Are passive requests working properly, or should I go back to my cave using the bugfixed old version? >_> It is fixed but you need a new game if you used a version pre 1.03 as i needed to change some quest metadata which gets stored inside your save. I've tested it in a new game and unless I've been doing something wrong, it's not fixed. I've started a clean game today after updating and cleaning my mods, and I've been trying this on every update you make without any luck. If I set the solicitation to "Active", and I talk to an innkeeper, the quest starts as usual. When I switch to "Both", I start getting the message "A client is coming for you..." but no client ever comes. I've set the scanning radius to 2 meters, so the only NPCs that could trigger the mod are be the ones in the room, but none of them ever come to ask me anything. If I set the solicitation to "Both" before talking to the innkeeper, when I do, I get the dialogue but the quest never starts. I never get the wench clothes nor the "You're looking for clients" message, I never get the option to ask for clients, and if I talk to the innkeeper I only have the option to ask for job again, as if I hadn't before. thats odd. did you use the "remove loos file.bat" ? since my changes to that quest i did have any problems. Maybe a bug, when the customer wants the biss dialog box opens before the PC and asks for payment, but it overlaps the window of the bed, then the animation runs well, but in the end can not move the PC is locked. Since I'm not a genius of the console, I found that doing the cleaning Deffeat, resolve. What popup covers what? Look like a mod conflict i dont have a popup asking for payment. Well this isn't good for me. I just tried using a older version of RPT and still no menu. Not sure what or why there is such a sudden change with the menu. The quest is running I can talk to the Inn Keeper and get a job but just no MCM menu. Not really sure how to fix that. Hey, Nutsack I ran stopquest mf_prostitute_SimpleJob and stopquest mf_prostitute_handler, then saved, quit, and disabled RPT 1.05g with NMM. Then I deleted it with NMM, and then ran the RPT 'delete loose scripts' bat file in the Skyrim folder, and it found a lot of them so obviously NMM didn't do a very good job of deleting the mod. I then loaded a savegame, got the expected "this save relies on content that is no longer available" and told it to go ahead anyway. Then I walked around a bit, used the Wait function in game to wait 24 hours, then travelled to a couple of towns, then went inside Breezehome and saved twice and exited the game. I then ran the savegame cleaner on that last save, and was relieved that it found no orphan scripts or instances. I manually extracted RPT 1.06 into my game folder and ran BOSS to sort the load order. I loaded up my last save with no problems but had no MCM menu for RPT. I just left myself standing there in Breezehome with the idle camera whirling around my head for 20 minutes while I went and did other things. When I got back, I had the new MCM menu for RPT, complete with the new Quest options. Sadly, it didn't show my client count (said zero) even though SexLab menu knew it was 584 and triple Grand-Master. I set my RPT options the way I like them, turned off the automatic free camera and set my cooldowns to zero so I could pretty much take any available job any time I want. After about 30 minutes of freelancing in an Inn, the RPT menu in MCM suddenly "remembered" my client count and hard-won expertise ranks so I figured all jobs would now be available. Sadly, no Military Camp job was available, so I went on a Home Delivery. I completed it with no CTD for the first time in about a week. Time will tell how reliable it is, but completing even one with no CTD is a major improvement as you can see from my recent posts here. The reason all this wall of text may (or may not ) relate to your issue is that a thorough cleaning of every previous trace of RPT before installing 1.06 is what made my installation work better, even though Kori says we don't need to do that for post-1.03 upgrades. I did it out of sheer desperation and I'm hoping it might work for you as well. When you stop the Handler RP forgets you completely. And the client count gets synchronized with SexLab i think at the end of each job. Quest get unlock step by step just you dont need to do the quests just talk to the inn keeper some more and they will unlock. Well, after all I did, I just tried a Home Delivery and got a CTD when it was time to start an animation. Here's my log. I guess I'm done with Skyrim unless I can get this working. Please, if somebody knows something I haven't tried, let me know. Did you try only once? If so, try again - sometimes sexlab simply ctds. Also, if you're haven't already, switch to skse 1.7 alpha or use ssme while you're waiting for 1.7's final release. That will solve the majority of ctds you get. Been using SKSE 1.70 since the first day this mod required it. And I tried 3 times with the same result each time. Thanks for the revelation that it may be SexLab causing the CTDs though- that makes sense since they ALWAYS occur when I initiate an animation using the Home Delivery quest. I'll uninstall/reinstall SexLab and see if that does anything. Just now implementing a option to enable bed search maybe SexLab does just not like that quest and you in combination.

And as I keep seaying, I just reinstalled the whole game and mods from scratch so I didn't have anything left from old versions (right now I do, since I reinstalled the legacy version as it's the one that works for me, but that was after trying latest).

