Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

Your reply helped me a lot because I needed my theories confirmed before I start to reduce my mod setup, and for once I got some detailed feedback instead of just a skeptic "Are you using the latest version son"? :dodgy:  I'm using the latest version of SD+ btw but I need to do some testing with less script heavy mods before I know if I can blame this mod.

Then why start off, so toxic?

I had a lot of difficulty getting my head around adding mods and I doubt that going in guns blazing and spewing bile would get me any help. When you write something, take 2 steps back and read what you wrote as if you are the mod maker...

So... I got nothing else...

What's so rude about what I wrote? I think you have misunderstood something. The comment you have quoted isn't meant in a sarcastic way and I certainly can't see the bile you are referring to. I think you are the one who should take 2 steps back here.

I think he meant this 'but it's the worst mod I've played in terms of functionality'.

Even if it is true, saying this in your opening statement doesn't give the most welcoming vibe...

Missing armbinders - are you playing with a male model?

If you are, install Devious Devices for Him.

This has nothing to do with SD+ missing functionality.

As for the rest, it does look like you are running too many script heavy mods.

I use the orc start from Immerslave regularly in my tests and I didn't run into any of the issues you reported (except for the sliding pose kneeling down... that has been around sicne day one of SD and it not likely to change without increasing the refresh rate of the script and make it even more script heavy :) ).

Tried it again after removing some script heavy mods(Didn't have that many) and I can't get the orc enslavement to play correctly. It's obvious that I have to do something to get it started because waiting accomplished nothing, so I tried running away a bit and only then I got enslaved like I should have.

I also tried the Fornsworn option. Right after the enslavement triggers I get a message saying my master is too far away for punishment and everyone in the cave suddenly turns hostile. This happens despite the fact that I'm not running any mod that affects the forsworn faction. At least not that I know about.

At least I know that the bandit enslavement got ruined by some inconveniently placed npcs from "More interesting NPCs" who literally slaughtered all the bandits. For every mod you install, you risk adding an annoying situation to your game. xD

I generally assume that anyone who does not include any of the following is not trying to be rude:

1. i instaled it, broken piece of crap, u r bad moder for make unworking modd, un-instaled never again to try

2. Random profanity

3. Your mod is broken. Let me tell you how to fix it! If you don't fix it like I say, you are a scrub.

You are right but I'm so frustrated after testing and managing mods all day that I lost it. I apologize for my negativity.

I noticed the same problem with the Forsworn start.

There are a few places where enslavement will turn everybody hostile because of the way factions are set up. This is one of them.

I don't know how to fix that yet.

Flowering Spriggan has evolved well since 3.0. Do you think it would be possible to integrate it with Xandero's stuff?

http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1190-xanderos-stuff102214/

Otherwise there are no animations available other than the default ones, which pretty much makes the spriggan form

kind of boring in comparison.

You can already use these animations from More Nasty Creatures.

I don't want to waste time figuring out how to add them to SD+ when they are already included into a much more comprehensive creature animations mod.

I actually do, however they are expected in a different folder and aren't normally detected;

From your packed bsa, the expected location is meshes/actors/spriggan/animations,

while more nasty creatures expects them in

meshes/actors/spriggan/animations/MNC

You should probably warn people that Interesting NPCs can ruin things when used with this mod, because there are two bandit locations taken by NPCs from that mod(Valheim Towers is the only free location). It would be even better if you found some new locations but that's entirely up to you. The reason I'm saying this is because Interesting NPCs is a very popular mod.

I use interesting NPCs and never have a problem with SD+.

Anyways - awesome mod.

See what I mean... It doesn't invite positive responses. I should have added the other quote, but I take it everything is level now.

Also; have you seen skyrimll's 'running modded install' blog? It's a very very very long list. Just keeping track of what adds what would boggle my mind...

It sounds like you mean this message for Immerslave... not SD.

With SD, you can get enslaved wherever you want.

The problem is the interaction between Live another life (which Immerslave is based on), Interesting NPCs and SD.

Fixing it would require adding new start locations for bandits as an add-on to Live another life, and make them useable by Immerslave, so that when SD is used with Immerslave, everything works smoothly.

I added this to the list of issues: https://github.com/MinLL/SDPlus/issues/253

FLOWERING SPRIGGAN is started and i played almost 32 game hours i don't know what i have to do?

i read the hole MinLL site but i can't find the answer, in site says Eventually, someone with a hunch about its origins will share a bit of information  where can i find him and when?

and where can i find this book in College of Winterhold? i talk to every one but they all says the same thing. god this so frustrating.

1 {Eventually, as you wander Skyrim in this bio-skeleton, someone with a hunch about its origins will share a bit of information regarding where you might learn more about this thing intruding upon you.}

2 your whole inventory will be stripped and removed to a fertile husk. You'll need to learn more about the Spriggan life cycle (the College of Winterhold is a renowned center of knowledge) in order to divine the location of the fertile husk that both contains your inventory and helps the Spriggan complete its fertility cycle.

Whiterun, Temple, Priestess, Book on desk.

Should be enough hints to advance.

This should be mentioned in descriptions.

I recently changed the location of the book to Whiterun as it made more sense.

I didn't get to update the wiki on github yet. My apologies for that,

I will try to update it soon.

Finding the right person to talk to should come in two ways.

Naturally by talking to people - some will have a 'hello' topic that will trigger the right quest stage in your journal.

Or by asking certain NPCs to help you with these things... or 'do you know anything about these roots'. Priests and hunters will have some knowledge to guide you in the right direction.

I'm stuffing every kind of food down this idiot master's throat, and he just keeps bitching that he's starving and I need to get him some food.

The first few times I gave him food, I got the normal message about "that hitting the spot;" and the daily report said nothing about being hungry.  In fact, he was happy.  At some point, I noticed that I was just handing him food without any comment being made.  Since I was giving him a lot of things at once, I guessed that, maybe, that message wasn't being displayed because non-food items were given to him before he gave the message-- although that was just a guess.

Now, I've been in this place for several real-world hours, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's even possible to end this.  Apparently, I can't make myself "useful" because he doesn't recognize the TONS of food of every description I've given him.

Some food and drinks are not detected properly and I still don't know why.

Is there a way to reset the submissive/defiant thing. I think that's the issue I'm having that doens't trigger much of the content. Every time my character gets enslaved she can walk freely and her arms aren't tied behind her back even though she has the cuffs. It says that my character is mostly submissive with a -7. So I suppose that's why?

I've been using this mod for a while, it's always worked great. I wanted to ask though, what are your thoughts on being enslaved by drauger, giants, or maybe even non humanoid creatures/animals. I know it doesn't make a huge amount of sense, but I'd really like to see it as a feature.

In development! At least for Draugr, Giants, and Trolls.

Has anyone else used this with the SKSE 1.7.2 beta build and had any issues with owners constantly unequipping and reequipping arm bindings after asking to have their arms freed? Or is that a bug that occurs with 1.7.1 as well? I read through the known issues list and didn't see anything about it, but I admit that I haven't read though the recent posts here too thoroughly.

Yes. It has been reported. I don't think SkyrimLL has had time to add it to the known issues yet.  ;)
