Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

I'm having the same problems everybody else is. I can't get Death Alternative to do anything with SD once I'm in Blackout, except make me stand there with all my controls disabled. It will however send me to the Simple Slavery auction if I use that as the OnBlackout option, which managed to send me off to the Thalmor embassy w/out actually starting any SD quests. I tried installing Sexy Move and it didn't help anything, for which I'm slightly relieved since I don't want to run that anyway.

 

This is a brand new save file with a level 1 character. I just updated a bunch of mods and I've just been screwing around testing things the last couple days.

If memory serves that problem rises with Death Alternative if you trigger SD through it while the options to delay start up till after "A Night to Remember" is still ticked in MCM... I could be wrong, or it might have been a bug and i just attributed that to it... but it just struck me as DA trying to communicate with a part of SD that wasnt actually active yet.

i tried it with that option ticked off same result and even on its own with only DA, SD+ aint working i tried that too also hotkey surrender aint working.

PC & 2 follower enslave by falmer, after free by master key, my 2 follower hand still tie behide their back with no DD item in their inventory. they just stand still and wont follow me. is this a bug & anyway to reset it?

I tried with the "Night to Remember" options toggled both ways and nothing changed. I think whatever is supposed to happen when you click "Build" in the MCM menu just isn't kicking off.

 

I notice I forgot to actually install Sexlab Dialogues first before trying all this and there was never any warning messages about that. Installing it didn't help anything though.

Okay, I just removed it and reinstalled an older version I had (3.4x) and notice some serious differences. Maybe this will help you figure out what's going on. 3.4 seems to work okay.

 

When starting a new game, in the prison cell from Alternate Start:

3.4

SD starts and I get a message "Sanguine is watching"

3.5

SD says it starts, but no "Sanguine is watching" message

 

The status tab of the MCM menu:

The "Primary Quests" have "In Service to Sanguine" and "Sanguine's Debauchery" checked. The rest are unchecked.

There is no "Build" option under "Updates", it just has "Uninstall"

"In Service to Sanguine" and "Entering Sanguine's Realm" are checked, the rest are unchecked.

"Build" is listed under "Updates" instead of "Uninstall" and doesn't seem to do anything other than telling me to close the menus.

 

3.4 seems to be subject to that Skyrim bug where you have to save and reload before new quests will fire properly. After a reload, I get messages about SL Dialogues and SD updating. In 3.5, those quests don't seem to kick off either way.

 

Also, while messing with 3.4, I insulted the master while enslaved and while he was punishing me, I went into bleedout, which set off Death Alternative, which set off a Defeat scene, which set off DA again afterward, which sent me back to the Simple Slavery cage, so I ended up with simple slavery thinking I was in its cage and SD thinking I was trying to escape, even when I used the hotkey to move back to the master. This is probably my fault more than anything, but I thought I'd mention it.

I had the initialization issues too, installing FNIS Sexy Moves while not activating it seems to do the trick.

Initialization went fine, all keys are working, registering quests in DA is working ( got CTD´s before ).

I think that did it. Still seems to be affected by the save/reload bug, but otherwise it seems to be working. My new char is standing down the road from the thalmor embassy enslaved. Everything seems fine. Simple Slavery teleported me to the wrong spot for some reason but the unstick button fixed that.

I also tried the installing-but-not-activating FNIS Sexy Moves thing and I suddenly got the "Upgrading SD+" message in the top left corner of my screen that was missing before. Also, attempting an upgrade before, without the FNISSM files, would result in my papyrus log having 150+ lines of

 

"warning: Property [various property names] on script _sdras_slave attached to alias _SDRA_slave on quest _SD_enslavement (8500182D) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property"

 

Those seem to be missing now.

That was something I truly would have never thought of, but that fixed my SDPlus352..

 

 

I had just recently gotten rid of Sexy Moves, because it seemed to have something to do with a problem I had with DDI.

 

I have done as you asked, and left it UN-activated, and now MY surrender keys, and everything seems to be working fine.

The thing is - I don't know yet how to fix FNIS Sexy Moves with SD without this new hidden dependency.

 

I can't promise a fix will be available soon but since I emulated code from DD and it seems to be working there, it must be something I missed.

The problem runs deeper than just not having FNIS sexy moves installed.

 

It doesn't seem to install propperly within game, theres a huge delay from the install message til the appearence of the MCM settings appearing and it still doesnt link to Death alternative even when sexy moves is installed.

I ragdoll and cannot do anything, nothing happens until I reload the save or force close it; or I get a CTD.

from what ive read in several forums you should disable ragdoll and just go with bleedout. i do it automatically now myself,maybe thats the issue.

ahaa its not working for me i still don't get sanguine is watching quest MCM is still saying uninstall and cant get enslaved. i installed fnis sexy move but deactivated esp i didn't run fnis again though should i re-run fnis again after installing sexy move ??

