radio beacon, he does not really build the radio beacon; he just claims he did.
, lore-wise, you can consider it built, but without defense, so it was taken apart/stolen by scavengers before you get there.

Viggo specifically:
- Completes the specific quest and updates the corresponding variables for it in third-party tracking quests, like the main Minuteman quest.
- Unlocks the workshop
- When hostages are involved, he returns the hostage to the settlement.
- Does not actually clear locations or kill enemies (just pretends he did).

Viggo's sex animations are not triggering. Actors are just standing there, and all dialogue is blocked after when trying to initiate the alternative to trinkets options when the sex scenes are supposed to play. I updated, did everything except a brand new start.

Hello,

You are probably missing some animations, specifically the ones that fit the tags or the name.

What animation packs do you currently have installed?
If you are using NAF, have you re-imported the animation XMLs( MSMA has a few of its own)?

Can you provide a papyrus log captured from that session?

Which specific stage are you at?

I have most of the animation mods except for M/M type mods.

I am not seeing anything there that would put some light on the issue.
Either the event is not there in that log, or there are no errors being flagged around it.

I'll have to cook a version with more log traces specific for this case.

Would still be useful to know:

- Can you provide a papyrus log captured from that session?

- Which specific stage are you at?
- Does it happen on a new game, not an upgrade? ( tall order, I know)

In the meantime, I'll cook a new version.

Here  it is a bit of a more experimental version with :

- Viggo will not naturally appear anymore before "The First Steps" quest ( Tenpine Bluff settlement) is not at least running (or completed)   Like if the player wanders in a settlement in need of help before saving Preston, and before Preston sending themto Tenpines Bluff on  "The First Steps" quest.  Should sort out later flow errors.
- More Papyrus Log traces about what happens with the sex scene for the sexual option side of the Viggo quest, to help  debug ( @xxxxj9 )

Note: still largely untested.

First, apologies: I'm still catching up to date with the thread, but had a few notes that I want to post before I forget again.

Second, even on Loose and seeing that post-NR success with piercings, I still can't equip my Nanosuit Jetpack without the whole drop-equip-pickup palaver.

NR:

Norita's version of Night Fever has a bribery stage with Moe Cronin, he pulls a curtain across his stall but we were interrupted by a guard. Very, very minor incompatibility solvable on the user-end with minor foresight.

Overboss added a defacing tat during a CHAK scene at the end of the current story (the Red Rocket handover)...odd, both for the scene type and the animation chosen, but minor.

CS:

Supposedly on a Pet Walk Marina is supposed to allow her services, but I either had the popup saying disabled or the standard "go away slave" dialogue...this is important for a later thought.

Stuck on a cross getting branded and whipped, and QoH kept lambasting me for not fixing my makeup or brushing my hair. This is HILARIOUS and I really don't want it patched 😅

So. Many. Defacing tats!

Using the bimbo care kits from the inventory stopped working, so I had to use the key for a full service and ran out of wipes.

Though innately counter to the intent of the mod, I found that even in the minimally functional state MSMA worked well with CS, and would suggest enabling sexfight without consequences and implant access would be viable. Trying to contain arousal via sexfight non-answer events helped mitigate a lot of the downsides of forced/denied orgasms and thematically tied nicely with CS, and balancing resisting pleasure vs answering challenges for greater pleasure of the owners (or faster end of scene with auto-end) adds another tactical dimension to the story.

Very much looking forward for the song and QoH statistic data.
I have few complete data points on that from longer play throughs

Not entirely sure how much you'll be getting out of the data for 3 reasons:

1, since you asked for a playthrough without upgrades, maybe if you give your clones a week off it'd be easier to get that un-upgraded status 😜

2, as Marina was non-functional, a lot of her messages will be hair, makeup, and lack of support (also goes for music, most got drowned out but I did keep getting the support one).

3, as the music is tied to cravings, the results will be skewed by settings, preferences, and available partners. For example, I seem to have set this run's cravings to much slower growth than normal, so despite going through NR and CS only oral and vaginal are required more than every 3 days.