Rock, I don't know what "customer wants the biss" means, but Kori says that due to the way the Skyrim dialog system works, you will see duplicate and premature dialog boxes frequently when doing RP jobs after you lead a client to "a quiet place" and click on him or her to start the sex. Just ignore the premature request for gold, and as you said, it will go away and the animation will run. SexLab experts have said that enabling the Automatic Free Camera in the SexLab MCM menu can cause CTDs and loss of PC control. So you might want to disable Automatic Free Camera in MCM and just use the hotkey (NumPad 3) to toggle it manually when you want it. It's a good idea to turn it off before the ending animation if you have Ragdoll Ending enabled. If you have Disable Victim Controls enabled in RP's MCM menus, your PC controls are turned off on purpose for aggressive sex, and sometimes they do not turn back on by themselves as they should after sex. So you might want to uncheck that option as well. And finally, when your PC does get immobilized after sex, open the console (it's the ~ key on U.S. keyboards) and enter epc which is the short version of EnablePlayerControls. That fixes it for me almost 100% of the time on those rare occasions when I get rooted. I enjoy getting nailed ON the floor, but not so much getting nailed TO the floor.

Caturday Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Kori, I want to report on the problem with random quests not being started when using the latest version of the RP. I had the same issue as tyuizx, and after I had the massege "no quest was started" I checked in MSM menu for "Currently Registered Random Quest". The number was zero, so I "check for new quests" option and open again Quest menu but it was still zero. I also have a suggestion for future updates. Could you, please, add the option to decline these new random quests with the inn keeper like with orc and fan quests. ok the only reason i see that happens is when you did not install skse 1.7 but just to verify it. Can you please enable papyrus logging and then run the new quest check again and then upload your papyrus.0.log here? I have the same Issue and I am running SKSE 1.7

Active solicitation just go into a cycle of triggering dialogs ('Lets do it here', 'Be gentle', etc.) but never gets to trigger. Have lastest Sexlab, SKSE 1.7, etc.. A little piece of papyrus log, I can't make sense of it: [04/04/2014 - 12:39:40AM] Loading game... The only think it's not working so far is the passive mode (clients wont approach the character). 2nd Edit: Ok nevermind, seems that the tavern clothes are required to trigger the passive mode, and since I have SOS I needed the plugin patch.

I think the bard playing has a lot to do with screwing it up. I think the NPC getting up to clap etc when the bard plays is fighting with RPT and making it work wonky at times on passive or even for sex. I have had clients get up in the middle of the act to clap for the bard for example. As for the clothes I think they are added for a couple of reasons. One so low level characters with out clothes that fit have something to wear and it works as a trigger. So NPC's know to passive contact the PC. Like what the amulet does with NPC's. I am just guessing on the reasons but seems reasonable to me.

Im really outdated with all my mods. But well the wench outfit its not actually required, you can mark any outfit as 'working outfit' in the MCM (much like SL Aroused with 'revealing' armors). My problem was that I like the wench outfit (im using a tbbp version of keos), but yes also have sluttier outfits and you can set them as 'working outfit' for your character to prostitute. I think its actually a good feature not so unnecessary, since you can decide when to 'take a break' (not recieving client propositions) by just unequipping the whore clothes without stoping the quest (talking to the inner keeper). Guess its good for roleplayers too... But ofc that is assuming it works flawessly, and I'm not sure about that anymore. So far I passed from completely not working with the lastest version to 'i think everything works'. The passive worked for me a couple of times but I need to test more. I'd recommend you to uninstall (uncheck in MO) the mod completelly (inclusing older versions), do a clean save, and then run this. Then run the mod again, but this way you avoid scripts with previous versions floating in your save and render this version buggy.

The Bards Play Less mod on Nexus has several variations, there is one where they only do instrumentals unless you request another, which eliminates the applause interruption problems more or less completely. If you look in the larger Inns, you will see that all of the working girls wear the Tavern Clothes and boots. In other words, it's kind of built into the lore of the game that Tavern Clothes are what all us sluts want to be seen in. Thankfully, RP now gives us the option to specify a different outfit as our working clothes. Personally, I registered my Blade & Soul Negligee (it's #16 in this list http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20917-sevenbase-conversions-bombshellcleavage-with-bbp/) as an alternate set of working clothes.

I hadn't noticed that the mod lets you switch the whore clothes (as I was more worried about getting this error solved) but that's nice, so thanks for the clarification. And Lother, my problem is that it hasn't been working on a new save using the latest version, so there's nothing to do with it to get it any cleaner. I started my game yesterday and I don't even care about doing it again, so as I'm saying, if it does work for anyone else I just can't seem to put the finger on what's conflicting with it. I mean, it's not that I don't get people to ask my character, it's that if I so much as ask the inkeeper for whore job while the settings are in passive mode, the quest doesn't even start. [EDIT] Just tested it again. I enabled first "Both", tried again, then "Passive", when asking an innkeeper for job, the quest acted the three times as if started but I wasn't given the tavern clothes and the innkeeper still had the job offer dialogue as if I hadn't gotten it yet. When I switched it to "Active", this time when I asked the innkeeper for job I got four instances of the wench clothes (4 clothes + 4 boots), as if accounting for the previous times I had asked. I wore the outfit with no other equipment and made sure I had the option to ask the clients. I switched to "Both" again, this time after the quest was running already, and walked around the clients in the tavern (3 meter radius). Never got anybody to ask. Then I talked to one dude, offered sex, the dude rejected, then I got the passive solicitation to trigger right after. New game, latest version, no loose scripts, etc. I don't really know what might be causing this, specially if other people is reporting that it does work. For the time being, I'm going to start a new save without the mod and save somewhere with an inn, and I'll check for solutions.

