Kimy Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Unless I come across any game breaking new bug, the next version of SD+ will be out by Friday. Woot! Just out of curiosity - will SD+ and DeviouslyHelpless be compatible then? I -love- both mods and so far I always had to decide between them.
Kimy Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 What is OBIS? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31264 It's bandit faction enhancing mod adding a lot of variety to the bandits. Actually pretty awesome. Unfortunately it's not compatible with DD For the Masses, so personally I can't use it. I need bandits to drop keys, otherwise I'd wear my restraints to the end of my days.
ceraphin Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 So Im having a pretty serious problem, everytime I get enslaved, immidiately after the ensuing rape, I cant do anything BUT crouch and stand up. Any fixes? Check if you have free camera turned on in SexLab and disable it. I'm also having this problem. Free camera is not turned on. Just get stuck standing still doing nothing. Everything around me goes on like normal. I can only crouch and stand up, cannot even rotate the camera at all. It can only look in one direction. This happens immediately after enslavement. Drop to the floor and the camera is stuck in that position even during the first scene. Then it's stuck there regardless.

Just out of curiosity - will SD+ and DeviouslyHelpless be compatible then? I -love- both mods and so far I always had to decide between them. Deviously Helpless will work well with the new version... too well even. Expect being used a lot. I may even have to talk to the author of DH to allow a way to turn it off occasionally while being enslaved. @traveler_phi is right. The last version was about compatibility with DA, to improve conditions of enslavement. This version is about compatibility with Devious Devices, to improve management of bindings and punishment devices and get rid of my attempts at housekeeping rules for devices and filters for sex animations. This version will make SD really compatible with most Devious Devices mods. All this to set the stage for my real goal - rewrite interactions between player and master to make things more interesting and resolve the issue with boring NPCs with nothing to do.
redsword Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 i'll keep it simple for the moment, anyone else have an issue where after you blackout now and start to become enslaved, my character will go on the ground, look tied up, then the game will freeze.

Tanglin Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Is there a way to completely disable Flowering Spriggan? I've already set the options in DAYMOYL such that the Flowering Spriggan quest will not be triggered at Bleedout or any of the other stages but the Flowering Spriggan mobs would still be around. And they are unkillable unless with fire. I used a console command to give myself God mode to test it out and sure enough, once I've gotten a Flowering Spriggan down to a certain percentage of health, it stops going down unless I finish it off with a fire spell. I can't help but feel that I'm being railroaded into doing the Flowering Spriggan quest, a quest that I didn't find enjoyable. I don't have a way of disabling them but I will reduce their level to make them easier to deal with. Thanks, much appreciated
lexv Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 About Deviously Helpless: Its a very funny and immersive symbiosis with SD+, because player was defeated by a GROUP of enemies. But something not OK on DH side: whole population of forsworn camp follows PC after gangbang for too long, this must be decreased while PC is enslaved. Skyrimll, if you will have to talk to the author of DH, just imagine about minor chance of getting PC enslaved after DH "main" event BTW, adding minor chance of getting enslaved after Dangerous Nights event will be funny too.
Content Consumer Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I have a quick question - how long after you escape does it take for your bonds to be removed? I was enslaved by the falmer, and escaped, and nobody will remove my bonds... not guards, not citizens, etc...
Alveria Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Okay .. I couldnt find an answer browsing the topic, so heres hoping I can get one. My character was enslaved in Fort Greymoor. After enslavement, im completly unable to move, or do anything, my character sometimes gets tossed around between the bandits, and then after that, the bandits walk away, including the 'owner' .. after this im left standing, unable to move, or do anything. Hitting End does nothing but teleport me to the master. Shortly after that the bandits leave, i hear them exit the fort, usually .. and shortly after that, the game crashes to desktop. Shift+end does nothing to fix it. using the safeword command in SD+ does nothing. and using the console command enableplayercontrols does nothing. Any way to fix this? Im not sure what it could be.. Check if you have the free camera option turned on in SexLab. That is usually the cause of that kind of freeze. Alright. I tried this and i can toggle using a hotkey between free camera mode and normal mode - toggling between the two does not return movement to to normal. If i try had enough to use the repostion near master, i can speak and chose dialog, however if i try to wait, it says that i cannot wait at this time, otherwise, theres no way to move. Shift+end to fully cancel a scene as said before didnt work. So i'm not sure whats causing this lock up.

It doesn't replace regular bandits, it just adds more, so there are still plenty of dropped keys, especially if you increase key drop chances in DD-FtM. Or you can make your own keys.
Canelo Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Just a question, can I safely remove the mod from a savegame where it's inserted but not yet installed (the option "install" is still available in the MCM) ?

I can't tell for sure but it should be relatively safe. If you can afford the slot in your load order, the safest would be to just ignore it and leave it dormant and not 'installed'.

It will be safer to upgrade a dormant version rather than a save game with broken remnants (unless of course you completely remove the dormant mod and scrub your save game with a save game cleaner).

jfraser Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I'm not sure, it's been a long time since I played without OBIS and immersive patrols, so I don't remember how prevalent vanilla bandits were. But I can say I still run into them with regularity, and I'm always glad to see them because they die much easier than the OBIS ones.
Zydar Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I always use OBIS, Immersive Patrols and the Populated Land Roads and Civil War together with Apocalypse Magic Pack, ASIS and its patch. It still keeps the bandits relatively challenging in higher levels for me. Did not know that OBIS and DD - FtM did not go well together though.
Kimy Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 OBIS does dramatically reduce the chances to meet vanilla bandits and DD FtM doesn't recognize the custom bandits it introduces, so that's why it and DD FtM don't go together if your main DD escape mechanism is key drops. I have key crafting disabled entirely, so I -need- those bandits. I'd reinstall OBIS in an instant if DD FtM would be patched to recognize its custom bandits.

Zydar Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I remember setting it to 25%, but with real to fake keys ratio very low and favoring restraints more than the chastity key. Makes it a tease every time I found one.

I can imagine Skymill's new version will be interesting.
eflat0 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Sleeping in Sanguine's Shrine gives you 100% chance of visiting Dreamworld (only after 1st visit) IIRC there is no Shrine of Sanguine in Skyrim. Unless you intent to add one yourself. Already done in the last version or the version before that. Check under the Honningbrew Meadery Not really 100%... not sure, I turned off dangerous nights to be sure what was happening. Anyway... sometimes I just awoke with a sticky substance, a few times nothing happened and a couple times ended up in dream world. The former (sticky and nothng) occurred more often.

Unless you intent to add one yourself. Already done in the last version or the version before that. Check under the Honningbrew Meadery Can you make it reachable without having been there before? That would be a good way to start the dreamworld stuff without allowing myself to be enslaved. I actually prefer being enslaved or some event happen first... Is a a good place for the shrine in many ways yet somewhat not due to it being access dependent. ... but what could have happened there... i.e. Completion of "A Night To Remember" would mark upon receiving "the Rose" Sanguine's being artifact draws the player to ... the shrine area... Now if the shrine had Sanguine cult npc's (a couple of Priestess' and willing submissive-slaves) with a dialog encouraging/misleading - spiked wine which is spell-bound - controlling and deceiving the PC into being an unknowing ritual sacrifice - sleeping or laying - upon the alter. am being imaginative is all... Are a few things I think of, Seems the whole premise of mine is the PC is in servitude - willing or not - to the Daedra Sanguine, I imagine more happening in dream world... like Sanguine makes the PC "pay" - forced to drink then tortured and raped by him and/or his slaves for his amusement - before he returns the PC to Skyrim. The PC is to him ... a pet and toy.
