I have newest Zaz pack and all works fine with all 4 of my characters. It might be the truth that the Zaz animation pack has to do with but I doubt because I guess we all would have the same issue. But, on the other hand, I'm not an expert.

 

Here is the previous version of Zaz if you need:

Thanks, germanicus... I found that I was running ZaZ version 05.4. I also found that they released a newer version only a week or so ago, AFTER all the statements that it was causing RP to crash were posted, so I figured ZaZ was updated in response to those reported issues.

 

So after uninstalling RP and running the Savetool then re-installing RP, I installed the new ZaZ version 05.51. After running Generate_FNIS_for_users I loaded my latest save, but once I got in-game I found that I still had duplicate RP quests in my journal, same as shown in my previous screenie.

 

I'm on my way in-game now to run around from Inn to Inn and see what jobs (if any) are being offered to see if un/re installing RP and updating ZaZ had any effect, but based on still having two RP umbrella quests I doubt that anything has changed.

 

 

 

I'm so sorry that it didn't work for you. I do not know what else to say. I'm surprised that people have a lot of problems with newest RP version while it is less buggy in my game except 2 things I mentioned somewhere earlier in one of my posts. And those issues don't always happen, but rarely.

another strange problem, i dont get the mcm option for registering quests. its just not there and yes i dribble checkt it.

OK load your last save. re-import the quests save and load again and then start a home delivery.

 

I noticed another symptom of the overall problems I'm having with RP and I'm hoping someone can look at this and maybe get a clue what (if anything) I can do to fix it. I'm not attaching any papyrus logs because there is no crashing since I turned off Beds in MCM. What I have is RP simply doesn't work.

 

I have TWO (not one, but TWO) RP master quests active, which might explain why I keep getting

• duplicate dialogs- it can't be just "Skyrim being stupid" because I have played several other quest mods and they don't give me duplicate dialogs
• some innkeepers don't have the "still offering work" dialog when they should
• some innkeepers say "something interesting came in" but then all they have is the Inn job and rarely, a Home Delivery
• some innkeepers DO have work for me when they shouldn't because I'm already working for another innkeeper
• no innkeeper offers any Camp or Random quests at all

 

Resetting all quests, searching for new quests and/or stopquest/startquest mf_prostitute_handler do not fix this. Here's a screenie of what I'm seeing in my quest journal:

Try do de-install RP load your last save, save again, load and save again and then reinstall RP.

camp and client pick-ups seem to work fine; holster also

didn`t try orc quest or fan quest but i don`t expect them to have problems because they worked fine in prev versions

nope, it`s a clean save that i use when mods are not working

I get the duplicate dialog the first time it introduces me to home delivery. So 1st home delivery quest = 2 dialogs to end it and 1 quest in journal. I`ll try a lv 1 super clean character to see if same thing happens

ok so:

 

- started new character (lv 1)

- teleported to Hulda

- set RP rank stride to 0

- started prostitution

- did 1 client

- ended prostitution

- see pics with what happens next

 

 

 

at this point i tried :

 

- saved game, reloaded ---> fixed the 2 duplicate menus with Hulda but the quest still had [..]; abandoned the quest, tried to get new one and all the bugs started again

- saving and reloding does same things

- quit the game and reloaded ---> same thing

 

hope you can figure out the bug

try it with SKSE 1.07.00 Alpha. Works fine for me.

Don't forget to reset and update quest in MCM. I think that's it.

Kori, I didn't want to do that if I could help it because I would lose all my recruits and I don't even remember who they all are.

 

However, I finally did it last night, before reading your response here. That cured the double-quest in my journal and the innkeepers I've talked to since then seem to have the "offering work" dialog when they should. They also say "something interesting came in" but all they offer is Food, Inn, Recruit and Home jobs- no Camp, no Random.

 

Also, as I suspected, loading a save without RP killed all my Sanctified Amulets of Dibella, so I did indeed lose all my fellow Ladies of the Night. I am going around now trying to find them all and give them new amulets.

 

Still, 70% working is way better than before.

Don't forget to reset and update quest in MCM. I think that's it.

 

 

i have SKSE 1.07 and still doesn`t work. if it works to everyone else then it must be smthing on my side wrong. can`t figure what. i used only the required mods and same thing. hmm .. i didn`t try updating quests from MCM.

in MCM i`ve reseted quests, checked for new quest even used panic button and same thing happens on curent save and brand new character

 

if home delivery quest involves 1 name it works, if i get 2 names gives me [..] and [..]

 

Conclusion: well it`s Skyrim so nothing surprises me anymore

At least you've got some progress with your errors.  I'm still getting zilch in the way of progress.  Just get a message in the corner saying no matches could be found, and I don't get any quest objectives.

yeah, ur problem runs deeper than mine. i just have a bugged quest everything else works.

 

i think smthing is wrong with ur instalation. wrong/conflicting mods or load order of mods, missing files because u instaled manualy, maybe u didn`t run GenerateFNISforUsers...

If only.  I make sure to run that every time I change something, and I've triple-checked the requirements and made sure everything's up to date.  The only game I've had to install a mod manually for is Morrowind; I've used FOMM, OBMM, or NMM for my other BethSoft game mods.

 

Also, another error: whenever I first ask for work in a tavern, they mention getting better clothes, but I don't get the tavern clothes or boots necessary.  No items are awarded;, but asking about new talent still gives me a Sanctified Amulet.  Might be related to my issue.

I've been getting the same problem.  Tried a new save, update quests - save - load, still happens

 

Edit:  maby i just got lucky but i went to Jorrvaskr, waited for the brawl to finish then took the quest again and it worked fine.  The job only involved 1 person though so it may just have been dumb luck