nutluck Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Yeah I have done all my testing with a new game with a special test character I made just to help test mods. For the Passive part what I have noticed and this is just me. I get a lot fewer if the bard is playing. I have seen people get up and I think they are about to head over only to stop half way and start clapping cause the bard is playing. I don't think I have ever turned passive on before I started the main quest. I tend to always wait with all mods, before I make changes I wait until the mod has completely started and is active. Then I make changes to the MCM menu, just seems to work better. @Vithiss yeah thanks I was aware of the mod, have not used it but might. So far I have found spots far enough away from the bard where I can go and the stop in the middle of sex part never happen. So it has been less of a issue, plus since I am testing I try not to "fix" things like that so I can give better feedback. When I next play a game I almost for sure will use that mod as the bards just annoy me in general.

The orc quest is a random quest you can get after you have acquired a high enough rank with the mod. Though if you want to test it or just really want to do that quest you can cheat with these commands. open your console and type whats below and hit enter help mf_Prostitute that will pull up a list of all the quests and stuff for the mod, next type the ID number of the quest you want to start. startquest 80D45L Note that 80D45L is just a made up number to show you what a I meant. After you hit enter after the startquest line, close the console and the orc quest will be started as long as you got the right ID number. You can use it to start any of the quests with this mod or any other.

In all other cases you could be naked. The only think it's not working so far is the passive mode (clients wont approach the character). 2nd Edit: Ok nevermind, seems that the tavern clothes are required to trigger the passive mode, and since I have SOS I needed the plugin patch. that is a error i have never seen. Kori, I want to report on the problem with random quests not being started when using the latest version of the RP. I had the same issue as tyuizx, and after I had the massege "no quest was started" I checked in MSM menu for "Currently Registered Random Quest". The number was zero, so I "check for new quests" option and open again Quest menu but it was still zero. I also have a suggestion for future updates. Could you, please, add the option to decline these new random quests with the inn keeper like with orc and fan quests. ok the only reason i see that happens is when you did not install skse 1.7 but just to verify it. Can you please enable papyrus logging and then run the new quest check again and then upload your papyrus.0.log here? I have the same Issue and I am running SKSE 1.7 ok then please enable papyrus logging and upload the log when after you hit the check for new quests option in the game. After you left the menu you should get some messages in the top right corner.

According to someone who unlikes me knows how to read this things, that just meant that this data was no longer needed in my save game and was being discarded. Which obviously shouldn't happen. It probably remained like that when I uninstalled old versions in favour of the newest. Like the ingame mod update didnt work or something. Reinstalling from start (and deleting orphan scripts related to RP before re adding the mod) solved it apparently. Also I was using in this save 0.81b maybe its too old for a direct update to 1.06, and the orphant data left by it renders 1.06 inoperable. Now after I isntalled RP (lastest) without previous traces my save doesn't apparently discard needed objects now so the mod should work and apparently it does work now it seems. Hmm, I've gotten the issue with the bard many times, but nothing that prevented people from asking my character using the legacy version. I hadn't noticed that the mod lets you switch the whore clothes (as I was more worried about getting this error solved) but that's nice, so thanks for the clarification. And Lother, my problem is that it hasn't been working on a new save using the latest version, so there's nothing to do with it to get it any cleaner. I started my game yesterday and I don't even care about doing it again, so as I'm saying, if it does work for anyone else I just can't seem to put the finger on what's conflicting with it. I mean, it's not that I don't get people to ask my character, it's that if I so much as ask the inkeeper for whore job while the settings are in passive mode, the quest doesn't even start. [EDIT] Just tested it again. I enabled first "Both", tried again, then "Passive", when asking an innkeeper for job, the quest acted the three times as if started but I wasn't given the tavern clothes and the innkeeper still had the job offer dialogue as if I hadn't gotten it yet. When I switched it to "Active", this time when I asked the innkeeper for job I got four instances of the wench clothes (4 clothes + 4 boots), as if accounting for the previous times I had asked. I wore the outfit with no other equipment and made sure I had the option to ask the clients. I switched to "Both" again, this time after the quest was running already, and walked around the clients in the tavern (3 meter radius). Never got anybody to ask. Then I talked to one dude, offered sex, the dude rejected, then I got the passive solicitation to trigger right after. New game, latest version, no loose scripts, etc. I don't really know what might be causing this, specially if other people is reporting that it does work. For the time being, I'm going to start a new save without the mod and save somewhere with an inn, and I'll check for solutions. If the mod isnt starting the quest I can only think of 4 reasons: not using skse 1.7, skse 1.7 not installed propertly, the mod not working propertly, something else not working propertly :-) (yeah very useful hint I know...)
nutluck Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Lother is it possible you have loose files from a previous version still floating around and that is the issue? Because that is my first thought from that, but it is admitedly just a guess.