Running it a bit longer and getting a tad more slutty now, so hopefully you'll get something useful out of it.

Thank you so much for the feedback.

Hmm.. Unsure if " go away, slave" is my dialogue or a generic Pet walk intercept/dialogue override that applies to most friendlies.
Can you access the services via the implant menu, context sub-menu, Access Marina Services instead? ( whennearby)

Yes, there is a bug with the napkin consuable items that are aidtype, it usually reverts after a quickload,
Partially why I built the routine button.
The miscitem typed one always worked,  by they cannot be mapped on a quick slot so they were phased out.

Will think about it some more.
The thing is, as far as I can tell, NR does not set a consistent NR meta on animations, so I can check if an AAF anim thatstarted are NR anims and skip some things on them (tattoos, the guards interrupting them in Diamond city, and so on) .
The  wayi guess   is to have some bespoke checks, some overlapping conditions ( centered on key stages from key quests being set or not, and certain actors being part of them or not)

Generic CS override. Reloaded and yes, the context submenu works during Pet Walk...though the hologram didn't update to show the selected clothes and it catcalled me while I was browsing outfits 😂

This is the exception to that "always", apparently. On the reload the makeup kit doesn't work, but the perfume and hair do. On the continuing save only the hair brush still works from inventory. Side request, a bulk buy wipes option would be handy (30-50, with a wholesale discount maybe? 😜)

Hmm...maybe a nail maintenance kit that lets you put them back on would also be a nice touch, too (though maybe I've spent too long in Nuka World and should just wait to use Type 3 nails lol).

Hmm, I thought they were pretty much all prefaced as NR_(anim name). That said, the Moe thing makes sense, and OB only did it at the end so it's not really worth running through complicated procedures to fix when you've got more interesting things to work on. Hell, it could be my setup getting "special" again, otherwise I'm sure you'd have heard about it before.

Ok, I think I messed up, I completed the Viggo Bimbo Pad quest BEFORE building up Sanctuary, so the quest Dawn of Bimbos got completed without getting all dialogue scenes, and now Viggo doesn't appear. I am level 12 with Abernathy quest active and he is not at his spot

Depends on what version you are on.

Doing Viggo's intro exchange,  with the pad and whatnot,  before Sanctruary build-up  or after should work either way ( I tested both avenues)
Just that if you do it before,
 - you get the dildo friends unlocked faster ( and you don't have to visit Marina again to get Zen at the end of building up sanctuary.)
 - there's no mention on of any wedge -related activities that might involve or not something from Viggo.
if you do it after
 - There might be some slightly different dialogues, depending on what you have done at wedge.
But any order should be supported.

If you solve this one ( the Abernathy quest)  the old fachioned way, then from that moment on should be okay on the next quest that Preston gives you.
If not let me know what version you are on, what version you were on when you started the  game ( and when you upgraded if you did)  and a papyrus log.

As a rule of thumb: From the settlement quests that Preston gives ou , I look at them as being split in  three categories
- Procedural " Settlement recruitment/  unlock" quest  (Viggo does those)
- Procedural " settlement need  help cuz they are being attacked or whatnot quest "  (Viggo does those)
- Less procedural quests ( with more custom lines), like Troubled Waters for Graygarden, Taking Independence ( the castle) or similar, (Viggo does not usually do those)

Usualyl when a new one is activated ( minutemen RAdio or preston) it  gets Queued up for viggo, and viggo will start appearing,.

If  a certain settlement quest was activatred BEFORE you saved Preston, before you talked with Preston in Sanctuary for the first time,  (thus before viggo was first introed in that playthrough),   and you were on 1.0726  at  the time, then that quest will be considered pre-viggo, and never be "seen " by  Viggo, and whill never be Viggo-sovalbe. Thisis done so we minimize the number of flow issues that might appeara later.

Only the ones that activate AFTER Viggo was introed by Preston.