 

yep always rerun fnis after any mod change that takes out or puts in animations. i just do it for any change i make even if its obviously not animations to be safe.

I have a new problem now, Death Alternative won't start the enslavement quest. I just sit on the ground in bleedout, unable to move. It stills sends me to Simple Slavery if I set DA up to work with that, and SS starts the enslavement quest okay, so I guess I'll chain it through that for now.

 

BTW, what is the Succubus Pacify spell? I cast it on somebody and nothing seemed to happen.

Alright everyone, because I don't particularly want to leaf through 600+ pages of text to find a solution, I'll start here.

 

I just got into Skyrim modding and figured I'd install everything associated with this mod. I started a new game with CCAS and Alternate Life installed, and set out with this new character to just be enslaved by whatever comes first, after I attempted setting everything the right way. Now, I tried setting the only option after blackout to be SD Enslavement with max priority, and only one of two things happens. I ragdoll and cannot do anything, nothing happens until I reload the save or force close it; or I get a CTD.

 

Any patches or other mods I should be aware of?

from what ive read in several forums you should disable ragdoll and just go with bleedout. i do it automatically now myself,maybe thats the issue.

 

If you have the initialization and log spam issues, can you try installing FNIS Sexy Moves (but not activating it... just install the files, especially the scripts) and let me know if that helps you?

That seems to have done the trick. Strange it didn't work earlier when I had the plugin active. Give me a few minutes to get the new character set up and I'll see if it's working okay now.

 

ahaa its not working for me i still don't get sanguine is watching quest MCM is still saying uninstall and cant get enslaved. i installed fnis sexy move but deactivated esp i didn't run fnis again though should i re-run fnis again after installing sexy move ??

 

 

yep always rerun fnis after any mod change that takes out or puts in animations. i just do it for any change i make even if its obviously not animations to be safe.

I have a new problem now, Death Alternative won't start the enslavement quest. I just sit on the ground in bleedout, unable to move. It stills sends me to Simple Slavery if I set DA up to work with that, and SS starts the enslavement quest okay, so I guess I'll chain it through that for now.

 

BTW, what is the Succubus Pacify spell? I cast it on somebody and nothing seemed to happen.

 

Ugh. Okay, it seems sometimes it's working, sometimes not.

 

Event one: Death Alternative set up to start SD on blackout and death. Knocked into bleedout by a bounty hunter, DA triggers Defeat, Defeat triggers DA blackout, DA wouldn't start the Sanguine enslavement quest.

 

Event two: DA set up to start Simple Slavery. Knocked into bleedout by a troll, DA triggers Defeat, Defeat triggers DA and it won't trigger Simple Slavery.

 

Event three: DA set up to start SD again. Spawned a Forsworn for testing. Knocked into bleedout, DA to Defeat, back to DA and this time it started the SD quest correctly. This was just a test, so I reloaded the earlier save with the troll.

 

Event four: The troll again, with DA set up to start SD and it all worked. The troll enslaved me and my follower. Escaped back to Whiterun and a guard disabled the collar and I was able to break out of it. My follower is broken though, she just stands in the road after I got my collar off. I don't know if that's DA, SD, AFT, Defeat or some other thing that's broken her. With all these mods chained together, it's a wonder any of this works.

I have initialization issues with SD+. Deviously Enslaved can't trigger it through enslavement dialogue even when it's debug talking "Starting SD+" it doesn't , however i have access to mod through MCM menu but it doesnt do anything, and i even can take items through AddItemMenu.esp, but when enslavement is have to be started just nothing happens. Hotkey surrender buttons also didn't respond. That was until i read comments on last page about FNIS Sexy moves. Instaled it through NMM and then disabled esp file. Yes, it fixed mine problem too. Don't know why.

The thing is - I don't know yet how to fix FNIS Sexy Moves with SD without this new hidden dependency.

 

I can't promise a fix will be available soon but since I emulated code from DD and it seems to be working there, it must be something I missed.

 

Yes! now that you mention it, i seem to remember Min said something about DDI being intentionally made to work with Sexy Move's or be compatible with sexy move's. 

 

  So it might be a quirk, that can not easy be avoided.. just a guess ..

 

EDIT >> however with it just in there, and not active, I do not see it as a major problem, except for maybe having to register extra animations, that you do not use.

  I think I remember reading that even non active animations are still counted, but I am probably wrong on that

I had started a new game with v3.5.2 and didn't get the "Sanguine is Watching Quest," so I installed Sexy Moves, ran FNIS, loaded up the new save game and still no quest. It wasn't until I started another new game that SD+ loaded properly and seems to be working fine now. Since SD+ activates when you start a new game, if it doesn't start off right you really can't restart it.
